Photoshop :: Open Picture Brings Cross Hatch...
May 20, 2008Not sure what I did.
When I open a new pic, it has a grid all over it.
Ctrl-H eliminates.
What did I do to make this happen?
I don't want this to happen <grin>.

AutoCAD LT :: Open Command Brings Up Different Folders
Jun 25, 2012Upgraded to LT 2013, and I've noticed that when I click open, CAD brings up a folder that I was working in the previous day or even the week before. Â I've created shortcuts to get back to the folder I need to be in, but it is not the current working folder (apparently). Â This is also the case for xref's (when I go to attach a new dwg file).
Even after I change to the folder I want, and open a drawing from that folder, CAD reverts back to a folder I was in the day before.
When I start CAD, I use a shortcut icon that runs a startup script - so I'm not opening a drawing to start CAD, I actually just Start CAD from a shortcut to the program file.
AutoCad :: File - Open Brings Up Text Only In The Command Bar?
Jun 29, 2012My Autocad Civil 3D 2008 crashed and when I restarted it and tried to open a drawing the file open or save as just brings up text in the command bar asking me to specify the name of the drawing to open. Where have my opo up boxes gone? I have had this problem before and found a code to type in which restored it but now I can't find it.

its very annoying to paint or erase using the cross hatch as the exact area that will be covered is not shown!

Sep 25, 2013I´m trying to plot a picture with a hatch marking a area on the picture. I´m making a overview of the picture with the hatched area on it at scale 1:10000. And then i make smaller plots in scale 1:5000.
My problem is that depending on the scale the color changes (it´s darker in 1:10000).

Nov 25, 2013I have multiple surfaces representing topsoil, clay and types of bedrock, and an alignment set with sample lines and sections set. Trying to use the Compute Materials using material lists and the corresponding shape style to hatch between each surface something is going wrong. With all the display settings (Plan,Section,Profile,etc) set to by layer and on a created layer(not on 0). The shape area fill is set to solid. It will not display the hatch.

Jul 11, 2012I have an computer that suddenly can only open an .PDF file in Acrobat, and not in Illustrator. We have art files that are in PDF format, and Purchase Orders that are in PDF format. We would just drag the icon over the software we wished to open the file. In this case Illustrator for the art file and Acrobat for the P.O. As of today, PDF's only open with Acrobat and that's it. I know it's probably a setting I'm forgetting.

Photoshop :: Changing Colors Brings Up New Dialog With Swatches
Sep 17, 2012For some reason, when I try to change colors anywhere (it could be the color of text, or the main foreground color) a dialog with swatches appears instead of the eyedropper tool I'm used to using in this scenario. I can't click on anything else in the screen except the options in this annoying swatches dialog.

As this dialog won't tell me what the hexadecimal color values are (even when I click "Define Custom Colors"). As of right now, the project I was working on is stalled until I figure out how to make this thing go away and let me use the eyedropper tool to change the color of something.

This problem is new. I had my CS4 running since it came out and it never did this before.

Apr 6, 2011I am trying to annotate a floor plan to show the location/orientation of section, elevation and detail drawings. The labels must also indicate the appropriate drawing cross reference. (basically a circle with a arrow, text inside circle showing drawing cross reference). My question is - is there an automated way/library to insert such labels or do I have to create each of them from individual elements and make a block?

May 19, 2013I cannot get a color balance adjustment layer to come up. Every time I do photoshop creates a levels layer. Selecting levels makes a levels layer. All of the other adjustment layers seem to be working normally.

At first I thought maybe it couldn't'nt work with the dng format and then I tried opening a jpeg in the liquify filter, same problem.I've had no problems in CS5 and I'm working on the same computer.
