Command 'R' to render out a clip? Each time I do it Premiere Pro whips me back to the start of the timeline. I've started up a new project.
I'm wondering if Premiere Pro will have a plist file, mmm, maybe I will go look ..
using the FCP7 keystrokes in PP CS6.
According to the menu, this keystroke is shift command E (Mac). Does not work at all.
View 12 Replies View RelatedWhen I import 5D III cinemadng's into Premiere 7.1, the footage comes in with a weird pink overlay. It's not just a tint shift, but some sort of color distortion. After Effects and Photoshop both read the file just fine via Camera Raw.
View 31 Replies View RelatedA week ago all was well in Premiere Pro CS6 world. One day I updated Windows, next day all but a few .mp4 video files opened in Premiere Pro, played fine as well, EXCEPT for the fact that the display now has green (sometimes multicolour, sometimes a solid green block) bars in the lower third of the screen. See screenshot below.
These same files open/display fine in After Effects, Photoshop and VLC- and Quicktime players. I'd read something fromyears ago about Windows Updates causing this, so removed one of therecent KB's to no avail. I did install AdobeMediaEncoderTrial_64-6.0.3-mul-AdobeUpdate and DynamicLinkMediaServerRetail-1.0.1-mul-AdobeUpdate and reverted to Quicktime 7.6 but nothing makes a difference.
In the end, I formatted C:, reinstalled Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, downloaded/installed about 260 updates and reinstalled CS6 (and then the aforementioned AME and DLMS updates and QT7.6) but it's STILL the same problem.
Also tried exporting (part of) one of these files, just to see if it wasn't just a display problem: the exported file with the same properties as the original also has the green bars.
When I start my Photoshop CS5.1 I get an error saying that my standard brushes, standard colors etc. are missing/
View 1 Replies View Related'm running windows 7, and am using PS CS5. It has started developing a few problems that are becoming very troublesome. My system is 64-bit running intelcore i5 2320 3.00 gz with 6gb ram. It's a Dell which is probably the main problem to begin with, but here goes.
It won't open any secondary files on the first try. When it doesn't, I have to scroll through folders, then try to re-open the file. Major headache. On my preferences under performance, "Open GLdraw" is not checked.
It often won't let me make any image adjustments on a file, or on a layer unless I close the program and restart.saving files in an unrecognized format. I usually can recover some if I open them with paint, but I find this ridiculous.
Today I tryed to simulate cloth that was created in 3ds max 2012.While in max 2012 it works fine, in 2014 the cloth pops a few centimeters up. No matter what i tried (reset state, erase simulation, delete the cloth modifier and re apply it) the problem persists.
Along with other problems such as geometry being corrupted (in max 2014), crashes when rendering, and wierd viewport problems, max 2014 has to be THE MOST buggy and problematic release of 3ds max I've ever used.
I am running Photoshop CS5, and when I am use cmd-0 (fir to screen) the window reduces to the tiniest speck

when offsetting a polyline with a shallow deflection, the newly created polyline is created incorectly.
I have a 2 segment polyline with a 0D03'00" deflection. when I offset it, the vertex of the new polyline is created in the wrong location. On a polyline with a 0d04'00" deflection, offset works correctly.
If I explode the polyline, offset the lines and fillet them, the vertex is correct.
Attached is the final result. The red polyline is the polyline with a 3' deflection and the green polyline has a 4' deflection. when offset the vertex's should land at the center of the circles that are drawn but the red polyline vertex is incorrect by 0.00654456.
I can't get quickmask to work correctly in photoshop. Each thing I try to mask and then copy ends up having 50% or so opacity. All the layers are at 100% opacity, and in the quickmask options opactiy is also at 100%. Anyone know what could be wrong?
View 5 Replies View Relatedmy Wind Filter is not creating the "tracers" or "trails" that I am used to seeing.My goal is to create a motion effect on white text. The "tails" are not growing in length when I duplicate the filter over & over like it should.
Example: This is the text after applying the filter once.Here is an example after the 3rd time of applying the Wind Filter.
the streaks are remaining within the text. It's not creating the trailing streaks that I need.
For some reason photoshop at times will only let me erase or draw within the confines of a specific layer. It seems to happen randomly without me accidently hitting a hotkey of some sort.
For instance in the image below, I was drawing and randomly I noticed I could no longer draw. It would only let me use the brush/erase tool within the confines of the line work I had already established. The only way I have been able to correct this so far is to completely restart photoshop.
I work as a graphic designer at a company working with CS6. I try to define a pattern but when the dialogue box pops up in define pattern the pattern does not define as I want it to. Instead of defining it as it looks in the image. The pop up turns it into something else. I've taking a screen capture of the problem and inserted it below.
View 5 Replies View RelatedKeyboard shortcuts are working sporadically. For instance, when using select all, copy, paste shortcuts to copy from one image to another in a different tab it can take 2 presses of the keyboard to get them to work. This also makes actions unusable.

