I was using CorelDRAW X6 when we had a momentary power outtage. When I rebooted and attempted to reopen Corel I received the following message,
"Valid workplace file not found at path specified."
I uninstalled and reinstalled Corel and still get the same message. I don't know how to fix this. Must I save all existing files on an external drive and use the "Restore" disc to start all over?
When I try to open photo paint x3, a box pops up that says "Valid workspace file not found at the path specified." I click OK, then the box pops up again. Click OK once more then the program closes.
After two years of no problems invoking Draw or Photo, I received this message today when I tried to start both Draw and Photo... I downloaded and ran the CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5 (and CorelDRAW Premium Suite X5) Service Pack 3 but it failed because it couldn't find my X5 suite installed on my computer.
I am attaching a File as a xRef. At the time of Attachment, I select attach as attachment, and No Path in Path.
Now if I try to fetch detail of this file using MdiActiveDocument.Database and BlockTableRecord, I gets only file name not the path. However, In AutoCAD we can see the file path under "Found At". Can we read / fetch this using C#.
In case of Full Path or relative Path, I gets full path in btr.PathName
Here is my code and I am using AutoCAD 2013
Database db = acadApp.DocumentManager.MdiActiveDocument.Database; using (Transaction Trans = db.TransactionManager.StartTransaction()) { BlockTable BlkTbl = (BlockTable)Trans.GetObject(db.BlockTableId, OpenMode.ForRead,false,true); db.ResolveXrefs(false, false);
When I use ImportSubassembly API to import my subassembly created by Autodesk Subassembly Composer into my civil project, it reports error-"eFilerError".
i made a survey, about 2000 points with my TSC3R6. I exported my CSV file to a PNEZD file with comma seperated. When i try ti import the file (CSV then i made a .txt), C3D tells me "no point file format match found". Then I opened the txt file, searched for any error that would not let me import my points. The only thing i have found would be the description of my points that sometimes had a space between 2 words (ex: bt balast and ht balast) so i changed it to bt-balast and ht-balast. i looked further and didnt found anything else. heres a sample of my txt file:
Verify that the files exists and that you can access it. Needless to say AutoCad wont open all I get is Retry or Cancel, selecting.
Retry just gets the same error so when I Cancel I then get "Are you sure you want to Cancel" which I select and then I get the message Fatal Error during installation.
This is a downloaded install from Autodesk and I dont have discs available.
DWG TruView,Autodesk Vault 2010 and Autodesk Design all installed OK.
System detail's; OS is 64 bit Windows Home 7 Ver 6.1.7600 with IE8

I've looked around at various forum's without success.A couple of sites offer what they call a fix but it turns out to be registry scanners.
I am tryiny to import coordinate file like I have so many times and the Select File box keeps telling me "No point file format match found". I click the proper file format and it shows in the Preview box but the OK box will not go dark so I can clcik on it. The file is a CSv and tried making it a txt with no luck. Using 2012.
I recently switched from Civil 3D 2012 to 2013 student version because when I initially installed the program I probably messed up some of the settings that I shouldn't have for my entire application. After reinstalling it, I noticed that the program seems to run just fine but the settings for the original file I'm trying to work with remain, such as label settings, linescales, etc.
I want my drawing to match the settings of new drawings when it comes to labels, scales, and anything else I might have changed. Is there a way to apply these settings to my original file? If not, is there a way to at least make sure the label styles can be reset? I don't want any changes to the settings I made to be present in my file.
I'm very new to Civil 3D.I've been given original topography in a .dwg file and a .csv file of the same topography after some dirt work.My problem is when I import the .csv file the points don't overlay the original topography.
What I have done is added the .csv points to the original topography .dwg with the "Points From File" option.
I have created a bin/vat/tub using sheet metal. I started with a contour flange. I then copied the sketch and pasted into a new sketch off the flange for a contour roll feature. Then a flange, roll, flange, roll, flange and roll. My trouble starts at the last flange. I'm trying to construct the flange exactly as I have created the features before. I set the distance, select the profile (it shows the flange on the screen), hit apply and that's when my message shows up. "Non-tangent curves found in path: flat pattern cannot be correctly created. Edit sketch and add constraints to the curves. The sketch is fully constrained according to the lower right hand corner and the auto constrain button.
Have existing hotel site plan project folder and I copied it to new location and renamed folder and file names I have a grading plan that has spot elevations from data shortcut referenced surface. Is there a way to reference the new revised surface, that has same name and have the elevations update with the new surface and then delete the original referenced surface.

