I would like to add text to my dimension but as I have overridden my FONTALT variable it does not display. The dimension on the LHS is exactly the same as the one on the RHS (during edit). Neither will display the text I want which in this instance is WEB.

Is it possible to suppress alternate dimensions below a certain value? I would like my dimensioning to be set up as follows.....
everything above 8 feet
97 1/2" [8'-1 1/2"]
everything below 8 feet
94 3/4"

I am using this code to automatcally fill out my iproperties but the material name is not exactly what I want it to say. iProperties.Value("Project", "Description")=iProperties.Material
I'd like it so that any time it sees Steel, Mild it replaces it with the text "A36"

I'm new to the adobe family and I'm working on a design for one of my friends and he came across a look he was wanting. The problem is I cant figure out how to get the text that is overlapping to alternate from in front to behind and so on and so forth.

When looking at the properties the text is NOT shown as upside down or backward and my text style is set to Standard and has not changed. This problem is isolated to the current drawing. If I open a new drawing text is entered correctly.

Then I put the cursor on a grip and see a window open that gives me the options of Stretching a vertex, Adding a vertex, or Removing a vertex. I made a drop down menu for offset commands back on a 2010 version. I wish to bring it over but I'm having a bit of trouble. I have read through and watched a few videos and they all tell me the same thing. Go into the CUI, click on Load Partial Customized File. I do this, select my cui file and I get an error that says:
Partial customization file cannot have the same Customization Group Name as the main customization file.
The name of my file is OFFSET MENU. I'm running 2012 version and I have finally gotten almost everything setup except for this.
How do I add the ribbon to 2010? I just have pull downs and tool bars.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI checked a couple of old posts looking for a lisp routine that will count the number of lines and list each different length either in a dialog box or txt file. I am working on an estimate and I have a floor plan of owsj of different lengths. I downloaded the tlen.lsp but that is only giving the total number of joists and the total length.
I am looking for a lisp so that I can window all the owsj at once and have it list or show the result for the joist in this manner
sample output:
xx joists = 10'-0"
xx joists = 20'-0"
xx joists = 30'-0"
Is there a way that I can add multiple polylines in feet and inches? I downloaded some lisp routines, but they are not in feet and inches.

Text nexer is visible on the photo Background image. If the edited image is saved, the added typed text is not saved; only the original Background image. While adding text and applying (experimenting) various "Effects" with the text, I used the garbage can icon to remove the "Effect", thinking it is going to remove the 'Effect" from the text, until I realized I had to remove the "Effect" with the edit button, not the garbage can. Have I now permanently removed the various "Effects" permanently or just off the screen? How do I regain them back onto the menu column? How many "Effects" should be visible in order to have the complete set? This was my first experiment with the lettering effects and hope I haven't lost them forever.

We currently restrict access to the .ctb files as they can be alterered leading to problems for everyone printing. Is there a way to create another path so they we can have a locked folder of .ctb files and an unlocked folder for .ctb files.
