View 2 RepliesI don't know what is happening, everything is ok except the floor has this "pink noise" parts, I only have one vray light outside the window and several (less powerful lights) above the board.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have been trying to set up another computer to render in vray by distributing render. I have followed various online tutorials showing exactly how to set it up but to no avail. When i render it says "could not connect to host 192.168.... no connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it". I have 64 bit running on my main pc with 32bit on my slave, vray 2.0 and 3ds max design 2012 on both machines, both pc's can see each other, on the same workgroup and backburner works. I have vray set up properly and vray spawner started although no icon appears in the taskbar as some say it should.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have been trying to render my linked files in Cloud. For some reasons the linked files walls are misplaced in the drawing. Please take a look at the attached file.
What I have tried to do to resolve the problem and have not worked:
1.Reloded the links.
2.Created new camera views.Â
3.Tried to use RVT Link Display Settings and rendered with both 'by host view' and by 'linked view'
4.In proprties; tried to use the different Dicipline Settings.
5.Tried to use the different settings in Manage Links to either attachment/overlay under Reference Type or absolute/relative under Path Type.Â
I'm using Revit 2014.
I think I'm pretty close to understanding how to get realistic interior lighting with nice soft shadows etc. However, I can't figure out how to get the sun & sky background to stop putting all these spots on my walls!
I previously made a version using 1000 "rays" for "Final Gather" and it looks a bit better....but it's still spotty.
How to get genuine soft shadows sans spots from the sun & sky background?
I've played with every parameter I can think of, but nothing smooths out the spots even a little bit.

What Revit 2012 setting makes walls and floors disappear when rendering is selected?
Â
I have a Revit 8.1 project that renderes the model just fine. When I import it into Revit 2010 it also remders the model but I have to reassign the custom finishes. But when I upgrade it to 2012 and render - the walls and floors are suddenly missing!
See attachment.
Half way through my trial of Photoshop CS5 it stopped rendering hexidecimal colours correctly. If i take a background colour from my css page and put it in the colour picker, use it to border a photo and put that image back into the background it stands out like a sore thumb. This was not the case earlier in the trial, everything rendered fine. I have tried dozens of times to get it to work and i've checked everything i can think of, it still will not render the colour correctly. My operating system is Windows 7 on a Lenovo Thinkpad.what is going on and how to fix it.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI moved from Windows to Mac. Today I imported a set of photos from my camera to my disk. After rendering all of my photos became B&W (LR4 changed color treatment of my RAW files). It surprised me a lot. I did it again and again. All my photos are B&W. I have to change color treatment in all of them. I would prefer my old importing scheme (photos are color after rendering). I did not use any preset and all oprions were as usual (only changed a name of photos).
Â
I noticed that LR4 changed a few other options: decreased highlights by 100, increased shadow by 100, increased clarity by 50, changed tone curve to strong contrast, increase sharpening to 100, noise reduction to 40, and so on. Increadible! How can I came back to my way of importing?
I am currently using Autocad Architecture 2010 and would like to change the rendering options if possible. I have drawn something and can view it in realistic style, but when I render it, the lighting comes into play and everything looks too light. What I would like to know is how could I render my drawing in realistic view so that the rendering reflects what is on my screen in model space? Or realistic sketchy view for that matter?Â

For instance, in the model I'm working on, in the model, the object is blue, when I render it, it's grey. Is there a setting I need to change?

The original colour is d8d7d4 and i want to change it to d8d7d3. I can use fill etc but everyattempt so far has left the edge looking naff. i want to keep the sharpness but by just replacing the image colour! theres probably been numerous emails like this before but i cant follow them or its for a different approach, the feathered edge.
Is there a way to change the background layer colour once you've started a document?
When I first created my document (in PS CS2, if that makes a difference) it automatically set my background colour as sepia, instead of white.
I'm now working on a painting and just realised that I can't use white; PS is calling this sepia colour white, and I can't get anything lighter.
Is there a way to fix this? I've done it on a few pictures now and I don't want to have to start everything over.
I've just tried making a new document with a white background layer and the same thing still happens! What is this?! I'm sure this can't be right! I'm on some sort of sepia scale; I can't even do grays. *desperate*
how change brushes to paint in colour. I have downloaded quite a number and the screen shots before you download them show them in colour but when you go to use them they are all grey scale.

I am getting horrendous colour shifts when saving to a jpg in photoshop. It looks OK in photoshop when I open it, but when viewed anywhere else it is brutal. I included screenshots of my colour settings and I am working to sRGB and embedding that profile when I save, so I am at a loss as to why it shifted so much.
