We have installed autocad 2013 on windows 7 64bits VM (xendesktop 5.6 on VMWare Hypervisor) and the mouse move is very slow or the cursor stop and move again.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am running autocad lt 2011 with the latest windows 7. My mouse is very jerky within paper or model space but especially when I try linear demand or line demand.
I have tried accessing performance tuner but cannot find it, I have reset my hardware accelator to 0. I am not using an aero graphic within windows and am checking my graphics card.
On Civil3D 2007, at least on my machine, the mouse seems to move slowly when it is over the drawing space, but moves at normal speeds when over menu or toolbar items and when in other applications. It's almost as if the "resolution" of the mouse changes as soon as it is over the drawing area in Civil3D. The result is that the mouse/pointer falls behind a little bit when you move it, almost like it does when you use a remote computer over a slow network connection. This makes it difficult to have precise mouse movements.
I should also mention that I don't have this problem in any other applications, including Land Desktop 2006. Some hardware specifics: Dell, P4-HT 3.0GHz, XPpro machine, 2 gig of RAM, RADEON X600 256MB video card, single monitor, Logitech Mx500 mouse, all updates current.
How come the zoom on middle mouse reacts so slowly compared to using the zoom icon (magnifier) ? its slow, clunky and takes a moment to get going, it also has zoom limits which the magnifier does n`t.

When I go into block editor, edit the block then close it out. My cursor is really jerky in model space. Especially bad when I go into a command and try to select something. The only way to get rid of the jerkiness is to close auto cad and restart it. Is there anyway to cure this?
I have 2010 and am experiencing this exact same problem. It is intermittent and will sometimes 'go away' after a few minutes. Block editing is definitely related as a cause. I use SDI = 1 predominantly and it seems to be session independent. In other words one drawing session is experiencing the problem but jumping to another concurrent session exhibits no issues.
Task manager shows off the chart 99% plus on process ACAD when it is occurring.
Palette transparency is off globally. I have installed the latest NVidia driver for my Quadro NVS 285 video card. I am running a 3GHz P4 with 4 Gigabytes of ram - Dell Precision 380 workstation. Block Editor background color is default.
Restarting AutoCAD does make it go away - for the moment - but it is soon back. Even closing all tool palettes has no effect.
This does seem to be drawing specific - 2010 seems to be sensitive to something in older drawing blocks - prototype drawings from hotel vendors for instance - most likely inherited from a third party DXF process exhibit the issue heavily - and blocks from these drawings to a lesser degree. I have to constantly purge, audit, and wblock/replace my drawings to keep them clean. My default file type is 2010 which 'seems' to work, but it still happens. Audits show constant drawing errors cropping up, and repeating an audit, shows the same errors until a wblock replace is performed.
I'm currently using windows 8. OS Version is not related to this issue I think since I'm using both CS5 and CS6.CS6, compared to CS5, scroll increment is just too small, and there's no option for this in CS6. It is a real pain while zoomed in.

I installed c3d 2013 trial still i get same problem. I installed autodesk certified driver same problem.

I use Creative Suite 6 on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit with a Gen 3 Core i7, 12GB of ram and a 3GB Nvidia 670m video card so I know it's definitely not hardware related.

When I go to draw anything or move anything, the canvas does not respond to mouse events at all. Right clicking doesn't work, dragging edges of the free transform box doesn't work, even the top menu bar (File, Edit, View, etc) does not detect when I mouse over from one menu selection to another (e.g. moving the mouse from "File" to "Edit")
I have a big problem with the viewport in 3ds max 2011/2012. On each viewport I have a black or white bars on right. these bar make the mouse become inaccurate for example when i want to select a vertex I can't drag the mouse on it and click. I have to move the mouse away from it a distance to select it (see my attachment image). I tried to update the graphic driver and the 3ds max 2012 SP1 but the problem's still there.

I've looked everywhere to see if there is some config parameter that changes the meaning of mouse buttons, but have found none. I've rebooted and reloaded Draw and nothing has changed. I'm sure X6 didn't come this way, even though I've only been using X6 for 6 months or so. I click drag move objects all the time, so I'm sure I'd have noticed this. I've even tried resetting the workspace, but holding down the F8 key while loading Draw doesn't seem to work.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI am using Illustrator on a Wacom 24HD on a PC, which works quite well, except that as a right handed person, the tooltips, which appear to the right of the mouse cursor, are covered by my hand. Windows (and the Wacom settings) both have a left hand / right hand setting which control where a popup menu appears, however, I do not see anywhere where I can control where the tooltips appear, presumably because this is an Illustrator feature, not a Windows feature. Its particular important for this application because tooltips are used for information (such as size when dragging out new shapes), not just for beginners needing a reminder what a button means. To put the tooltips to the left of the cursor instead of the right?

where I can't use the move tool with the mouse properly. I'll go and select a single item on a layer and then try to move it with the mouse (move tool). I've done this before and still do it all the time on Photoshop on my other machines. However, on my laptop it won't work. I grab the single object I want to move and the second I move it, it defaults to moving every single layer in my file.

It is a very recent install, I may have some how buggered the mouse input when configuring my wacom.
