Photoshop Elements :: How To Open And Edit Picture (using Raw File In Camera Raw)
Jun 24, 2013Every time I try to open and edit a picture (specifically using a raw file in camera raw) after double clicking on it to open it, I get this message, "could not complete your request because of a program error" I have tried over and ove again and it wont work!

Nov 14, 2012I just installed ACR 5.6 on my old Elements 7.0, hoping that it would allow me to upload RAW files from my Canon S100. I get a message saying something like "Cannot open file (filename.CR2) because it is the wrong type of file". Someone in another thread suggested that not all CR2 files are the same...that they're camera dependent. (It seems like they shouldn't be) Supposedly ACR 5.6 supports the Canon S90, which is 2 generations prior to the S100.