What exactly is this tool used for if you cant change the source file name or the path? and why would the interface let me poke into these fields and give me the option to find and replace if they cnnot be edited
So how can I change the Source File name and path?

I have linked files in a realtive path /sheets/ in my adboe ai file. We are generating 10,000's of images and placing them in the /sheets/ folder. The naming scheme is the same.
However when I share this project with a friend over dropbox. ai + /sheets/ folder. When he opens it up he's getting a ton of errors about the files not being found.
Does illustrator ignore linked file locations if the path isn't ABOSULUTE? Or if the newly generated images are overwritting the previous ones?
How can I fix this because we are looking at 10,000's of large image reaplcments that will take DAYS of mannual labor?
How to set the drawing file path so it shows up at the top of my screen when I am in an autocad session? Currently all I see is "Autocad Civil 3D".......
I need to update both the path and the Source file name in Data Shortcuts editor. If I update the path, it looks in the new path for the old file name, and throws an error. If I update the File name, it looks in the old path for the new file name, and throws the same error.
I've made an stairs assembly that contains adaptive parts that are all controlled by the assembly parameters.
Here is my assembly and the controlling parameters. The stringers on the side are made with the frame generator and use the "extend" feature to get the appropriate length, as driven by the parameters. The reason I used frame generator is so that I can easily change sizes of the stringers down the road, if needed. I chose to make the parts associative so I could control all of the parameters from within the assembly instead of opening each part separately.
My goal now is to be able to use this assembly (or something similar) as a template to create new sets of stairs, all to be placed in the same main assembly.
I attempted to duplicate all of the parts (append a "2" at the end of each file name and replace components in the new set of stairs with the 2nd version) but ran into problems with the two stringers. I can't figure out what to do to get the Frame00001 and Skeleton00001 to reassociate to Frame00002 and Skeleton00002. So any time I change my slope, the original stairs will end up trying to copy the new stringers instead of keeping the old ones.
how can I make this assembly reference a new frame, and secondly?
We are trying to edit a small portion of an existing corridor by adding a generic daylighting subassembly. The add subassembly tool in the Corridor Section editor works, but we get an error because the new sub doesn't have a target surface specified. how to add a target for a sub that is added after the corridor was created?

I need to transition to one subassebly to another. The first subassembly is at existing ground the other assembly is above ground. See following picture:
I need to transition from station 12+50 to 13+50. See following picture:
Here is a picture of the Corridor Properties:
Do I need to make a different subassembly in between the two stations? Is there a command I am not seeing that does it for me?
I know this sounds like a really stupid question. Where is the subassembly composer? We have Civil3D 2013, and my understanding was that the subassembly composer was supposed to automatically install in 2013 as opposed to previous years when you had to download it from the Subscription Center.
I have a project where I am removing existing asphalt pavement and overlaying new pavement. I am changing the existing profile and cross-slope to tie-in to the existing profile and cross-slope. know of a mill and overlay subassembly that will allow you to tie the edge to a profile or feature line?
Specifically to Subassembly.LinkWidthAndSlope / I only have Top or Datum options for that sub and if I assign either one in the code set it seems to overwrite all the other subassembly materials such as asphalt, curbs etc...with none set my realisic view has a gap between the back of curb and slope to existing.

but I don't know where, and I just want to create a simple assembly with a slope and delta X and having a lane outside superelevation for the both side.
Why I can't mirror the Daylight Inside ROW Subassembly? For some reason I can only place it on the right side of my assembly and in the subassembly properties there is no option to flip it to the left. In the Modify Subassembly section when it's selected the mirror option is greyed out.
What I am trying to accomplish seems simple enough:
I have a utility easement in a drainage ditch that is 30' wide with a sewer line designed down the center, we need a very simple 10' access road on the uphill side of sewer line with 4:1 Cut/Fill slopes on either side when possible, however when the 4:1 won't catch within the easement I need it to daylight within.
At first glance the Daylight Inside ROW seems to be the appropriate subassembly for this instance but I can't get it on the left side of my road.Is there a way to set up this parameter with a different subassembly because I can get other subassemblies on the either side just fine, for example, the Cut Slope Layout Mode subaasembly works but when I build my corridor with it the slopes tie outside of the easement in several locations.
