Changing e-max value introduces an “exclamation mark”,
I wanted to select an emax of 6% but sounds that the horizontal curve is flagged by “exclamation mark” (attached). What might be the issue here?

I’m wondering why I got exclamation mark (!) with the dimensions! I wanted to get rid of them but sounds that there is now way to achieve that. I tried to right click the exclamation mark (!) and choose the “reassociate” but with no effect!

I am having an issue with an xref in one of my drawings. There are AEC_WALL objects in the xref file but in my drawing they show up as small triangles with an exclamation mark inside.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have Canon 60d original footage shot at 1080p 25. The clip is only 9-1/2 sec long. When I play the clip straight out of my pc folder inside VLC the clip is smooth. The moment I import the clip into VS proX5 timeline and straight away, share / create video file / AVCHD / 1920x1080p preset, VS introduces 4 dreaded stutter problems into the render finished product which is very noticeable and ugly to watch.. I am in PAL land and VS was installed to PAL. I have also tried the WMV hd1080p preset and mpeg-4 and the results where just as disappointing.

View 5 Replies View RelatedThis week we are working with 16 bit DPX. We import that material into the media library as 16 bit float with the 16i_to_16f color transform. That media then goes on to a 16 bit float timeline. We then have to add a 16f_to_16i to get the image looking ok on the monitor again.
We seem to be having an issue when performing a resize on the material. There ends up artifacting around the hightlights. Changing the filter and filter values seems to have a better visual effect, but we're concerned that we are effecting other parts of the image.
Is there something else we should be applying to better map the values on the highlights?
How come when you try and check a distance on an alignment, and say I try and click on one of the tick marks it will not snap to the intersection of the tick mark....it like jumps off like half a foot and will not give you an accurate measurement?

I saw a co-worker do a 'temp-save' on a drawing, mess around with drawing, and then come back to the spot in drawing where he had 'saved' to essetially deleting all the stuff he had done. I cannot remeber what he used to mark this and then be able to come back, but if he liked the edits he had made, he could just keep drawing.

How can I show that mark and that mark disappears when I do zoom or regen?
I open files from many different customers in 'vanilla' Autocad 2012, upon exiting I occasionally get an exclamation mark inside of a triangle that appears on the screen by itself after the program closes...No text associated with the close just an exclamation mark inside of a triangle with an 'OK' to dismiss....Does not appear to be file specific, does not happen after any specific input either...Is there perhaps a log I can enable and/or interrogate to see what is causing this warning?

The description keys are set to $* and I have tried changing the Label Style from full description to raw description. I cannot get any information after the " mark from our field data. LDD used to put it in, but civil 3D truncates the information. I know I can do a find and replace in the .csv file, but would rather not have to continually edit the .csv file. Where the setting in civil 3D is to allow this to happen? I have even messed with the Point File Formats to no avail.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just updated my computer with the latest and greatest parts and was excited to open Revit 2013 and try it out. I installed it last night and tried to open it. The splash screen appears for a second and then closes. On the first try, a yellow triangle with an exclamation popped up, it hasn't happened since. I fixed the registry with MS fix it, uninstalled it, and reinstalled it.
I read that it was not compatible with hyperthreading 8 core CPUs. I don't think this is the issue, because I do not have a 8 core CPU. I have a i7 3.5 Quad Core with Hyperthreading, 16 gigs RAM, 1 gig Graphics Card, and a Solid State Drive.
I was wondering if after drawing an alignment, creating a profile, and profile view, is there a way I can mark items along the alignment so they could show up in the profile view. I am laying out a pipeline and want to have the profile display a marker for items such as tees, elbows, reducers and other items. The marker I would like to use will be something like the vertical style grade break markers.
Also on a side note, as each of these items will have a different name, is there a way that I can add these markers and then have each one with a unique name?
I copied my catalog from Windows 7 PC (along with all photos) to a new iMac OXS 10.8. Installed Lightroom 4.3 on the iMac (with photos and catalog in same relative locations as previously in the photos folder)
In the Lightroom library on the iMac, all my photos have an exclamation mark in the top corner, and when opening any of them, I get a comment suggesting metadata is in conflict.The actaul metadata in the photos looks fine.Is there a global command with which I can cancel these exclamation marks?
I am still trying to learn the basics in AutoCAD. Here is an example: I have many lines created in a drawing that all are different in collar,layer,line type,. Now I want to start drawing a new line But with the settings of a specific line . instead of changing every attribute(collor,layer,line type.) How can I simple pick a line I like from the drawing and then the line tool adopts the settings from that line? The same question for other tools for example text, dims,... Is the a tool the simple picks the objects attributes and make those current ?

I had a table in a drawing on layer "Text" and I changed the layer of the table to "Text - Frozen" Then I decided I wanted the table back on layer "Text" and something strange happened. The text in the table appears to be on the layer "Text" but the lines which make up the table are still on layer "Text - Frozen". So when I freeze "Text - Frozen" I get only the content of the table with no lines. When I select the table, it is indicated that it is on layer "Text".

A pipe network has been created & labeled. All pipes labeled correctly except one. The material for 15", 18", 24" RCP pipes labeled "RCP" but all the 12" pipes labeled "Reinforced Concrete Pipe". So I know I need to change the Material of the 12" pipe to read "RCP". I was hoping to just go to Pipe Properties & change it there for this dwg but it doesn't change.
I was thinking it might be in the part xml file but why would some label "RCP" and the 12" didn't? The Parts Catolog used in this dwg is the default from Autodesk. Also, in the Part List, Material is greyed out. That's the first place I went to change the Material.

I conducted 2 surveys on different days and somehow the second survey was off by exactly 0.9 (don't ask because I do not know). With the temperatures being -10C with a very high windchill. I said I would worry about it after the fact once I put it into CAD.
So I am on to Civil3D 2014. I imported the 2 .FBK files and was wondering how to do an elevation drop of 0.900m for just the one survey quickly.
This has happened in a couple of drawings now. The STYLE dialog keeps saying "The current style has been modified. Do you want to save your changes?" even when I have changed nothing at all. Anyway, I select the style I want, hit Apply and Set Current, and put in some text. Now I list that text, and sure enough, instead of being on L80 it says L-BASE|Standard or some such thing. If I use DTEXT, Style and set it there, my text will be the correct style - but if I go back to the Style dialog box, L-BASE|Standard will show as current again. Acad C3D 2011.

However, I've run into a non-standard size that is not in the dropdown menu, how can I add another size to the list?
Basically, I need a 1.5" on the list in the attached screep cap.
I originally did an existing surface that I was not really satisfied with. Then did an existing and proposed profile using the LandXML import/export option for getting the information from one file to another. I have since redone the existing surface to something I am more satisfied with, and set up data shortcuts, but I cannot figure out how to update the existing portion of my profile.
Essentially, I want to "unload" the previous surface information from LandXML and redirect the profile to the data shortcut information so the existing portion of the profile can be updated... preferably without disturbing the proposed portion of the profile.
There is a dialog box that lists information about the profile, but it does not want to let me modify or change anything.

I am trying to change the sizes of markers individually. When I change the marker of one, it changes for all of them. I think this has to do with the point groups. I am able to add all points to a new group but I cant specify which markers i want in that group.
