I'm plotting multiple sheets in revit 2011 (doesn't matter if it's 2 or 20,)the first sheet comes out fine, but all the rest has text / annotation that has disappered. Text in the title block, elevation markers, section markers, and column bubbles. The markers appear, but the text doesn't. My work around currently is to plot to pdf and then plotting the pdf. But this is a step that I shouldn't have to do.
View 4 RepliesHaving issue with linked DWG which disappears arbitrarily? It is still linked and the visibility of Imported categories is set to ON, but DWG is not visible in a view. When we were linking it we set Current view only (so we can not see this DWG in other view than in the particular one).The solution is to remove DWG and link it again..What may cause it is that we copied the DWG into all levels because it contains floorplans of all levels. In every level we moved the DWG into correct position and it is working for a while. We did not find a moment when it disappears .

This time (another project) I have deleted some points with Recap of the cloud after edit with faro scene. Now I have imported the *.rcs files into revit 2014 and I have some serious problems..With diffenernt zoom levels some areas of the point cloud disappear. Below is the image of my ribbon after I begin the edit boundary command for a floor slab. For some reason the ability to finish or cancel the edit mode disappears and I'm unable to close out of the command without undoing everything I've done.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have created a "Jersey Barrier" as an adaptive component (attached). It is basically a profile extruded along a series of reference lines hooked to adaptive points.
In some plan views, under certain geometric configurations, the extrusion disappears in the view. The points highlight if you mouse over them. In a parallel 3D view, the component is still there. If I adjust the geometry in certain ways, the component will reappear in the plan view.
Here is an isolated view (3D on left, plan on right) with a configuration where the object does not appear in plan.here's a view where I have moved one of the adaptive points, and it appears in plan.
Our 50% plots don't print some entities. They plot fine at 100%. This occurs across multiple workstations. I first made sure that all the systems were updated with the latest updates and that the plotter driver was updated to see if that would fix it. No change. All workstations have Revit 2012 with update #2. Printing to and OCE TDS600 with the newest driver.

I've tried overriding graphics of these grids with half tone which didn't work then I tried transparency & that did not work. They either stay on or turn right off!
View 4 Replies View RelatedStill trying to set up revit standards can't come to conclusion regarding plotting vector or raster. My personal (limited) experience raster plotting has been poor quality with vector the plots are cleaner and it seems I have better control of shaded areas.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSince uprading to X5, virtually every file with text that I open has a problem. All text (artistic or paragraph) is visible when selected with Pick Tool but when Text Tool is selected, the text "disappears" either partially or totally. Very difficult to edit! Invisible text areas can be highlighted but not seen.
On the same page, when editing different different blocks of text, some have become totally invisible, or, just at the bottom of a paragraph, or just as a strip down the right hand side of artistic text (almost as though a white box was placed over it). Where there is a red underline, indicating a possible spelling mistake, the red line is still visible althought the text is not!
It is invisible in any Text Tool View - Enhanced - Wireframe etc.
Text reappears if I click on bottom middle handle (eg to flow to another paragraph) but as soon as released, it disappears again.
Ctrl W works rarely and only partially. I have tried different basic fonts with exactly same results. (eg Arial, Times NR)
Select text with Pick tool and there is full text again.
In the nature of my business I hardly have a file without text in it!
i made a 3d view with background sky image and looks great on the cover sheet. but when exporting to dwf it does not show up.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhenever I edit any text - be it editing an existing text layer, or with a new one, whatever text is there just randomly and without warning disappears. Doesn't matter wether I'm changing the color, font, font size or any other type settings. Sometimes I just move the mouse while in editing mode and the text just vanishes.
Made a video of the bug in action. Virtual keyboard on screen so you can see that I'm not hitting any keys to make the text disappears. Latest version of Photoshop, CC, OS X etc.

When I edit my text it disappears. I have attached an image of the problem. This only affects my machine in my company - I have checked colour settings with others and theirs are the same as mine only theirs works
The text is set to white/black colour 7 and the sheet layout is set to white. I have tried different text colours and I still can't see them.
As you can see from the top image I have a background mask that is set to the drawing sheet colour which is white When I double click in the text to edit it the text disappears (bottom image) as if the mask is appearing in front of the text which it shouldn't do.
The only way to be able to view the text is to switch the background mask off - but I want to avoid this as I have to keep switching it on again.
I get the same problem if inserting a new table and having to edit the cells. However here there is no way to switch the background mask off as there is no button that I can see to switch it on and off.
I have a frustrating problem in CS3 that when writing a block of text, either with text tool or area text tool, that the cursor disappears. I need to see its new position after using the space bar or tab: ready to input the next piece of text.
It seems to be flashing some of the time if I click into the middle of the text block, but disappears where I want to continue it at the bottom of the text block?
I am using Illustrator CS5. I just got a new MacAir and was required to install Java6 (not sure if that's exactly what it was called) in order to use Illustrator. Now when I select the TYPE TOOL, it turns really light gray and then disappears whenever I move it onto the artboard. It worked before..

When I type in text (at approx. 145 pt type), half or more of it disappears when it is rendered. I have tried reducing the text amount by line, but that hasn't helped. I don't want to to every single word as a separate layer either.

I have created an attribute say 1 and made a circle and moved the attribute text next to the circle and now making a block including both text and circle but when the block is created the text disappears I have made sure to check the annotation on in both attribute and block creation. This is just happening in Autocad Map 3D 2012. Dont know why the text disappears but when i explode the block it is back.

The text is still there...just not visible. i can select the text with no problem. and if i move it off of the viewport then i can see it just fine. this is happening with all the viewports in my drawings... on all tabs. View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a small office and 2 of the associates are using autocad lt 2014 1 is using 2013 and I am using 2007. Up until a few months ago we were all on 2007.
Now when I open drawings from the 2007 version, I cannot see some of the text. I have tried the following: Checking layers to make sure they are onChecking font to make sure they are availabemaking sure annonotation is visiblemaking sure proxy graphics are onMaking a block of just the drawing objects and opening that I am not that familiar with 2014, so I cannot figure out what is happening. Note - when i look at the drawing in the preview window, I can see the text. But when I open it, it is not there. If I save in 2014, the text no longer shows up in the preview.
As you can see when I drag the appearance swatch to apply it to the text. The text disappears and only comes back when I change color.

It works in Photo Paint, but for some reason draw has stopped working. I restarted and tried everything I could think of!!! This seemed to happen after the latest windows 7 update.
Also on a sidenote is it possible to get rid of the ads when i start up Draw and PP x4? It keeps hassling me to upgrade. It is really really annoying... seriously I bought this product, why does it have pop up ads???
I have designed a very large document (a magazine) in Corel Draw 11 with text, drawings and photos. I started converting the text to curves but there's a couple of text columns that disappear when I do so !
View 2 Replies View RelatedI created some tables in the attached AutoCAD Map 3D 2011 drawing by copying and pasting cells from an Excel 2007 workbook.
I have been able to update the tables in AutoCAD and print without any problems. However, when a second user opened the drawing, the table text was missing (the lines were present).
Note: We are saving our files in AutoCAD 2010 format for compatibility with some LT users.
I am using PSE12 with Mac OS X Mavericks. If I use the type tool, type some text then want to change maybe the font or size, the text disappears! If I set the parameters before typing everything is OK, but it is really inconvenient.
Also when I do a return in text the first letter of the next line is always a capital whether or not I start a new sentence!
Using Elements 6 or 11, (a purchased copy), when I add text and then save the text disappears in the saved copy but remains in the Elements copy. I've spent hours on this being very careful that the save location is where I want it. The photos shown in the bin do contain the text. ??
