Xara :: Import PDF Files To XDPX (8) (Windows XP SP 3) Shows With CMYK Colours
Jun 30, 2013When I import some PDF-files to XDPX (8) (Windows XP SP 3) it shows with CMYK colours. That means that I can't use the material as all colours are "wrong".
Is there a way of importing PDF-files so that they show with RGB colours?
Could that be an option in forthcoming versions; that you can select to import either as CMYK or RGB?

Dec 6, 2012I am running Xara Designer Pro X and there is a problem with my RGB-module.
The problem is that I need to have a color with the data R 241 G 145 B 27 (kind of orange).But, when I enter the data the color module converts it to percent (%) and the color is definitely not orange.
How do I make Xara RGB-color module understand that I don't want to use percent?
Photoshop :: Import Videos In CS6 Only Half The Frame Shows Up?
Jul 12, 2013I had to factory restore my computer and reinstalled CS6 and now when I use Photoshop to import videos only half the frame of the video shows up. The top half is completely missing.
I tried uninstalling PS and reinstalling it again but I'm still having this error. It's always worked before, now I'm not sure what to do.

Aug 20, 2012I have bought a new iMac (OS Lion) and am manually migrating all my stuff from an older Mac G5 tower (OS Tiger). I have installed the Canon 5600F scanner software and did an upgrade from the Canon site and all seems to be working well. I also downloaded a new (old one was not recognised) TWAIN plugin from Adobe and put it in the Photoshop C4 plugins folder marked Import-Export. My problem is that in Photoshop it is showing the 5600F scanner in the Import menu but does nothing when I click on it. I have rebooted everything but it does nothing.

When it's time for me to export each page as a JPEG or PNG, it's really frustrating that each and every time I have to tell Xara to save the Page, NOT the default Page Content. Jun 25, 2011I have managed to create a hyperlink from an image, to another page on my site. For some reason I am not able to create a link for some other images and I do not know why. Aug 16, 2011I just tried to fill a page with black-filled hexagons so that they are all aligned perfectly vertically and horizontally. I duplicated and positioned as best I could by hand. Then, I used Alignment>equispace on horiz row selections then vert selections. No matter what I do, it will never be perfect with hand placement, obviously.
Is there a way to fill a page with the hexagons so that it looks like the attachment (ie everything perfectly squared in respect to the page)? I would need perfectly uniform spaces between the shapes so that it comes out perfectly squared with the page. This would be the first step I need to do in making a seamlessly tiled alpha for ZBrush.

Sep 13, 2011I am using Xara Xtreme 5.1. I am trying to add a new page to my file. Its the first time I have attempt to create a new page. At each attempt it duplicates the 1st page and all its layers. I have unchecked the boxes in the Page Options: Page Size: Document: "All pages in the document the same" and "same layers on all pages in document " and pressed "Apply" . I have tried afresh we a brand new file and yet cannot prevent the duplications.

Feb 28, 2013I am trying to import the coordinates for an airfoil into Autocad 2011.
I tried the command "spline" and paste the coordinates and "pline" + paste; the result consists of two straight, collinear lines.That's not going to fly.
I tried to set the "units" in meters and the precision to 0.000000 thinking the values were too small and had been rounded which lead to the lack of curvature but the result was the same; then I reduced the number of points but to no use.
Lightroom :: Import Only Shows Gray Boxes In Library Grid View
Oct 30, 2012I run a HP DV6 Laptop with Core I7 and Windows 7. While editing my photos my computer appeared to over heat (which is a recurring issue that I'm working to resolve) during mid-post production. Upon restarting my computer, and when I accessed the same photos, I got a very lengthy loading icon when I clicked on a photo under the "Develop" tab. This problem recurred and in attempt to resolve the problem I decided to delete the library and re-import the files. Upon re-import, I cannot view all the photos in the library grid view. I'm not sure if my files are now corrupt from the sudden crash or is it just a data issue with LR?

Xara :: Print Objects Larger Than Page
Feb 9, 2011I am feeling a bit dumb at the moment. How does one print something larger than the "physical" page size--ie., tiled pages--in Designer Pro 6?
I have a drawing that is 3 times the length of US letter size (actual size of the drawing is 7.5" x 30"). US letter size is 8.5" x 11". The page is defined as landscape, so 11" width, 8.5" height.
I regularly do this using another program and will have constant need to do so in the future.

Feb 5, 2011I have just switched to using Xara Photo and Graphic Designer 6 for my graphics design needs. Is there any way to create a default page size so that no matter when the program is opened it will always open up to that particular page size?
I am used to working and creating on a full "blank canvas" or pasteboard, rather than using page sizes that Xara seems to prefer. Every time I open the program I have to return to page options to re-set all of my workspace parameters and it gets frustrating after awhile.
For example, my preferred page settings are as follows: Page Size=A0 (which provides me all white space to work in); Outer Margin=0in [8in is always automatically pre-set by the program]; and I always choose Landscape, but the automatic pre-set is always Portrait.
There should be a way for the user to control how the workspace appears each time the program is opened, but how to make my page settings "once" and then have those settings be the default from there on out. It's just time consuming to go into Options every time I open the program and have to re-set everything all over again.

I always hold the Shift Key and scroll the mouse button to manoevre the page where I want it, but would much prefer if it appeared there in the first place. Jul 26, 2011If you have a multipage document such as the plans for a house you can have a different scale factor on each page if you turn off "All pages in document the same" in the Options dialog's "Page Size" tab.
Then you can set different scales on different pages. E.g. 1:100 for house floor plans and 1:500 for site layout plans.
