Photoshop :: Unable To Open JPG As JPG Once Opened And Not Adjusted?
Jul 19, 2013
I am unable to open a jpg as a jpg once it has been opened——and NOT adjusted--- in raw. either can I open it as a jpg from within CS5 where it selects it from the Finder. Am I missing something or is this just the way CS5 has been designed?
I have installed CS6 trial version and an unable to view opened images (jpg, psd). Bottom of screen sayd "waiting for Bridge CS 6". What do I need to view my images?
This just started happening quite recently and it's really annoying me, but I can't find a preference where I can switch it off.
If I'm working on an illustration and zoom in on a detail, I'll find that any other open windows (within Photoshop CS2) have zoomed with exactly the same amount too, and I have to resize them all. Very time consuming when I'm zapping between open windows. Is this a setting I've inadvertantly clicked or a bug in the software?
CS6 "Unable to set maximum number of files to be opened." Just got the production bundle and installed everything on both my macs, everything works fine besdies illustrator which only works fine on one not at all on the other.
Since installing Creative Suite 5 in 2010 I have never been able to open Illustrator. All programs work but 'Ai'.I've tried re-installing it multiple times with no success.
The message that occours when trying to open the program is:'Unable to set maximum number of files to be opened'. And then it generates a 'Problem Report for CS5 Adobe Illustrator'.
I have installed Adobe Illustrator but when I launch it I get an error message; "Unable to set the maximum number of files to be opened". When I click OK to close the error message the program will not open.
The message 'Unable to set maximum numbers of files to be opened' is what appears when I try to open Illustrator, which is a part of my CS5 set up.
I've tried reinstalling CS5 several times but have had no success with getting illustrator to open. After this message appears it then says 'adobe has quit unexpectedly' click to reopen/ bug will be reported to apple. I've asked adobe for support resolving this issue a number of times...
I recently upgraded to PhotoshopCS5.5 and find that I can't print on my HP Photoshop Premium printer. I'm using a MacBook Pro with Mac OSX 10.6.8. I also am unable to open 2 images at the same time.
It seems that once my newly purchased autocad lt. 13 opens up a drawing created by an other co-worker in autocad Lt. 11, it automaticly converts to 13 and now the person using 11 can no longer open the file. what I should do?
I am trying to open Lightroom 4 from my desktop and it keeps giving me this message:The Lightroom catalog named "Lightroom 4 Catalog" cannot be opened because another application already has it opened.
When adjusting the tracking in cs6 the tracking value changes to a smaller value once applied. I rely heavily on this to work properly, are there any workarounds to this problem ?
(This became an issue after I 'upgraded' to the latest version, are they trying to get me over on CC by introducing more and more bugs to cs6?
How can I make available "Refine edge" when advised in (Elements 11 - Guided - Depth of field - Custom - Blur - that the "Command refine edge is not currently available" ??????
I have autocad civil 3d 2008 in my pc. From last 2 days I got a different problem i.e. when I am selecting open / save command from File menu graphical file select explorer is not opening just message in the command window . Previously I used to select files using graphical file explorer.
I'm trying to use grid and snap to draw some piping with a certain spacing. However, the grids' position isn't exactly where I want it. I can't reposition the xref to make it fit either since its position is agreed upon by all project contributors. Can the grid position be adjusted in any way?
I know this is gonna be hard to believe after 4+ versions of LR, but, I just tried slideshow on the 4.4 RC and the timing issue which has been the bain of the slideshow module seems to have been adjusted. I have just tried 6-7 different slide shows, added music of various lengths, changed the fade durations, changed the type of music, source of music, and greatly varied lengths of music and it has actually worked in a manner that would be acceptable to view with a client in a face to face presentation. This includes using an intro and exit screen. I am using a mac with SnowLeopard. I will try this on a PC with Windows 7 Professional later today. You still can only use one soundtrack and make sure the sound track does not start or stop too abruptly, but what a big difference! I could not get it to mess up regardless of changes I made.
I have downloaded Photoshop CC twice now.On first attempt I opened it and started to customise settings including which drive I wanted as a scratch disk. When I tried to reopen the program I had error messages of "Could not load default tool presets beacuse scratch disks are full " and then "Could not initialize because scratch disks are full ". I uninstalled via Windows7 Prof and reinstalled again but the same thing happened but this time I could not open the program to even customise it.
My PC runs on a SSD of 500GB which I use for Windows etc and still has 435 GB of space on it,I have a smaller older SSD of 120 GB which is now empty and an ordinary hard drive of 1TB which I use as a scratch drive and has 934GB free and 12GB RAM.I ran CS6 before on the old SSD with no problems.I cannot see how the scratch disk is full but understand that SSDs and Photoshop have had problems in the past.
I like using Bridge to import my photos but also like to use LR5. After I organize and edit in camera raw I want to import (ADD) the adjusted photos into LR5. Problem is the adjustments dont import into LR. The original raw DNG is imported without the fixing that I did.
I reinstalled Adobe Photoshop CS2 because I had problems with opening files with my previous Photoshop CS2.Now I have the same problem: I cannot open files or save them, neither when I try to open it with Photoshop, nor when I open the picture and choose "open with...". Photoshop starts, but nothing happens! What can I do?
I've been using CS4 just fine for a long time. Suddenly when I try to open it I get an error dialog telling me that my licensing has expired. Error code 150:30. As far as I can tell, nothing has changed. I tried uninstall and then reinstall from original disk. No luck. Contacted Adobe Support. First they told me to remove the FlexNet Publisher preferences folder from my Library folder at root level. There is not such folder there. They then told me to modify permissions on one of the folders. Did that but still no success. Also tried repairing all disk permissions via Mac disk utility. Still no luck. Now they tell me that they can't/won't give further support because my version is too old (apparently only CS6 and CS5 qualify for support).
I am running this on Mac OS 10.7.5.
Only thing I have done that I can trace as a possible culprit was that I installed a new film scanner. As part of its software install it started to install a bundled copy of Photoshop Elements. I aborted that install. Subesequent to that I discovered I could not open my copy of CS4.
I am a student, My school uses CS5 - I have CS6 - I am unable to open my homework at school (cs6 wont open on cs5) But I can still open school work at home (cs5 can be opened in cs6)
if there is a way to save my cs6 psd files as an earlier version so I don't have to keep redoing my work
Why am I now unable to open NEF files in Ps CS6? Two weeks ago it was all working fine, I can still open my old ones but the photos I took today can't be opened.
When I attampt to open a file in Bridge or from FileOpen in Photoshop CC I get the following message. Windows cannot find C:program files (86) Adobe Adobe Photoshop CS3Photoshop.exe.
I uninstalled CS3 and my CS5 update a couple of months ago. This problem started with being unable to open jpegs and Tiffs from Bridge to Photoshop, it would however, let me open them
in Camera Raw and then into Photoshop. However even this has stopped
