Photoshop :: My Hue/saturation Filter Quits Working...
Apr 11, 2009where my hue/saturation filter just quits working. I use that filter religiously so it has to be fixed each time it occurs. I've only had the Adobe CS3 for 3 months and I've had to resolve this 3 times now. Each time this has happend I've had to uninstall the entire CS3 design package and do a complete reinstall which takes almost 4 hours because my download uses the Adobe server. My product download was purchased online so I do not have a disk but rather files that I downloaded from Adobe with product serial numbers. I've used Adobe for years, as far back as Adobe 5, and never had such a problem! I've checked in my preferences and have ample RAM available for the settings. I use Dell inspirion and have 2 GB of RAM total on my system.

Mar 8, 2013ON 3 different computers in my classroom, the cursor quits working in the graphics screen. Â You c an still click on any of the toolbars, palettes etc, type on the keyboard, but there is no response in the graphics screen area. Â In fact the crosshairs change to the "windows" arrow when the cursor is in the graphics area. Â I have had to re-install the whole system. Â I thought maybe is was a graphics crad/ driver issue but this is only occuring in AutoCAD 2013, I have not have any trouble in Revit, or other graphics based software that we use. Â I have video cards/drivers that are certified by autodesk. Â I have checked them for updates, etc. Â I have tried turning of the anit-virse stuff, nothing works except re-installing the whole system. Â It is random, I have 30 computers and so far 3 of them have done this. Â They are all configured the same.

May 2, 2012CorelDraw X6 quits responding when trying to import Acad drawing (vectors). To try to get around this I opened the DWG with CorelDraw X6 instead of importing. Then saved as a CDR and then tried to import the CDR. CorelDraw X6 quit responding again.
Note* Tested with CorelDraw 5 and it worked without problems.
CorelDRAW X6 :: Show Paragraph Text Frame Not Working
May 31, 2012I go to Tools > Options > Paragraph Text Frame and untick 'show text frames'. I then go to Document and tick 'Save options as default....'. Restart. No change, I still see a red dotted line around the text frames. How do you turn these off? If I can't do that, can I at least change the colour?

Apr 20, 2012I have uninstalled and reinstalled my x5 and while it fixed the error causing my default text cursor to start at 270 degrees for some reason instead of 0, I still cannot edit ANY font text as far as the kerning goes. When i drag it, it snaps right back everytime. This is extremely frustrating when aligning text to a curved path and all the letters are squished together.wth? This just happened in the last week randomly.

There?s still plenty of RAM space available but when using it, Photoshop keeps unexpectedly quitting.
I have tried someone?s suggestion of disabling the TWAIN plug-in but to no avail.
I?ve also uninstalled and reinstalled the application but the same thing happens.

Mar 10, 2011I am using a Diamond VC500 capture device Vid studio 10 came with this. When I attempt to capture from a VHS player, VS 10 will capture for a few seconds then a thumbnail appears. A no capture device message then appears. Then I must rewind the tape and restart. Still a few seconds and ...ad nauseum. I have changed every setting that I can find to see what will work. No joy!
As a side note, I have found VS10 SE to reset some of its video parameters after closing the dialouge box. This is intermittant. video quality will reset to 80% from setting at 100%. Sound will reset to 64kbps after setting at 224. Usually, this occurs after re-opening the video and audio capture dialogue to change a parameter after first setting it. what sometimes works is to make all settings in one session then do not open the dialouge again.
AutoCAD LT :: Two Clicks On A Quits Program
Aug 11, 2011I have AutoCAD 2012 LT, and I have noticed something a bit strange. If I double click (or accidentally click twice) on the main menu (the "A" in the upper left corner), AutoCAD quits. It doesn't actually crash; if I have unsaved edits it asks me if I want to save them, and if I hit "cancel", the program keeps running, but it is a bit of an annoyance. Is this a bug or a feature?

Photoshop Elements :: Quits Every Time Try To Save
Nov 20, 2012So far I've tried this:
Â
1. Pressing shift, contron and option right after launching the program. The window came up to delete prefernces I clicked yes. Restarted my computer relaunched the program, still quitting every time I try to save anything.

2. I went into Program FilesAdobePhotoshop Elements 9Locales<locale>Plug-InsImport-Exportand you will find twain plug-in. Remove that plug-in from that location and copy it somewhere else.

I did this 3 times, the first 2 times I dragged the twain plug in to my desktop, but I guess it was just making a copy. I can see the two plug in's on my desktop, but the plug ins remained in place. So the 3rd time, I clicked it and moved it to trash.

Again, I restarted my computer and relaunched PSE 9 but it still was crashing when I tried to save anything.

3. Just last night I ran the disk utility and repaired disk's. Again, restarted my computer and relaunched the program, and still it quits every time I save.

Process1. create a new background
2. make a circular selection
3. issue "select / to path" command
4. issue "select / none" command
5. create my text, 35 characters long on one line6. issue "text / along path" command
The text ALWAYS starts at the 12 o'clock position and is ALWAYS cut off at the 19th character! On the original circle the text cuts off at the 4 o'clock position.If I make the circle larger the text is still cut off at the 19th character but: - It starts at 12 o'clock and is cut off at 2 o'clock
If I make the circle smaller the text is still cut off at the 19th character but: - It starts at 12 o'clock and is cut off at 6 o'clock..All the circles are large enough for all the text to print around their circumference.
