Revit :: 2140 Freezes And Refuses To Let To Do Anything?

I have Revit 2014 installed on my work PC and am working on a 70mB file of no exceptional complexity on Revit Server. I am running with SP1 & SP2 installed on

During work, Revit just freezes dead!. I cannot do anything. I cant escape, I cant unfreeze it. Its as if its waiting for me to respond to a message but there is no **** message!

When I control Alt Del and try to force shut Revit - Windows tells me Revit is waitng for me to respond. Revit itself throws up a useless message saying I have an uncompleted operation.
I'm running Revit 2013 on Parallels 8 (Windows 7 x64bit) on a Macbook Pro, it has been working fine for over a year untill today as it freezes on the startup splash screen and the 'SECSplashwnd' becomes non-responsive. Nothing significant has been changed as it was working fine 8 hours ago.
I have tried repairing the Revit installation, restarting windows and mac, uninstalling Microsoft Framework and reinstalling. Problem Details:  Description:A problem caused this program to stop interacting with Windows.
This is the first time I experience a major problem with Revit 2012. I created a duplicate of an 8" concrete masonry wall for my student project. Then I selected the Edit option in the Structure to change the rendered material to concrete masonry. Suddenly the program freezes and crashes. A window pops up stating that Windows has detected a problem with Revit and must shut the program down. I've everything since my last save. As of now, I recreated a duplicate of the masonry wall I need and started drawing some of the walls for my project but I'm afraid to experiment with other materials. Background Information about my computer: I downloadeda free version of Revit 2012 student software to practice at home. I have Windows 7 64-bit, 6GB of Ram and Intel (R) Core i7 2.20GHz...(I checked all the software requirements before downloading the correct version of Revit 2012)  Do I have to uninstall the program and reinstall it again? Would the problem go away?
I am getting the following dialoge box when trying to print in PSCS4 to my Epson 3800, Vista 64. This is a new problem. "Before you can perform printer-related tasks such a s page setup or printing a document, you need to install a printer." I have installed and reinstalled the Epson twice now, I have tried printing to PDF as well as the generic Windows printer driver. PS is updated. I can print from Illustrator and Acrobat, as well as Office, ect. The problem is only PS. I have Vista 64 and PS 64 on a laptop and I can print to the Epson just fine. What is going on with my tower? update: even more curious is that I can create a new document and PS DOES see the printer just fine.
I recently jumped from C-12 to X5, and now I simply can not work properly.
After creating an image and converting it to a bitmap, if it is converted to RGB I get the "failed to launch server application" error, while in CMYK everything works fine.
I am having a strange issue with 1 of my drawings, it simply refuses to export to *.dgn. it wont give any error message what so ever, just when i go to file -> export -> put in the standard option and hit export nothing happens and returns to the drawing no dgn file is created.
I've tried older drawings of mine and those still work fine and export command does its job.
I installed and have successfully used PSE 12 on Windows 7 since October 2013. It quit working in the middle of alternately using it with an online screen of an art class and now refuses to launch. I have done repeated uninstalls and reinstalls to no avail. It's welcome screen does come up but now with the message that my trial version has expired and the only option given is to BUY NOW. I have a licensed product. Is this a program bug as I've read others encountering similar issues.Â
Recently I installed an update to Corel X6 after I had updated CS6 of Photoshop. Now despite choosing Photoshop as the default application, jpgs open in Acrobat. Â Just choosing Photoshop as the default application doesn't change anything. They still open in Acrobat unless I first start Photoshop and open the file I want.
I have three printers installed on this Windows Vista 64-bit machine, and they all operate normally with other applications. When I open a TIF or JPEG file in Photoshop, part of the time they open normally, and I can do print preparation and normal printing. Sometimes when I open a TIF or JPEG file, they open normally, but when I start to prepare them for printing (printer selection, etc.), a Photoshop CS4 message tells me that I have to install a printer first before I can do any printing-related tasks. It acts like there are no installed printers at all. Obviously I am not changing my printer hardware status between files that work and files that don't work. Â I've been trying to compare the files that work normally with the files that don't work normally, and I haven't found the trend yet. If I try to recreate thousands of files that don't work normally so that they do print, that will be a monumental job.
I have to continually update the views for all of my parts regardless of how many times I change my settings and save. I recently updated to 2013 FDS. I've changed the default template but still no go. The views continually revert back to some default that looks horrible. At times the backgroud display will remain but eventually reverts back to some default. I've updated the document settings, application settings, and template settings but still get the same thing.

Click on the canvas, hold SHIFT to force a straight line, move towards the bottom of the document, let go of the mouse button, it draws a line straight to my mouse's cursor! I have no other ideas what is causing this.
Gimp refuses to open after closing all projects and reopening gimp! it always freezes INSTANTLY on the start-up screen! it doesn't matter how many times I force close Gimp and restart Gimp! it always freezes 1 second after opening!
I just noticed that Smoke wont use the home directory for the project (to save setups) instead it goes to another location on the hard disk. Is this a bug or a configuration problem?

