Nov 14, 2012I've deleted the preferences, restarted my computer, and it still quits when I'm saving. I'm in the middle of a project and need to finish.Â

AutoCAD LT :: Two Clicks On A Quits Program
Aug 11, 2011I have AutoCAD 2012 LT, and I have noticed something a bit strange. If I double click (or accidentally click twice) on the main menu (the "A" in the upper left corner), AutoCAD quits. It doesn't actually crash; if I have unsaved edits it asks me if I want to save them, and if I hit "cancel", the program keeps running, but it is a bit of an annoyance. Is this a bug or a feature?

1. Pressing shift, contron and option right after launching the program. The window came up to delete prefernces I clicked yes. Restarted my computer relaunched the program, still quitting every time I try to save anything.

2. I went into Program FilesAdobePhotoshop Elements 9Locales<locale>Plug-InsImport-Exportand you will find twain plug-in. Remove that plug-in from that location and copy it somewhere else.

I did this 3 times, the first 2 times I dragged the twain plug in to my desktop, but I guess it was just making a copy. I can see the two plug in's on my desktop, but the plug ins remained in place. So the 3rd time, I clicked it and moved it to trash.

Again, I restarted my computer and relaunched PSE 9 but it still was crashing when I tried to save anything.

3. Just last night I ran the disk utility and repaired disk's. Again, restarted my computer and relaunched the program, and still it quits every time I save.

Jan 9, 2013I recently updated my adobe software and I am still getting issues with saving layered files. I keep gettting program error - only occasionally. Sometimes saving to my desktop works and other times it doesnt. Other coworkers are experiencing same thing ever since they updated.
It happens when working on a layered file for any length of time and need to save it out as a layered photoshop file. We are forced to flatten and save as a tif and loose our layers. I think it has something to do with background task but not sure...

Oct 16, 2012I have started editing photos using the Photo Fix Options in Instant Fix. I have then switched to Photo Editor to fine tune my edited picture. When I use save or save as, to save the edited picture both the edited and original appear in the files. If I start in in Photo Editor and save there is an option to uncheck that reads "Save in version set with Original" However I am more comfortable with beginning in Instant Fix and then switching to photo editor. For some reason when I go to save after switching from Instant fix to Photo editor the uncheck feature is no longer available. step by step instructions to save revised photo afterusing Instant Fix first then Photo Editor.

The panels all go white and the desktop is ghosted like there is a film across the screen and I have to wait 2-3 or more minutes for things to resolve.

Apr 9, 2012Using X6 and for some reason when i save a document as a jpg or pdf and then upload it via email attachment and or forum attachment it shows up COMPLETELY different than what the program file looks like. I design in CMYK and know monitors show RGB but i have NEVER had a issue like this when using Adobe programs but i have switched to Corel and am having this issue.What i end up having to do is take a screen shot then paste it into MS PAINT, yes PAINT and then save it as a jpg there for it to display correctly colorwise. This works for jpegs but not pdf's with multiple pages that need to be sent to my designers and printers.
The saved file looks like it should on my desktop and laptop and looks like crap on my iphone, ipad and email attachments etc on the customers end.
I have embedded the cmyk profile, tried proof colors on and off. Nothing changes it except for saving in RGB mode which throws the pdf's off as they often go directly to my printers for production.

There?s still plenty of RAM space available but when using it, Photoshop keeps unexpectedly quitting.
I have tried someone?s suggestion of disabling the TWAIN plug-in but to no avail.
I?ve also uninstalled and reinstalled the application but the same thing happens.

Apr 11, 2009where my hue/saturation filter just quits working. I use that filter religiously so it has to be fixed each time it occurs. I've only had the Adobe CS3 for 3 months and I've had to resolve this 3 times now. Each time this has happend I've had to uninstall the entire CS3 design package and do a complete reinstall which takes almost 4 hours because my download uses the Adobe server. My product download was purchased online so I do not have a disk but rather files that I downloaded from Adobe with product serial numbers. I've used Adobe for years, as far back as Adobe 5, and never had such a problem! I've checked in my preferences and have ample RAM available for the settings. I use Dell inspirion and have 2 GB of RAM total on my system.
