I am working on a video for my friend who after I'm almost done has given me a longer piece of music that would throw the tingeing of the video off. Is there a way to add a say 10 second chunk in the front of it without having it change the timing.
I'm trying to add a title to the beginning of my video but when I drag my video clip down to the timeline I can't get it to start after the beginning title. How do I add deadspace to the video timeline so my title text shows at the beginning? I can't figure this out. It seems so simple. I just want text at the beginning and then after 10 seconds I want my home video to start.
In order to add mpeg video files to the library, I create in the library a new video folder for the current project.During adding the files I get sometimes the message: "No storage to load BB!!"
I'm the happy owner of the new Corel VideoStudio Pro X5 program. I've resently put together my first video, but then an error occured.
In the preview window i noticed that every time a new clip is being played, the program adds a top line and bottom line, often displaying something from the previous clip in the timeline. I thought this was not a big deal, but then after saving my video as a finish .avi file, the problem was not solved..
On following webpage, there's a screen picture of my problem: [URL] ...
The clips are recorded with a 4:3 ratio and 720p, 60 frames/s. When i played the finish created file, i tried in Windows Media Player and in VLC.
I have a project which is a party with background burble. I cut to a mute cutaway shot of the mountains outside the window, then back into the party. I want the background burble to run right through. How can I strip some sound off a combined video clip and lay it under the mute outdoor shot?Used to do this quite easily in 16mm.
For the last few weeks I have been using the trial version of Pro X4, which I would gladly purchase if not for two recurring problems: (1) The program often shuts down when I am adding subtitles. (2) Sometimes I get the blue screen of death after loading video from my camera.
The subtitle problem is one I have experienced with the old Ulead Video Studio. I have a brand new hard drive with lots of available memory, and I do not have similar problems when using Windows MovieMaker (which I hate to do because VideoStudio is better).
The second problem is more disturbing, because the computer itself shuts down. Again, I have experimented, using Windows MovieMaker to load video, and there is no problem. The crash seems to take place after the video has been loaded, when VideoStudio begins displaying thumbnails of the clips (I load using the "split by scene" feature).
When this happens, I have been getting the "No storage to load BB" message, about which there is a thread somewhere, without a real answer for what "BB" stands for. I have read through this thread, and the suggestion seems to be this has something to do with file size.
Sometimes after I click "okay," my computer monitor goes blue with some an error message that I cannot fully read because it extends off the edges of the screen: something about dumping memory. Some numbers countdown at the bottom of the screen, something about memory dump, but it all disappears before I can read through and make sense of anythingl.
After rebooting, I might also get a message about the file (singular, not plural) being corrupted and therefore not properly saved, but all the clips are there when I look for them.
My hard drive is not short of memory (3/4 empty of 465 GB capacity). I also tried saving directly to my external hard drive (which has 1.5 TB free out of 2 TB capacity). Same problem.
How I can add an edited audio file to a MP4 video file? The problem is that the MP4 video already has audio files included with the import. I want to change those file and add the edited files. It seems that I can't delete or cut the audio files out of the video clip to add the edited version. By the way I am using Corel Video Studio Pro X3
If you already have your main floor created in a Revit LT model and you later decide you'd loke to add a small addition to that same floor, not as an addition, but simply as a revised floor plan that expands the previous area, can you just draw another floor area and will that blend into the 1st main floor? Or do you have to redraw the whole floor? Or join the 2 pieces?
I'm using Corel videostudio X6 and I have 2 problems.
1. when i go in to track/customize motion mode, the window is bigger than the screen so i can't use this option (i'm using lap top wide screen). like in here: [URL] ....
2. when i'm adding a text to low quality video the text doesn't look well and i wonder how can i maintain the quality of the text?
I have a question about Radial dimensions... I am trying to add a piece of text (TYP.) to a Radial Dimension... When I add the text; it makes the text and dim line move further from the arrowhead (see image)
I want to be able to move the text on the dimension closer to the arrowhead without actually exploding it... my current solution is to separate the text (TYP.) from the dimension (see image)
Is there a variable or setting to shorten the length of the dim line on the dimension?
I have blended still photos, imported video AVI with it's own audio and music tracks. The work area was rendered and when I play the sections the music blends out and the video plays back as it's supposed to and even with full screen. Then I use the "Share" tab and burn a DVD using either a DVD-R or DVD+R and everything is fine except the video pieces that I want to play are silent.
