My installation does not recognize the EasyCap adapter (nothing shows on "Select Device" menu). I have re-installed and downloaded 64 bit drivers from the net with no effect. Running Vista Home Premium 64 bit, SP2.

I've tried making the USB audio input my default mic, and clicking the listen to this mic, and gotten as far as hearing the video sound as I capture. But still no playback sound. Even tried switching back to speakers for playback.

Many of the transition effects have a green color. Is there a way to change mulitples at a time or is the only way to do one at a time? I'd rather use a more neutral color than bright kelly green.
View 3 Replies View RelatedTrying to convert video footage on VHS video to AVI files which I can burn to DVD disc. I bought EasyCap and installed it along with Ulead Video Studio. The program seems to be running OK, the device appears to have been installed OK. I connected the VHS recorder to the Easy Cap device with the Scart to RCS lead supplied with it. When I go to capture video, nothing happens, apart from the clock starting. The screen remains blank and no video is recorded.

I am trying to apply a torque to an adapter to replicate it being driven. I have constrained it and when I add the welds and simulate, it freezes at the 'computing mesh' stage.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded my 3 year old Dell XPS 16 which came with a AMD (ATI) Radeon HD 5730 (1GB) graphics card to Windows 8 (along with a new SSD hard drive), and reinstalled CS6, and now I get messages that the program is no longer detecting my dedicated graphics card. I updated the drivers from both Dell and AMD, and I get the same result.The Graphics Processor Seting box is greyed out in Preferences, and it says it detected an error in my display driver. Everything was fine with the same graphics card under Windows 7.
I suspect that when Windows 8 was installed it installed a generic AMD driver, and even though I have updated it from Dell and AMD several times, something is not quite right because I can't find the AMD Catalyst Control Center. So it might be a WIndows 8 & AMD issue, but I don't really know for sure.

I've been using cad for a while but only for simple layout drawing for parts I need made.
Autocad 2010 I want to set up a drawing to draw some manifold adapter plates in millimeters. I can set it up for inches but I'm having a problem setting up for mm. I start a new drawing and select the template initial setup-manufacturing-metric.dwt In drawing unitDecimal and precision is set at 0.000 Units is set to "millimeters"
I draw a circle to test it. I draw a circle of 5 radius. Should be a circle 10mm in dia, correct? But it is huge, my guess is that it's 10 inches. I'm basing the size on what is printed out when I set my print to no scaling, 1:1, plot window. The same as I have for all the drawings I do in inches.
Second question.
How can I get circle centers to show on prints without actually drawing them or putting in dimensions?
I am trying to use iMates names to place a hydraulic adapter into an assembly. The adapter has two male ends - one end with an insert iMate matching a cylinder iMate and one end with an insert iMate matching the hose fitting. When placing the adapter, the iMate names are ignored and it is mated backwards using inferred iMates.
Also, I get an error because it wants to mate new instances of the part to the unconsumed iMate of the part that was just placed (which I guess would place parts into infinity). I have changed around the iMate names and matching names every way I can think of, but the names still are ignored, and it uses other deferred iMates.
I have CS5 and wonder if there is a SIMPLE way to check to see if it needs any updates since the newer software version of Apple was applied to my computer. The website seems extremely confusing unless you know exactly what you need and what you are looking for. Photoshop has begun to run slower on my IMAC.

Have a quick and hopefully easy question for ya'll. Looking at making some color changes to a picture, and have easily been able to change colors using hue/saturation and turning reb to blue, etc. The problem that I've run into now is how do I change something that is black in a picture into being able to change the color on that. In essence I am trying to take an object that is currently red and black and flip the colors to be black and red. The is quite a bit of detail in the image that I need to keep also. Any hints are extremely welcome.

I have Photoshop elements 2.0 for mac and have read your "Making round corner rectangles in Photoshop" I think that Elements must not have the this option. I'm missing the paths (Create Work Paths Tool) (Vector Shape tool) Everytime I use the "rounded Corners Rectangle tool" It makes rounded corners but it does it in reverse.
I takes away the middle of my photos instead of the outside of the photos. I can't seem to reverse this or invert it. I tried clicking in invert and nothing happens. It just always takes away the center of the photo.
What can I do???

View 9 Replies View RelatedI've been using Maya for a little while, and have often found manipulating vertices frustrating.
The problem is that - as far as I can tell - I need to select a vertex before manipulating it. This is annoying because I have to click a vertex and then click and drag it again to actually move it (not so easy on a tablet). Also, if I'm off by even a slight amount, I click the object instead and I pop out of vertex selection mode and back into object selection mode.
I could simply click once and drag to move vertices and if there was no vertex under my mouse when I clicked, I wouldn't accidentally select an entirely different object.
i would like to build one of these domes in my backyard and id like to be able to make simple plans to use. how would i go about drawing one of these up or is there a simple command like sphere or torus that would start me out? URL....

View 7 Replies View RelatedI use Coreldraw x3 for cutting vinyl to put on shirts and windows ect. I cut on 14" and 24" rolls of vinyl. To save vinyl I make a rectangle in corel at 14x25" or 24x25" and then I put the graphics in that rectangle as snug as I can to make sure I conserve as much vinyl as possible.
I am wondering if there is a way to select my rectangle and the art that I want to piece into it and have the program automatically fill up the space as sparingly as possible. This would save me a lot of time and it would probably be more efficient for saving vinyl because corel would know the optimal way to piece the art in.
The pic on the right shows what I'd like to change. Problem is the borders can be tedious to do one line at a time. That is brush set at 1 pixel wide-dark gray. Then draw one map line. Then change to light gray to do center of line then draw right next to other line without messing alignment up. Then finally going back to dark gray to draw once again to other side of border line.
What would take a pro 5 minutes because he would know the shortcuts would take me hours to do these map changes. So could anyone tell me how to create a custom brush 3 pixels wide that would have the center pixel be lighter gray while the outer 2 pixels of line would be darker. I know how to use color picker to match with what's already in the game so you could skip that. I would just like to know how to create a custom brush that could do multiple colors in one stroke. I'm using XP and CS2 BTW. If anyone would like the targa files that make up these 3 regions in the game to mess around with I will send them.
If you have Designer Pro 9 you can easily create custom keyboard shortcuts and assign a single keystroke to the Mask Painter tool and the Eraser tool. This makes switching between them while prepping a photo for background removal much easier.
I've been using A for the Mask Painter and X for the Eraser Tool, I find that these work nicely and shift will toggle between adding to or removing from the mask or erasure. I also use the spacebar to pan while I'm prepping.
Our current setup is like this. We plot our plan sheets (ARCH D/ARCH E) from paper space. There are typically 2 to 10 of these sheets.We plot our plant production sheets (Legal size sheets) from model space. There can be anywhere from 10 to 500 or even 1000 of these sheets. These can be cumbersome to print as we click previous plot and select a window around each new sheet we print.
How to be able to print multiple sheets in model space with one click as long as it had a certain title block rectangle around it.
