I'm trying to record a movie of a visibility check drive from an alignment.
I can record a movie of the drive along my alignment using the action recorder but I would like to record to a file that can be played in a windows media player.
Is this even possible?
I just took a screenshot of this movie playing in WMP. Then I pasted it into Photoshop. Now.. when I move it around, it only moves the top part: WMP, my desktop etc.. But the movie part stays in the same spot. The samething happens when I zoom in, it doesn't get any bigger. I can't get the part with the movie though. I saved it as bmp and jpg but it doesn't show up..
View 2 Replies View RelatedSome of the movies I've been creating play OK in Windows Media Player but when you try and skip to a later part of the movie by holding and moving the toggle bar there is a 'Windows Media Player has a problem playing the movie' error. All the videos are the correct length and file size. Is there a problem with the files and would it affect how they play on Vimeo? Do I need to do them again? What can I do differently?
I have been creating movies with the following properties:
MPEG-4 Files
24 bits, 1280 x 720, 25 fps
Frame-based
H.264 Main Profile Video: 5000 Kbps
44100 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo
MPEG AAC Audio: 128 Kbps
The source files are:
PAL (25 fps)
Microsoft AVI files
24 bits, 720 x 576, 16:9, 25 fps
Lower Field First
Matrox DV/DVCAM -- type 2
PCM, 48.000 kHz, 16 Bit, Stereo
I'm using Video Studio Pro X5 trial version.
I get messages that my media player will not read the video tutorials.

This is on a PC laptop with Window Vista Home.
How can I get to the library in the Windows Media Player to select a song?
Looking everywhere in docs for info on how to make the record player larger without losing view of the timeline.

I checked my computer for some viruses that might infect my computer. After a full scan, there was no virus found. I reinstalled VLC and same error persisted when opening a file.
I'm using Video Studio Pro X4. I'm just trying to make a simple, first movie and failing. I have a Sony HD Handycam that produces .m2ts files. I just want to be able to create HD movies that I can play on generic software on my tv. So I assumed I could create an MPG file and play it using Windows Media Player 11. After rendering an MPG file, I get no audio output.
- I imported the .m2ts files into VS
- Put two short clips in the timesline.
- Basic transition.
- Share -> Create Video File -> HDV (tried all options)
- I create the MPG file and I get no sound on playback using Media Player
I would think this is the most basic thing I could possibly be doing and it doesn't work. I am using an underpowered XP laptop, but I would think that would just be a speed issue. I'll get a better desktop for editing, but if I can't perform the most basic of tasks now I'm thinking it's a software issue.
i am using 3ds max design 2011 for making architectural walk through s,i usually render the frame at 740*576 size(300 dpi)and save as tiff sequence.then i will make avi file in after effects(with out any compression). After that when i play the whole movie,the movie will not go smoothly its getting jerks.what the wrong i am doing.i tried with 15 frames per sec and 30 frames per sec.

View 4 Replies View RelatedWhile changing the media drive in Smoke setup via commenting out the current drive isn't a complicated process, I personally would find a more streamlined option useful. Something on the startup screen would be great: select project, user, media drive. When using FW800 drives, I typically try to have a discreet project drive that has everything on there for the current project. With the larger Thunderbolt raids, I am going back a little to the old system of having active storage and archive storage. However, when thunderbolt prices come down, I'll most likely have a separate drive for each project again.

Is it possible to capture video using Premiere Pro (or any other program from the Adobe Creative Suite) directly from my dvd player on my PC or my superdrive? If not, how can I capture video from DVDs? These are not copyright protected DVDs. They are copies on DVD of on-camera work I have done that I would like to digiitize to make a demo reel.

View 13 Replies View RelatedHaving a strange issue with a 6TB OWC Mercury Elite Pro Dual. I can't get the drive to work in Media Browser in Mavericks OS-X. It shows up in Finder and if I click on "Local Drives" in Media Browser it is there but I cannot access it. I've tried connecting it via Thunderbolt and USB3 and no luck either way. Oddly enough, it works fine via USB3 on my PC. I've tried it on a MacBook Pro and a 2013 MacPro and it's a bust on both. I'm running the latest versions of Mavericks and Premiere Pro CC. What might be tripping up Media Browser or if there's a way I should reformat the drive. Currently it is Raid 0, Mac OS Extended (Journaled)).

I installed AutoCAD 2011 on my Laptop. It's dual boot (Windows7 32bit and Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 64Bit)
When I start AutoCAD 2011 it seems that AutoCAD modify my Master Boot Record
so the Grub Bootloader dosn't work anymore and I have to reinstall the Grub Bootloader.
I can reproduce this behaviour and it's definitly AutoCAD 2011.
I have LR 5.2 and I move files off onto a removable drive as a back-up and it allows me to share the pictures with them when they sometimes lose them. Windows 7 routinely assigns the drive to the letter M:, N:, and sometime P: and apparently I cannot see the folders unless the drive is assigned the same letter as it was when I imported the pictures into the catalog. The folders don’t even show up in the library, but if I do an import all of the folders appear as valid destinations within LR. How can I fix this? The first picture is a screen shot of the library; notice that the year 2013 is missing. The second screen shot is what appears when I go to import; note that 2013 appears. The folders simply do not appear in LR except when I attempt import.
When I look at N: in my “working catalog” it shows it as having catalog “AUMC” but the folders in it belong to the part of my working catalog that I have moved to a different external drive since they’re old picture I don’t use much. They all have question marks, but they are resolved with I attach the external drive with those folders on it.

I tried to install the trial version of cs3 from the adobe website, but after I installed the setup part and started downloading the actual program, it said it downloaded 1 shared component but it couldn't download the actual CS3 program.
My computer says I'm using:

P.S. - If CS3 isn't compatible with Windows XP Media Center Edition, is Photoshop CS2? I had CS2 on my old computer, which was one of the Windows XP (can't remember which one, but it had service pack 2) but I would like to download CS2 or preferrably CS3 on my new computer.
I'm new to AutoCad 360 but I'm finding it impossible to find link to Xrefs on the 360 drive - I'm logged in and can see the files in Windows explorer but can't link them into the file... It means I have to work from different locations which is a nightmare for co-ordination.

If we have 'visibility action' beside 'visibility set' maybe it will make thing better, when use it with lookup table. Each visibility action can has it's own set of objects. Put actions in lookup table to hide and show the set combined with them.
I have this block (see attachment) with three attributes and a visibility parameter that I want to hide one, two or all attributes. It works well while I'm in the block editor but it will not work properly when used in the drawing. The option of "Point only" does not hide all attributes of some reason.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a drawing which has 3 viewports in it, two of the viewports are ok but with the third one when i try to have a leader from it to a text box outside the viewport in paperspace, the section of the leader within the viewport is blanked out,. I have tried bringing the leader to the front and sending the viewport to the back along with regenning the drawing to no avail. the leader works ok with the other two viewports no issue there but with the third one it just will not work. The viewport is used for viewing a location using a raster map image and it does show the leader / line object when zoomed out and disappears again when the line goes over the raster image.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIn Inventor dwgs when I turn the visibility of the harness assembly off (the icon turns gray) the harness still remains visible in the View on the dwg. My co-worker is having the same problem. This is happening on several different inventor dwgs where the harness is not visible (the visibility is turned off) but once an edit is made to the assembly (such as making a part visible) the harness becomes visible even the the visibility is turned off in that View. I don't know if this is related to the recent installation of service pack 4 for inventor 2010 as this problem recently began occurring.
