Edge Animate CC :: How To Embed HTML Code Into A Website
Sep 26, 2013Ok so Im trying to embed html code into a website. I created an animation on edge, but after i publish i cant use the final publish link to just link embed. Because my isp has inbound ports blocked.
Anyway my question - Is there a way to just take the code from all the files and paste it into the website ?
If so, how would I organize the code, so it worked correctly ?

Jan 12, 2013I have put together some ilogic code which is embedded within a part template, this auto populates the iproperties with the profiles length,width and thickness, and also automatically updates when any changes are made to the said profile When I hit save.
This works a treat when creating new parts, the problem arises when re-using old parts from previous jobs (Which is a regular occurrence),prior to when the code was created.
So I have to run the code as an external rule, but this has caught me,and a few other people out, as we have forgotten to run the rule after making a change to the part so the iproperties aren't automatically updated.
My question is, is there a snippet of code that I could add to my code, which embeds the the externally ran rule to the Ipt?
Xara :: Propagating Object Changes From One Page To Every Other Page?
Jan 16, 2011Does Xara Designer support the ability to change one object on for example page 1, and that the change propagates to all the same objects on all other pages? I'm doing a lot of web design work, so this would be quite handy, but I haven't found a way to do that.

Xara :: Error Code-6 When Trying To Run Designer Pro 7
Sep 16, 2011When I try to run Xara Designer Pro 7 I get a window popup that tell me "The program could not be started. It's possible that the installation folder is damaged." with the error code: -6
No matter what I try I get that error. I tried with a new doawnloaded file, with the file from the CD, after to have removed files on the Intel SSD or hard drives, and keys in the registry (but maybe i missed some!). I also tried with or without system protections/firewall/antivirus as well with or without administrator rights.
My system is Windows 7 64 bits with Xara designer pro 7.1.1.

I have been watching the recordings, but the codes seem so long.

Jul 16, 2013I am getting Error Code -6 with both the 64 and 32 bit installers. They install correctly but fail when I run Xara. I uninstalled and used CCcleaner in the middle, and rebooted, and deleted the folder in programdata. I am using Windows 8, Norton IS 2013. XD Pro is running fine.

Apr 16, 2013When I'm working on a design for which I'm generating options, like a logo, I usually work with one Xara file and a new page for each option. When it's time for me to export each page as a JPEG or PNG, it's really frustrating that each and every time I have to tell Xara to save the Page, NOT the default Page Content. I'm thinking there should be a way for Xara to remember and repeat my last export settings, but I can't find it...

Aug 16, 2011I just tried to fill a page with black-filled hexagons so that they are all aligned perfectly vertically and horizontally. I duplicated and positioned as best I could by hand. Then, I used Alignment>equispace on horiz row selections then vert selections. No matter what I do, it will never be perfect with hand placement, obviously.
Is there a way to fill a page with the hexagons so that it looks like the attachment (ie everything perfectly squared in respect to the page)? I would need perfectly uniform spaces between the shapes so that it comes out perfectly squared with the page. This would be the first step I need to do in making a seamlessly tiled alpha for ZBrush.

At each attempt it duplicates the 1st page and all its layers. Feb 9, 2011I am feeling a bit dumb at the moment. How does one print something larger than the "physical" page size--ie., tiled pages--in Designer Pro 6?
I have a drawing that is 3 times the length of US letter size (actual size of the drawing is 7.5" x 30"). US letter size is 8.5" x 11". The page is defined as landscape, so 11" width, 8.5" height.
I regularly do this using another program and will have constant need to do so in the future.

After PDF export done page size is A4 with my rectangle drawing instead page size with my rectangle size. How can I export to PDF selected rectangle with rectangle page size?

Feb 5, 2011I have just switched to using Xara Photo and Graphic Designer 6 for my graphics design needs. Is there any way to create a default page size so that no matter when the program is opened it will always open up to that particular page size?
I am used to working and creating on a full "blank canvas" or pasteboard, rather than using page sizes that Xara seems to prefer. Every time I open the program I have to return to page options to re-set all of my workspace parameters and it gets frustrating after awhile.
For example, my preferred page settings are as follows: Page Size=A0 (which provides me all white space to work in); Outer Margin=0in [8in is always automatically pre-set by the program]; and I always choose Landscape, but the automatic pre-set is always Portrait.
There should be a way for the user to control how the workspace appears each time the program is opened, but how to make my page settings "once" and then have those settings be the default from there on out. It's just time consuming to go into Options every time I open the program and have to re-set everything all over again.

I always hold the Shift Key and scroll the mouse button to manoevre the page where I want it, but would much prefer if it appeared there in the first place. Jul 26, 2011If you have a multipage document such as the plans for a house you can have a different scale factor on each page if you turn off "All pages in document the same" in the Options dialog's "Page Size" tab.
Then you can set different scales on different pages. E.g. 1:100 for house floor plans and 1:500 for site layout plans.