I'm building a site with WordPress and installed a plugin that will create a slider of images on the front page. For each image, there is specific text that goes with the image (just a simple quote). If it's possible to use Gimp to add text to the side of an image and not actually on the image?
Here's a link to the front page of the site that I'm attempting to add the text to. Currently, the photos are there and you will see the blank space next to the images. This blank space is where I would like to add the text. I've contacted the creator of the plugin and there is no way of doing this from within the plugin, itself.
I was editing my largest project to date (I'm still well a novice) and once I needed to remove a middle portion I realized how in the heck can I slide the remainder entire timeline to fit the gap? I tried the slide tools, hand tool, and the track select tool. I know host to highlight the remainder of the timeline.
Along the bottom of the screen we want to add one of the text components - which will have a rectangle background and text saying call now and a phone number - then we want to add an image of a phone but we can't get the phone image in front of the text background - it is hiding behind the bar.... it's a bit like you see on the shopping channels with a phone number at the bottom of the screen - but we also want the image of the phone - how can you change the order of how these tracks are laid on top of each other?
I recently purchased Video Studio Pro X3 - and after going through the knowledge base and product read me, I have been unable to find an answer to the following problem I have:
PROBLEM:
I have a number of videos (HD 1080p) that I have recorded. Each video is on average 50 minutes in length - what I want to do it to be able to do is to slice this video into 10 x 5 minute videos (based on topics discussed in the video), (so essentially clip the video into these segments and edit each one) and then when producing the video file - actually create 10 separate video files (all with editing in place) instead of one single large file.
As far as I have been able to work out, I need to go through the whole file, clip relevant sections, edit them, and then save project. I then need to go trim the saved file 10 times, to extract each time the single 5 minute video I want to create. This is a fairly manual and time consuming process, hence my hope that I can create 10 files based on the clips I have made in the larger 50 minute file in one go.
as I have 30 videos to edit, so looking for ways to save time!
I have a LIVE show recorded and I want to add Video Filters in various places within a single 4 minute video. Do I need to cut up my video to segments to add filters too or can I apply them to different spots in a single video?
I'm trying to add a video to a plane using 3ds Max 2012. I've watched two videos showing how to do it, unfortunately they are using old versions of 3dsMax, and their instructions aren't up to date.
I've made a plane, converted it to poly. I opened materials, found diffuse map in architectural, and clicked on bitmap. So I opened my Avi file. And what I believe what I am supposed to do now is drag from the circle to my plane. I see the video on my plane, but it is washed out gray. There is a box that says "diffuse color", where this color seems to come from, but I can't get rid of it.
I spent hours online looking for a tutorial that shows how to feather a video's edge. For example, I imported a video clip on the cs6 timeline. I want to create a circle vignette around the video.
If I select the video and use the Eraser tool to feather around the video, it only applies the effect on 1 frame when I advance the timeline. Is there any way to use the Eraser tool on a video and apply
I created some type layers in Photoshop CS6 and the flattened. I made the background transparent. there it shows checkerboard background.then I imported to PP and added to the video track, but instead of just text, the background is white, blocking out the video entirely.
I am using Elements 10 and do a lot of editing in slide show projects. I want to add video clips that are iin my catalog to my slide project. Every time I click on video clips it tells me I have to go to Premiere to activate. Is there a simpler way? I usually don't go to Premiere until I want to burn a disc..I don't need to edit the video clips.
I became so frustrated with VSPX4 a few days ago because the previous day I had added my own music folders, images and video.... they have all gone. All I have is the Samples.
What I would like to know is, why would the all disappear?
I recently purchased VideoStudio Pro X4. I have been making movies just fine, but now I am wanting to try some new things such as effects. Here are some things I would like to try, but I am not sure if VideoStudio has this capability:
1. Add explosions to movies. 2. Also other effects like lightning coming from fingertips. 3. I have seen in other video clips where people have added a mouth to various inanimate objects such as a wall or fruit or whatever. The object would remain still while the mouth spoke. I am not sure if this is clear or not.
I noticed that some have used Adobe After Effects. Is this what is needed? It seems kind of expensive.
I am a Video studio PROx4 user. Recently, I had some old 8mm films transferred to video and now I'm editing them in Videostudio prox4.
I have a few clips where I want to add sound; HOwever, when I drag the sound clip to the Voice track or the music track, the clip remains silent. The original clip seems to have a audio track already. I can split the audio and the delete the track from the voice track, and then unmute it and re-submit the music track I want to use but it somehow doesn't do the trick.