Trying (in vain) to get the background of this picture transparent...Its white right now and i tried alphamask the whole picture looked like it had seen a ghost but it still wasn't transparent the magic wand refuses to do so either perhaps i'm doing something wrong?
I have used on and off MovieFactory for a number of years and have been well pleased. It's simple to use and doesn't require a degree in software use to make effective DVD's playable in all DVD players.I shoot my footage with a Panasonic NV-MX300 3 CCD camcorder, which although a few years old now, can hold it's own with lower end so called HD Camcorders
My method of creating a DVD has been to capture the footage using a third-party Video editor and then importing it's export into Movie Factory and then work from there.
I have recently upgraded my version of MovieFactory 6 Plus to VideoStudio Pro X4 as this seems to better support the creation of HD BluRay discs. No I don't have the Power Pack Plug-in with my version of MovieFactory but thought that upgrading would better suit my needs.I have created, successfully a 35Gb .AVI file using my third-party NLE and it's properties are as follows: -

My original DV footage was roughly this too. It was shot in Widescreen although the sound was recorded in 32000 Hz stereo. When I import the video into either MF 6 or VS Pro 4 the playback is in a squashed 4:3 aspect Ratio and no matter how I alter the preferences or Project Settings, before or after importing the .AVI file, it refuses to play back in widescreen.When the exported file plays in VLC Player or Windows Media Player, it plays back correctly.
I am using Autocad 2D for a drawing, and my lineweight refuses to plot correctly. I didn't use a ctb file, but I changed them by hand each one. Most of them works correctly but some of them not. When I go to the properties window, every of them have the good lineweight, it's when I plot them in pdf file and open them in Adobe reader, some still have the 0mm (wrong lineweight). However they show they are the good size in properties window, but they plot differently.
I just realize that when it shows in adobe reader it shows the wrong lineweight, but if I convert the pdf into a jpeg and open it with windows photo viewer, it shows the correct lineweight.
I have a model in which we want to make lighter than the prototype turned out to be. In order to acomplish this i am removing a chunk of the metal in the lid(images attatched. I have completed the sketch seen in red and extruded it to prove that the loop is complete but when I try to reverse the extrusioni to cut from the lid dragging down the arrow as an example, it turns the effected area a darker red than normaly seen when you cut something. When I let go of the left mouse button it pops back up to the original surface having no effect and refuses to go benieth it and when I apply I get the error seen at the bottom of the attatched image. I do this sort of cutting often instead of digging down to the root sketch then dealing with the ripple effect of the changes we want to make.
I have been building a bush cross section.I am building it as a dynamic block as I need copies in many different sizes.
Due to the cross section I am using hatches to indicate different materials (only 2)
When I change some distances linked to actions the hatch remains inside its boundary and conforms to the new shape, most of the grips work perfectly whereas one, the top left grip, misbehaves time after time and breaks the hatch associativity.
I should mention that I had it working perfectly earlier, but was asked to add a fillet onto my drawing and after putting this in and tweaking everything I have no longer been able to reach perfection.
I am having quite a frustrating issue when trying to simply shift + drag in edge mode. I click the edge and hold shift to drag it and it instantly becomes deselected when clicking the the gizmo to move up.
I was working on a few images for an newsletter for a dutch company and saved those files in 2 PSD's , both of them were around 500Kb in size, but i can't open them anymore since a few days. Everytime i try to open them Photoshop gives me the error that i don't have enough RAM, after 2-3 tries photoshop crashes, giving me a mesage that "photoshop had to exit because bla bla" ( the typical crash error )
Now comes the strange thing, i can open them when using bridge, but that isn't the option for me as i don't like bridge.
Photoshop CS3 freezes after making an adjustment layer using levels. A description of where the picture is located on the computer (usually only seen as a mouse over) appears and is also frozen.
I am unable to save the file and have to end the program and lose everything if it is not already saved. I have Windows XP with service Pack III. I do not have this problem with CS2. I would appreciate any ideas.
My photoshop CS2 frequently freezes when I do simple commands such as altering hue/brightness and double clicking on a slice with the slice selection tool.
I installed PS CS6 and it immediately freezes after it opens up. I can not do anything... nothing works. I have to use task mgr to close it down. This is running on a refurbished Dell PC with a SSD Win7 & NVIDIA Video Card. What gives?
I'm having issues with the 64-bit version of Photoshop CS6. Immediately after attempting to open an existing file or create a new one, Photoshop completely freezes, with no error messages/dialogues, and I end up having to force close it from Windows Task Manager. This happens every single time. I had this same issue with the beta, and it continues into the full release. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing it multiple times to no avail. Â I haven't had this issue with previous versions of Photoshop (CS 5 & 5.5), and the 32-bit version of CS6 runs fine. However, for obvious reasons, I would prefer to use the 64-bit version of the software to take full advantage of what my machine is capable of.I'm running this on a HP Envy 17 laptop, with an Intel Core i7 processor (1st-gen), an AMD Radeon HD 5850M graphics card, and 8GB of RAM.
I have a PC with windows 7. I have had photoshop on here for a year or so with no problems. I recently reformatted my PC and now for some reason when I open photoshop after it has finished installing, the grey window opens and just freezes. i've tried reinstalling 10 times and it does the same thing every time.
I'm experiencing frequent freezes on PS (CS6, 13.0 x64) when first using it each day. Rest of the time it seems to run very quick and beautifully. But most days I'm finding in the first five or ten minutes of using it, PS just stops. It then takes perhaps five minutes to do anything and if I have used the history brush or resized or anything while it was still fuctioning ok, then there is a frantic catch-up by PShop while it runs through all those unseen movements in one go. Â Oddly, it won't allow any selections or painting or anything but it does seem to allow you to still look at pull-down menus (even though they don't respond if selected). So, an unusual type of freeze, not a total lock-out, just rendering it useless. Quitting (when it allows me to) seems to revive it and then I seem to be able to work ok. Â Am on a new iMac with 3 TB Fusion drive - just wondering (worried) it is something to do with that perhaps? All my other CS apps working ok (I use Indesign constantly).
I have a new HP envy i7, 16GB, Win 8 laptop and am installing a new Production Premium Suite. I installed PS, Premiere and Audition. Premiere and Audition start fine, but PS freezes the moment it is started. Cannot access any menu items, and have to close nonresponding program via Task Manager.Â