Adjusting Performance in preferences -currently 25062 memory usage, history states 20, cache levels8, cache level 1024, use graphics processor ticked. Have changed all of these settings with no effect on problem.
Closed all other programs(including all browsers).
Removed any plug-ins. Closed flash panels namely mini bridge.
Having to revert to an older version of Photoshop at the moment as dodgy Keyboard shortcuts make CS6 unusable. Also have a problem with Camera Raw which I have raised in another Discussion that makes it unusable also.
Several of my CS5 "Sketch" filters (e.g., Stamp, Photocopy, Halftone) are suddently producing only all-black images, while others are still working correctly.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using the "Place" command to embed my transparent logo into all my images that I post.I hand place the logo in the right bottom corner (not "aligned" as it just pushes the logo too close to the edge). My problem is when I create an action incorporating the "place" command and use it in batching, my "hand" placed logo defaults to the center of the screen which I don't want. Is this a bug. Shouldn't the placement go where I actually place it? I am using percentages to resize so that should not be a problem.
When I use the align tool the batch actually works and places it in the absolute alignment position, but that looks terrible.
some graphics on photoshop and messed up colors. Applying gradients,or fill colors it always uses a lavender color no matter what the foreground or background color is.
View 2 Replies View RelatedRecently when I click on an image/layer to rescale (like I have done hundreds of times) the height figure resets to 1 px. When I try to increase it back to the original figure, nothing happens apart from weird lines that appear below the image. It started yesterday, after I was in the middle of a project and Gimp crashed (which it has never done before). It does not matter how many new projects I start, after a while the scale tool stops working.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm having some trouble with smart guides in Ai CS6. They are on. However, when my cursor intersects a guide path, words like 'intersect' and 'guide' do not appear, as I have seen them do for others. Also, the 'heads-up' information display that shows the width and height, e.g. when using the grid tool, does not appear either.
The guides are working to some extent, it seems, since I do get green lines here and there.
I want to make a 3.5" by 2" document. I created a new document, set the artboard width to "3.5 in" and the height to "2 in". When I open the document and look at the actual size, the proportions are correct but about half as big as they should be. what gives?

View 4 Replies View RelatedToday I was just about finished editing a video on CS6.What happens is that while RAM previewing at some point during the loading of the preview it will stop loading, It will then proceed to play the ram preview on loop and when I press a button to stop it a small box pops up in the centre of my screen and the ram preview bar to show what has loaded (the one which shows green for parts that are loaded and blue for cached) turns black and sometimes other parts of after effects turn black. This has happened before and I fixed it by uninstalling and reinstalling After Effects about 6 times. I would do that this time though I would like to know the cause of it and any possible fixes as it is quite irritating. Another thing that may be happening is the RAM usage is slowly filling as I render. This has happened before on my laptop and I did not manage to fix it though it was not related to the first issue that time. The last time when it happened on my laptop the RAM usage eventually filled up to 100% and it would no longer render. I am not sure if it is happening this time as it is still currently rendering though I will update the thread if it does. Finally my render is going very slowly, I am not sure if this issue is realted to any of the above or if it is just the effects I am using though. My memory and multiprocessing settings are using 6 cores of 7 with 2 GB of ram allocated to each with multiprocessing on. My ram allocated for other programs is 6GB. To fix these Issues so far I have tried clearing the cache, purging the memory and image cache, restarting my computer and reinstalling after effects.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI cannot get the Envelope tool to work correctly in Draw X5. Rather that go into a lenghty explanation, see below. Notice that some of the rectangles don't "bend" as they should. I converted all text to curves and then welded all objects together. However, it acts the same if they are grouped instead.

Since I first upgraded from PSP X3, 5 months ago the eraser tool has worked great. But just in the last week I have been having problems with it not working correctly. It seems like it is faded and not erasing like it should. The hardness IS raised up to 100 but still no luck. The background eraser is working great, it is only the eraser tool that is acting up. Here is a screen capture of what it is doing.
View 8 Replies View RelatedIn AutoCAD 2011 and 2012 my spell check instantly recognizes a misspelled word as soon as you enter a space after the word as you type.
AutoCAD 2013 does not recognize the misspelling until I go back (still within the text editor) and click on the word. Only then will it show the red underline. This is using Dtext only. Mtext works fine.
For the bad spellers or missed keystrokes, the fast "on the fly" spell checking was great. How to get my AutoCAD 2013 to behave similarly?
Is there an issue with Scene States in Design 2011?When I set up my scene states it's like the program decides on its own when it wants to actually save the scene states correctly and then reload them.
The only thing I'm using the SS for is hiding/unhiding layers to batch render different options on projects. I hide/unhide layers as needed, save all the SS needed and then when I test them out using Restore Scene State the settings may or may not have taken effect.
Just now after repeatedly trying to save the SS that I needed I finally got it to save and restore...but I didn't do anything differently than I normally do.
The real kicker is when sometimes I create the SS, test them (and they work) and then run the Batch Render...but when I come in the next morning the SS never switched and the renders show exactly the same SS in each camera view.
Is it possible that there are issues within the scenes themselves? (I notice the same exact problems when using Design 2012 as well.)
When I have a CFX on a clip and I try to replace media (so I'm replacing the media under the CFX), it doesn't work. It overrights the CFX completely. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen you go to the Appearance Browser and go to our custom appearances, some of the thumbnails don't match what the appearance is actually set to. If you open up/edit the appearance it shows the correct appearance, but the thumbnail isn't displayed correctly.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI automatically updated last week for my 2014LT and since then the LAYERS hasn't worked properly. Layer Manger still seems to work correctly, but the Layers tab on the Home ribbon does not. I am running Windows 7 Ultra, Quad Core i7 with 16 MB of Ram, and had been running without errors until this last update.
When/if I select the "Freeze Layer" tab from the top ribbon, and then select the layer on the drawing it turns it off as it should, but if I then use the pull down to locate the layer and turn it back on, nothing happens. It does not appear again; it may not even show up now (see below). I found that if I go to LAYER MANAGER and turn on the layer it still doesn't turn on unless I turn it off and then back on; which will bring it back unfrozen. Also, some layers when frozen do not then show up on my pull-down list or LAYER MANAGER list unless I save the drawing and restart 2014LT. The layer then shows up on the Layer Manger and ribbon.?
Just love updates when everything was already working properly, and then they don't after the "Update"!
