how to rotate the architectural tick of a leader line ? I don't use ACAD on a daily basis and have forgotten the command.

I have a file that the architectural tick marks are not solid. They are an outline of a rectangle.
fillmode =1
shademode = 2dwireframe
options/display = solid fill is checked.
I am on ACA2011. It does not matter if I am in model or a viewport. It is the same.
I have another file open and that dim ticks are filled.
I have imported the dim string into the one that does not work and still nothing.
Is there a way to change the leader arrowhead size without changing the dimension arrow/tick size?

I can get the leading zeros in the architectural dim style. My problem is I cant seem to get the leading zero in the parts list format. If I edit the parts list, then format column, there is no option to include leading zeros like in the dim styles.
We could format the parts list with the leading zero before....This is in 2013, BTW..
I'm trying to edit an architectural Title Block. I've went into block editor and did attribute definitions. However, when I save it I can't insert it into a drawing. Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening?

The text commant in a drawing has the option to attach an arrow head with a leader. I want the text to be horizontal, so, i drag the leader line approximately horizontal.

I just started at this drafting job and inherited most of the graphics from others. Version: AutoCAD LT 2010.
Some of the leaders on my drawing somehow changed so that the arrowheads do not show. When I began working on the drawing, the arrowheads were fine, but while I have been working on the drawing, all of a sudden these leaders changed this property.
The properties manager lists these problem leaders as "line with no arrow." Although there is a drop-down menu to choose things like "line with arrow," the "no arrow" option does not change when I pick anything else.

I have a leader that I want to make the line part of thicker (already made the leader arrow head bigger). I saw that it appeared to be based on dimension style, and I tried changing the lien thickness in there although as we use color dependent plot files, not line weight dependent plot styles, this had no effect.

View 2 Replies View RelatedFor my dimension style, I have my text placement set to over dimension line, with leader, so I can drag the actual text outside the dimension line with a leader attached when necessary, but when I try to move the text outside of the dimension line it always draws the leader underlining the entire piece of text that I have moved. I have some difficulty in reversing the text on a leader to the opposite side. As per the picture below, it is on the right side, but I would like to move it to the left. When I drag it, the whole leader goes with it. The text in reference here is the one with ".06 x 45.

View 3 Replies View RelatedAll of my multi leaders (mleaders) worked great in 2012 with the added "extend leader to text" for leaders on the end of a text string, but in 2013, they now attach to the end of the box again.
Some appear as though they are "trying" to extend, but the beginning of the leader without the extension now starts at the end of the box on the FIRST line.
See the attached examples:
Top one - Mleader is on the end of a text box larger than the actual text (NOTE: I have many drawings like this, opening them in 2013 is a nightmare)
Version #2 - Note what the leader does in this example, the "extend to end of text" is the correct length, but it starts at the edge of the box, not the end of the first line of text. Again, this worked fine in 2012.
Version #3 - This is what should happen, only happens if you adjust the text box size. I don't really want to spend my clients money updated dozens of multileaders on hundreds of drawings to force the mleader to work.
Just a quick (but possibly hard?) question. I have a multileader set up, but I also want it to automatically include a line which spans the vertical breadth of the text at the end of the landing. It's hard to explain, so I've put an image below.
Currently it's set up as a block that can change in height, depending on how many levels of text I tell it to fit to. Problem is, if I rescale my Multileader, I'll have to go back and rescale the block separately.
Now, possible to include such a feature in a Multileader such that it autoscales and auto lengthens, depending on the height of text?
I want to have a line connecting a block with an attribute, much like how a leader connects text to a basepoint. Is this possible?
