I've installed PS6 on my computer and it simply won't open. I get an error message that says it needs to close. I've reinstalled, ran a virus scan and tried to take my computer back to an earlier time....nothing.
View 23 RepliesI just installed Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5 CC onto my computer. Lightroom had no problems getting set up and is ready to go. I had an old demo version of Photoshop CS6 on my computer and was told to delete it, which I did. Unfortunately, it also damaged Photoshop 6 CC and I had to unistall it also. Now CC is saying it is up to date and won't reinstall it. I really need to start working on something I promised I would have ready by Monday and can't do it because I don't have Photoshop again.

Now I have more videos I want to edit. So I tried to use Video Studio and it does not open nor give any warning messages, as to why not.
Ist it o.k. or recommneded to have both the 2012 and 2013 versions of AutoDesk Product Design Suite - Premium installed on the same computer? Our design engineers would like this so they can learn the new version while still using the old version, but I'm concerned about the two versions conflicting with each other on the same PC.

My version is 10.8.4. The "Read Me" file says it requires 10.6 through 10.8.Â

So I attempted to uninstall it and reinstall.When I tried to uninstall I got a message that said it could not be uninstalled due to an error. I followed the directions to restart and try again... and again. Same message. At the bottom of the message was another saying if that didn't work to use a link to some Adobe "cleaner". When I clicked to download the "cleaner" I got a message that I had to UNINSTALL the Elements program before using it.

Next I tried to install Elements from the original disk and got this message: "Installation to case-sensitive drives is not supported. Please choose a different drive location to install." I just want to do a photo project as a gift for my parents.Â
I just transferred cs5 to my new imac computer using my time machine backup. I now get a "photoshop does not recognize this file type" when I try to open a raw file from Photoshop. When I try to open my raw files through bridge I get the message "you do not have permission to open the document. I have checked my permission preferences and have reading and writing permissions and updated to 6.7 ACR.

When I go to File, Open and locate my photo, it only opens the picture to a small thumbnail in the layers box. How do I get the photo to open to the main area? How do I enlarge the tiny thumbnail? View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently watched a video of an artist working and I swear it looks like he made a lasso selection on a smart object layer, dragged the selection, and instantly created a new layer of the selection alone. He did this successively to sample parts of an image for later usage. I can't figure out for the life of me how he was doing it and I can't find anywhere that PS has this ability.
For one, lassoing an area of a smart object doesn't allow me to duplicate that selection, PS acts like I want to duplicate the entire image, if I hold down the ALT key. Also, if I try to make a duplicate of a selection with a non-smart object layer I can duplicate the selection via dragging by holding ALT, but the duplicate is still on the same layer as the original object, which is NOT what I want. I know how to use copy/paste.
My Paintshop Pro X4 was working great, until I registered it today, then all hell broke loose. It crashes and also I cannot get the "Computer" tab to open, only the "Desktop" tab will work correctly. Tried restarting it, same results. I use Win XP Pro SP3 and computer does not have virus, nor malware. Hard drive is 500G. Graphics card is updated and more than adequate.

Since we don't have enough network lincenses, my company suggest to open only one application per computer only.
I'm a Liverpool Football Club supporter and I'm not going to go into details, but we are making a new supporters group and we need a logo to go with our group.
Had an idea for a logo, take this Soviet badge: Keep the gold around the bottom and sides, have 'The Red Faction' along the bottom, retain the Red star and replace the hammer & sickle with a gold Liverbird. I would need this as a PNG graphical/logo image not simply using the current JPEG and editing it if that makes sense?
