Program simply does not open. Thus I can not get a serial number. And you can not post a question on the web site without it. I did register the product, but my account only shows the Corel Paint program not the Video one. Both came bundled with my laptop.
Now I have more videos I want to edit. So I tried to use Video Studio and it does not open nor give any warning messages, as to why not.
I've installed PS6 on my computer and it simply won't open. I get an error message that says it needs to close. I've reinstalled, ran a virus scan and tried to take my computer back to an earlier time....nothing.

While recently using my photoshop CS program, my computer crashed. When trying to open photoshop back up, the program locks up and the registration box in middle and tool box (upper left) turn all white. The hour glass symbol pops up and the Adobe Photoshop in the top left corner says (not responding).

Since upgrading to Mavericks anytime i try to open files by going to file,open it says "Could not complete your request because of a program error".. All the sudden, today, without any changes being made in my computer (iMAC IOS 10.9) the software stopped opening files when I went FILE/OPEN and selecting the file to open (jpg). CS6 opens "finder" and then quickly the finder window disappears (so no time to make any selection,,this is not related to a type of file since...I can never get to even select one..) and the message "Could not complete your request because of a program error". The only option is to click OK and that is it.
I now need to go and open finder and then navigate through to the file and the right click and choose Open with CS6 (anf the file opens)..
Working on a client job, I created a photoshop cs6 document. Now I can't open the document anymore. Program error message.I always make different versions when working on a job. When I have to make an important change I save a new version of my work. All the previous versions won't open either.
I still have my Photoshop cs5 installed on my computer. Tried that and it worked. All the files open in cs5 but won't open in cs6.I remember taking some work home where I have cs4 running on the laptop.

All the files are listed in WE and not empty. This happened recently after I have used the program a few years. Do I need to reinstall the program? If so, will the catalog have to be recreated? I'm trying to import from an SD card, and when I hit the LR desktop icon for the app, I get a small window asking me to "CHoose a Different Catalogue" or "Create a New Cataloague. The "Open" button is greyed-out. The large "Select a recent catalogue" window is empty. When I go the the SD card under my computer, all I can do is open it to a folder containing the images, and the only option is "Save", not "Open". But nothing happens when I hit the Save button.
View 3 Replies View RelatedIn Video Studio X3, it seems impossible to paste text copied from another program onto a Title page. I want to do this since I have 16 stanzas of poetry that I want to insert, each on its own page, or story board.
If in fact I cannot paste text, is there a format that I can use to save each stanza on a page separately in another program that I can import into one part of this program? Maybe in a particular file extension as a snapshot, video, etc.?
It would seem ridiculous to not be able to import a text document. Do I have to type everything out from scratch?

PS: Using Corel VideoStudio X5.
Just upgraded from X3 to X4 & have found that X4 won't start -- I get an immediate Windows error: "Corel VideoPro has stopped working." I tried running as administrator with the same result.
Installation seemed to go fine & reboot went fine . . . the program just won't start (although X3 continues to run as normal).
Let's see . . . Vista Ultimate 32-bit, 4 GB RAM, 2.67 GHz Intel Core2 Quad Q6700, 8-10 TB hard drive space, NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX graphics card.
I was using VideoStudio 4 for about a year, then upgraded to 5 Ultimate last week. Was in the middle of a project when I upgraded, and decided to burn a DVD last night.
DVD burner is in use for another program error (or something like that)
I've never had this error in my life, and I've been using the same laptop for about 3 years, with 2 or 3 versions of VideoStudio.
Should I just uninstall 5? Or can I "restore" my computer back to two weeks ago?
The file I was working on, I also saved as a VideoStudio 4 file in case 5 doesn't work.
I didn't uninstall 4 before loading 5. I tried to uninstall 4 last night, but it didn't uninstall all the way. Maybe if I reload 4, then uninstall it?
I can't think of any programs that use the burner that I use on that machine either.
I really need to make a DVD by saturday--it's my fiancee's bridal shower. The one I tried to make last night was to test it and make sure it worked on my future sister-in-law's TV before the shower. But that didn't happen unfortunately.
I just downloaded the trial version of Photoshop CS4 Extended to my Windows Vista Inspiron E1705. When I go to File, Open and locate my photo, it only opens the picture to a small thumbnail in the layers box. How do I get the photo to open to the main area? How do I enlarge the tiny thumbnail? There is no image in the main work area. It seems so simple, but I just can't figure it out. I've tried lightening the background and adding a layer. Please help with this most basic question!

I have Mac Pro, OS X 10.7.4. (Lion) I tried to change it this way:
File - Get info- Open with- change to CS4 - change all (use this application to open all documents like this one). It won't allow me, falls back to PS CS6.
I can open files by right clicking and chose PSCS4, (indicated as Adobe Photoshop CS4.app (11.0.2(11.0.2x20100519 [20100519.r.592 2010/05/19: 02:00:00:00 cutoff; r branch])) That arm long name for CS4 appeared after I installed CS6.

View 3 Replies View RelatedSo I just finally updated my OS and my Photoshop and just encountered something I wasn't expecting. I have an Epson GT15000 scanner(big one with a feeder) I installed all the drivers and everything and the scanner works fine, but I can't seem to open the scanner from Photoshop to scan directly into the program. I can open the scanner independently and scan it to a saved file and then open it in photoshop. But it only has limited file type options so I'm basically forced to save it as one file so that I can then open it in photoshop and resave it as something else which is kinda a rediculous in between step and also leaves me with extra files that need to be deleted. Since the scanner itself hasn't changed and still functions the same otherwise I'm assuming it's because I'm using a new version of Photoshop. I'm also assuming that I actually can scan in the program, just not in the way that I'm used to. I used to go to import, and the scanner would appear on the menu for me to select it.
