It works fine until I try to move a path, any path, that I've drawn with the pen tool. It happens on any file I work in When I do, it quits and gives me the message below.  Process:        Adobe Illustrator [1500] Path:           /Applications/Adobe Illustrator CC/Adobe Illustrator.app/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Illustrator Identifier:     com.adobe.illustrator Version:        17.1.0 (17.0.0) Code Type:      X86-64 (Native) Parent Process: launchd [142] Responsible:    Adobe Illustrator [1500] User ID:        501  Date/Time:      2014-02-18 19:18:52.630 -0800 OS Version:     Mac OS X 10.9.1 (13B42) Report Version: 11 Anonymous UUID: B3A0132E-B579-C3FC-1AB9-D4C9C1E032E4
I'm having problems trying to launch Illustrator CC on my MacBook. It keeps unexpectedly quiting when trying to open. Below is the link to the error message I am receiving. Â [URL]
Premiere Pro CC quits unexpectedly (serious error message) when importing footage. The formats I've tried and failed with include H.264, Prores422 and DNxHD. When I reopen a project containing one of these formats, it crashes again even if I click on one of the imported files. I'm using an early 2013 Macbook Pro and trying to edit Nikon D800 footage. At this point I'm not sure what other information I can provide.
I successfully updated Photoshop to the new CC version, but when I launch it I go through the splash screen, then everything seems OK, but after a couple of second it crashes and quits.
I tried repairing permissions, etc. but no luck.how can I get it to work?good thing I didn't uninstall the CS6 version, so I can continue using it.
Suddenly a few weeks ago I can't do anything in Photoshop on my Mac without it unexpectedly quitting about a minute into waht I am doing. where my hue/saturation filter just quits working. I use that filter religiously so it has to be fixed each time it occurs. I've only had the Adobe CS3 for 3 months and I've had to resolve this 3 times now. Each time this has happend I've had to uninstall the entire CS3 design package and do a complete reinstall which takes almost 4 hours because my download uses the Adobe server. My product download was purchased online so I do not have a disk but rather files that I downloaded from Adobe with product serial numbers. I've used Adobe for years, as far back as Adobe 5, and never had such a problem! I've checked in my preferences and have ample RAM available for the settings. I use Dell inspirion and have 2 GB of RAM total on my system.
So far I've tried this:  1. Pressing shift, contron and option right after launching the program. The window came up to delete prefernces I clicked yes. Restarted my computer relaunched the program, still quitting every time I try to save anything.  2. I went into Program FilesAdobePhotoshop Elements 9Locales<locale>Plug-InsImport-Exportand you will find twain plug-in. Remove that plug-in from that location and copy it somewhere else.  I did this 3 times, the first 2 times I dragged the twain plug in to my desktop, but I guess it was just making a copy. I can see the two plug in's on my desktop, but the plug ins remained in place. So the 3rd time, I clicked it and moved it to trash.  Again, I restarted my computer and relaunched PSE 9 but it still was crashing when I tried to save anything.  3. Just last night I ran the disk utility and repaired disk's. Again, restarted my computer and relaunched the program, and still it quits every time I save.
A client is running CS5. When we run an Action in Photoshop, either directly or through a Batch process, the name of the file changes to an old file name that actually existing in the file structure. It doesn't matter which file we start with, the name changes to this other name during the action. I've checked all the steps of the action to be certain there isn't a Save As command presenet. This has started happening with the past month. The Action has been in use for over a year.
I'm running Photoshop CS3 on Mac version 10.7.5. Every time I open PS I get the error message "adobe updater quit unexpectedly". Once I click out all I see is a white box for "Adobe Web Suite Premium CS3" that is blank. It can only be minimized - not closed. Everything else in PS is greyed out and unusable.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software twice at the recomendation of a tech rep, changed preferences, deleted preferences, turned over my screen to a rep and still have the same problem.
I'm working in Photoshop CS 5.5 on a Mac, and I want to apply a specific CMYK color to a selection in an image. I create the color with the values C=0, M=100, Y=100, K=10 and add it to my color swatches. Then I select the section of the image where I want to apply the new color and fill it with the paint bucket. The color fills the section just fine and life is good. But then when I roll over the section with the eyedropper to double-check the CMYK values in the Info window, it shows that they've inexplicably shifted to C=9, M=100, Y=100, K=1.
Photoshop CS6 and Illustrator CS6 crash unexpectedly when trying to open a file. I'm on OSX 10.6.8. I installed the software through Creative Cloud. I tried deleting preferences and it still doesn't work. Here is the error details.  Process:        Adobe Photoshop CS6 [254] Path:           /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS6/Adobe Photoshop CS6.app/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Photoshop CS6 Identifier:     com.adobe.Photoshop Version:        13.0.0 (20120315.r.428) Code Type:      X86-64 (Native) Parent Process: launchd [96] [code]....
My laptop recently died before I was unable to do a backup of the PSE 9 catalog. I thought I was covered, however, since I do regular backups of my total system. In reviewing the backup data though, I discovered that I had copies of all of my pictures -- but the backup tool that I was using was NOT copying the PSE catalog file. Bottom line, I'm now missing probably 15+ years of catalog information......  Someone has told me that they believe they can pull some information off the damaged disk of the old PC. If this is possible, what file(s) should I ask them to try and recover -- and where would it likely be located?  Windows 7 OSPSE 9Catalog was not backup prior to system crash. I do not recall file structure of where photos were stored -- but I do have back up copies of all pictures (now stored on my new laptop)Â
My Photoshop Elements 10 keeps shutting down on me whenever I open a large file or I create a new file and try to add a new frame layer. It was working fine a week ago and now nothing.
I have a new computer with Windows 7 - 64 bit and have dowloaded both updates to now have X6.2 - When I try to use ANY "text" the program quits working
I am using a Diamond VC500 capture device Vid studio 10 came with this. When I attempt to capture from a VHS player, VS 10 will capture for a few seconds then a thumbnail appears. A no capture device message then appears. Then I must rewind the tape and restart. Still a few seconds and ...ad nauseum. I have changed every setting that I can find to see what will work. No joy!
As a side note, I have found VS10 SE to reset some of its video parameters after closing the dialouge box. This is intermittant. video quality will reset to 80% from setting at 100%. Sound will reset to 64kbps after setting at 224. Usually, this occurs after re-opening the video and audio capture dialogue to change a parameter after first setting it. what sometimes works is to make all settings in one session then do not open the dialouge again.
