Every time i open some drawings i have to wait for the command line to to scan some files or something.
It is very similar to this one but it is not solved. [URL] .....
here is what the command line writes every time:

i have problem with vba sendcommand method, which i use to send publish command. vba code doesn't wait to finish this command, but continues. i need to wait for finish publishing and then continue.

if you care to not click-through, the problem is that certain commands (not all of them) simply do not disply in the command line. so the MOVE command for example looks like this:

same with QSAVE and who knows how many others.
using map 3d 2012 with windows 7 and when copy and try to paste it takes roughly 3.5 minutes.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently switched from LDD to Civil 3D 2010 and have since had problems with the command line recognizing Alt Codes when entering leader text. After the leader command is finalized, I am able to edit the MTEXT which does recognize the alt codes. I use alt codes for various symbols and now have to edit leader MTEXT each time in order for the symbols to be recognized. Is there a toggle or some other setting in later versions of AutoCAD that would allow recognition of alt codes at the command line?

Floating command line width gets shorter and shorter everytime you open up AutoCAD? Civil 3D is real bad, I used it to shoot the above video. In regular AutoCAD, it still shrinks, but it shrinks a lot less.
Any tips for keeping it floating but making the width stay constant?
We are having slow keyboard response while typing in CAD 2010. (It happened a little while using 09 as well). We will start typing a command and our cursor will get ahead of what we're trying to type. Our dynamic input is OFF.
View 3 Replies View Related When drafting either in model space or paperspace, eventually either the command line disappears completely "OR" the command line area increases and prevents me from seeing the tab sheets for accessing paperspace "OR" the mouse arrow gets stuck outside of the drawing area. This is the most non-productive program here after all these years (the worst version ever)
I either have to do one of the following, in order, hopefully to achieve being able to continue to draft;
1. double click the 2D Wireframe in the upper LH corner of the drawing plane.
2. envoke "Task Manager" but then cancel.
3. turn off the Autocad program and start over.
An example is when I'm drawing a box, line etc and attempt to type "@5,-5", AutoCAD somehow jumps to a window on the side and if I don't notice will restore the window I'm working in and not complete the command I typed ("@5,-5" in this case). If I do notice in time, then I have to pres ESC about 3-4 times, which will then have me back on the command line with the text "@5,-" already typed (as if that was were I paused while typing??). The attached picture shows the dialog box on the top left, and the command line as if I've only typed "@", when after pressing ESC as mentioned the full "@5,-" text becomes visible on the command line?
Also, as a note: I've already ruled out that I'm pressing other keys that could possibly cause this...

When I use the distance command and pick the first point the rubber band line doesn't appear and then when I pick the second point I get a distance, but I have no way of knowing exactly where the points I picked landed.
I saw another post about the rubber band being black against the black background, but that is not the problem.
When I turn Otrack on I get the rubber band, but I don't like Otrack on because it causes other problems. How to get the rubber band to work the way it did before?
Is there a way to select a number if not all objects in a drawing and then change the properties (specifically color) from the command line i.e. without a dialog window?

With the command window displayed at the bottom of the screen, everything slows down. The cursor momentarily freezes and it takes a second or two for commands to be fulfilled. Also, the command window is about 7 lines high; in the past, I have shrunk it to maybe 3 or 4 lines but I cannot shrink this wndow.
Then, when I push control-9 and the window disappears, everything speeds up to normal!
I tried turning off my internet connection and my McAfee Viruscan as well. Running without the command window makes it hard to draft. Since I type shortcuts, I figure I must have hit the wrong key and unleashed something unspeakably terrible.
I am running AutoCAD version 10 on my PC, with Windows XP Professional.
I am having an issue with the sheet set manager's tool to insert sheet list table. I have a new sheet set for a new project that was created entirely in Autocad 2012. When I try to insert a new sheet list table, after I click OK in the Sheet list Table dialoge box, it simply closes to an empty command line with nothing inserted. Why nothing is inserted?

I press CTRL+9 to make the Command Line disappear while drawing. When I plot (or when doing a plot preview) , the Command Line appears again by itself. So I always have to turn the Command Line off manually after each plot
The bug still happens;
- if Dynamic Input is turned off or on
- if I plot to a real device or in PDF
- if the Cammand Line Palette i docked or floating.
This is not an issue in AutoCAD 2012 so I guess it has to do with the new way they programmed the revamped Command Line palette in 2013.

line command is a multiple command. there is a way to execute it like a single command?

Basically I got a process which is quite long , let's say 30 seconds.
I want put a counter at command line showing to
user how many objects has been processed so far. But I don't want to use New Line Feed to change the line and keep each new number at same line and same location of command line.
is there a setting that i can have whatever i scan automatically open up in gimp when i scan it...? it would save maybe 2 steps in my daily drill.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have, at present, set Camera Raw to open files as ProPhoto RGB and as 360 dpi. I want to keep all options open for later use of the files (for albums or enlargements). How do I get the best results so that I do not diminish the quality obtained in the scanning process (where I try to use only ICE and to leave all other editing to PS later - I know that the changes made by ICE are permanent so that I already here do not have a real RAW - but it is my impression that the choice of RAW over TIFF in the scanning is still worth it).
I have also some older scans but these are TIFF's, also 4000 dpi but only 8 bit. I want to get the best result from both types of files.
I plan to perform all edits before I finally save files in various print sizes. I am still quite scared as to make mistakes when resizing so that I get an inferior quality in the new size. I, of course, keep a copy of the original scans safe and unedited. I am also in doubt as to whether I should go directly into PS or via Camera Raw with the scans.
So I just finally updated my OS and my Photoshop and just encountered something I wasn't expecting. I have an Epson GT15000 scanner(big one with a feeder) I installed all the drivers and everything and the scanner works fine, but I can't seem to open the scanner from Photoshop to scan directly into the program. I can open the scanner independently and scan it to a saved file and then open it in photoshop. But it only has limited file type options so I'm basically forced to save it as one file so that I can then open it in photoshop and resave it as something else which is kinda a rediculous in between step and also leaves me with extra files that need to be deleted. Since the scanner itself hasn't changed and still functions the same otherwise I'm assuming it's because I'm using a new version of Photoshop. I'm also assuming that I actually can scan in the program, just not in the way that I'm used to. I used to go to import, and the scanner would appear on the menu for me to select it.

I have a VB.NET add-in for Inventor, for a particular piece of code I want the mouse cursor to change to the windows default wait cursor while executing the code. I know how to do this in Excel VBA (Application.Cursor = xlWait). But I cannot seem to find an equivalent for Inventor.
