For example, if you had a black layer, and a white layer, how would you create an image that looked like this?
Preferrably without doing it the painstaking way of copy/pasting?
How can I make some art work have a cross hatch effect?
View 6 Replies View RelatedNot sure what I did.
When I open a new pic, it has a grid all over it.
Ctrl-H eliminates.
What did I do to make this happen?
I don't want this to happen <grin>.
i dont know why but sometimes my mouse cursor changes to a cross hatch rather than be an arrow or circle? why is it changing and how can i get it back to like a circle?
its very annoying to paint or erase using the cross hatch as the exact area that will be covered is not shown!
URL.... I cant set the hatch in quick cross section in the wall. I have installed sp1 for ACA 2013. It nothing change. I'm architect from Poland.I use Autocad Architecture five years.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have multiple surfaces representing topsoil, clay and types of bedrock, and an alignment set with sample lines and sections set. Trying to use the Compute Materials using material lists and the corresponding shape style to hatch between each surface something is going wrong. With all the display settings (Plan,Section,Profile, etc) set to by layer and on a created layer(not on 0). The shape area fill is set to solid. It will not display the hatch.

View 9 Replies View RelatedWhile processing a images from this past weekend taken with the 5D Mark III... Images taken at high ISO (6400 and 12,800) with no noise reduction show a very clear criss-cross pattern across the image faintly. Once you apply about 20 on the NR slider, it will go away. I do not see this with the in-camera JPEG's or with Canon's DPP software with no NR applied to the RAW files. Is this a known issue that will be corrected for the final release of 4.1?
Â
Here is a crop showing this happening. It is not limited to just dark or light parts of the image, but the entire thing.

Attached is a simple drawing of a round tube sitting on an imaginary level grade. I'm needing to develop a pattern to cut the bottom angle. I'm making a scale model and this is one of the elements. The scale is 1"= 10.66" so this round tube will be 4.5" in diameter. The angle is too gentle to cut in my horizontal band saw; can't fit it between the guides. Years ago, we used to grid out from a base line and develop a continuous curved line on flexible linoleum that when wrapped around the tube, would allow a line to be drawn on what would be my grade level line.
We would then cut the steel tube with a torch on said line. Did this for 24" to 90" diameter pipes. I need to do this for this one cut; I think I can get all the rest of the angles for the project on the saw. I'm hoping that the printable (can be done on more than one sheet if needed and taped together or something) paper pattern can be rendered easily, such as a sheet metal shop might develop a flat pattern for rolling or bending. I'm limited to legal size paper, 8.5 x 17". I'm using AC LT 2011 so I'm limited in my abilities.
I have added intermediate sample lines in my corridor. These sections appear in the section editor and I can make changes to the data. The changes show correctly in the section editor and section view, however, when I plot the cross sections some of these added stations do not show the overrides. They are showing the original assembly group parameters. How do I get all the cross sections to reflect the edited data from the section editor?

I have a bit of code that I use to create hatches but the names are just coded inside (like "BRICK" or "CLAY"); I would like to list all available patterns for the curent drawing(on a form, using a combobox, etc), which is the best way to go?

Im using AutoCAD 2012.
I am having a very strange issue that appears in the Materials editor within Revit 2013 Update Release 3. If I change a surface or cut hatch pattern within the editor, and then attempt to close out of the editor, go to a different material, or apply the change, the hatch dialog pops right back up again, as if I never closed it. I have found two ways to get out of this obnoxious loop:
Â
1. Use the 'esc' key to back out of the materials dialog (unfortunately no changes are saved).
Â
2. Change the color of the hatch - this allows for the changes to be applied etc.
Â
I've tried resetting the UI and reinstalling Revit to no avail.
I have created hatch in the same drawing but some hatch appears denser than other hatch yet they are all the same type of hatch, scale etc
I have changed the measurement variable from 0 - 1 but no luck
Any wave hatch pattern of know where I can download one. I have already been to [URL]........ but the files are only gifs.

View 3 Replies View RelatedIn architecture 2012, I'm trying to get the Hatch Pattern Dialog Box to come up to see if I have custom hatch patterns loaded.
They do not show up in the drop down menu in Hatch Creations.
How do I get the Hatch Pattern Dialog Box to come up?
I have a CAD station that is having all sorts of issues all of a sudden. When one of our architects opens her drawings she gets the "Hatch - Large, Dense Hatch Patterns" dialogue box.
When I we choose the "Do not convert these hatch patterns" and open the drawing, it converts all the hatch patterns to solid anyway. This is mostly affecting the walls and converting all the hatch into one solid blob of a hatch.
One weird thing is this only happens in the medium detail display configuration. I can go to any other display and it is fine. The other weird thing is that these same drawings open fine on any other computer so it has to be a system problem.
The other gremlin I solved yesterday was that the system all of a sudden was not recognizing the LTYPESHP.SHX file. I had to add the DataCache support folder containing a ltypeshp.shx file to the support file search path.
