How to label all lines in one go (window selection)?
Is there a way to label all the lines in one go by using the “window selection”? why the current behaviour of the selection requires to select the lines one by one?
How to remove the (‘) that appears at the end of each label? Is there an icon for the “add lables” command on the ribbon? Why the command “_AeccLblDlgGeneralNote” is not defined on the command line?

View 1 Replies View RelatedAs far as I know there is no way to add or remove vertices on contour label lines. Is this correct?
If so it's another one for my wish list.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a regular AutoCAD line in a profile view and wondered if there is a way of labeling the grade of the line. I'd think I could use and expression to calculate it. But I don't know how to automatically adjust for the vertical exaggeration without having to have a separate expression for all possible situations.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have two files...
File 1: with a Profile View => Units set to Meters and Scale set to 1:100
File 2: Units set to Milimeters, Model Space Scale set to 1:100 (same as File 1), Viewport Scale set to 1:100 , Plot style scale set to 1:1
Now I want to X-Ref the "File 1" into "File 2" but when I do that, Civ3D scales all the Profile Labels to huge size. I understand, it has to do with different units (meters and millimeters) set in both file... but thats the way I want this to be...
Please note, in File 2: Model Space scale 1:100 is different than Viewport Scale 1:100, because Model Space scale 1:100 is coming from "File 1" which is set to Meters.
I even tried to keep both Model Space Scale and Viewport Scale same in "File 2" but that didn' work either.
What can I do to show intersection information in a profile label?I mean, supose I have two roads (A and B)... what should I do to show in the road A vertical profile the name and the station of road B in the properly position of this A profile? URL....

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a label style creating a callout bubble for structures in a pipe network, but it keeps placing the label (and therefore, the leader when dragged) at the edge of the structure, and I want it to go to the center.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I use a layout size such as A3 in paper space, the section view label text size is the same as it is in model space (when both annotative scales are the same). However, when I choose 11x17 as a layout size, the section view label text size is exetremly small.
View 2 Replies View RelatedHow would I create the effect
The effect I'm looking at is the alternate lines of semitransparent colour that are over the image.
I'm attempting to create a profile view and then modify the label by overriding the text components. Unfortunately the profile view bands don't populate the labels until after my command is complete making it not possible to modify them in one command. Is there a way to update the band to have it show the labels?

View 4 Replies View RelatedIm having an issue where the horizontal grid lines in my profile are projecting out past my last specified station (see attached) My profile begins at sta: 1+00 and ends at 1+12. My user specified station range is sta: 0+80 to 1+30. I didn't have this issue in release 11 (im currently using release 12) with this profile view style and i did hundreds of profiles with this very same style.

I'm working with a structure profile label style and it seems like the only way to anchor the position of the label is based on offsets from the structure itself... Any way to position the label based on the top of the profile view, so that I could make all of my labels horizontally aligned above the profile view?
View 9 Replies View RelatedEach time when I place a part in base view, have to follow few steps; go through view label, format Text, than choose type option - [Properties-Model] and its property - [Part Number], than placing dimensions. it takes long time and very repetitive, especially, when placing a hundreds of parts and I was wondering if there is an option, to set up view label; [Properties - Model ]& [Part number], as a DEFAULT. So, each time placing a part, in base view it will come up with correct label. Also, overall dimensions, can it be retrieve using parameters of the part?

View 3 Replies View Relatedrecommend a good way to indicate the location of cross section sample lines in a profile view (of same alignment) as vertical lines? the sample lines have been created at user defined locations from polylines, and do not follow a particular station order. my first thought was to use transparent command to draw line in profile view using station from plan view, but i have in excess of 100 cross sections, and that may be time consuming.

The label associated to a grading point when is moved when is moved changes its size automatically and a leader appears. After this happen no control over the grading point and its associate label. refer to the image below.
View 1 Replies View RelatedC3D 2013. We have profile line labels, some of which get manually edited (for example, change the "<[Tangent grade(FP|P2|RN|AP|GC|UN|SD|OF)]>" to a static number such as 0.29%).
However, if you CTRL+Click and select one of these labels and change the style of that one label, then the manual edits are lost and the label reverts back to the default string.
Is there any way to turn this behavior off?

View 2 Replies View RelatedIn the Sheet Set Manager, in the Sheet List tab, if you click on the project name and Righ-Click and select Properties, you can see the file to be used as the Label Block for Views. It appears that there can be only one block chosen.

Is there anyway to have a different block for a subset of drawing?

I found some code to add labels such as "Top View" "Left" view etc. to view labels, but it's not quite what I'm looking for. I'm OK with the default "View 1" and "Scale 1/4" that comes up on the multiview but I want the view label to say something like "Flat Pattern" and "Scale 1/4" when I do a flat pattern and same for ISO. How to accomplish that with iLogic?
