I right clicked on an image to open it "with" photoshop. However, I accidentally selected the "Make Button.exe" option.
Is there any way to undo this? I am working on a mac and I did all this in the finder. So now my hi resolution image is only 75 X 50 pixels. I was using that file in after effects, so now I'm a bit screwed. Is there any way I can get the original image back?
ive been trying all day to get a decent button made for a jukebox program , the best i could do is attatched but its just still not right , im after a realistic looking button that looks like its on and off when pressed , off light blue/grey and on green , a nice metalic silver around the outside that looks a little 3d when small if thats possible i think im close but just need to be more realistic around the edges and lighting on the green on button i made the oblong button from the circle using the single selection line which i never new about , stretched one pixel across after splitting the circle in two , by the way if your after software for music this is a great program , if the right button is designed i could probably get it free or for a small amount its normally 50 bucks , if its a great button im sure ill get it free a squarer edge button would be better i think
I have created city/landscape artwork using photoshop line and box tools. If you go to URL... then click on the link that says (click here to view Gotham City) you will see one of the images I am talking about. Can this image be made to look the same in vector.
I have a .psd file that was created by someone else for my friends web page. The psd file is the background, logo, and navigational bar for her home page. Each button is a "slice" I think because there are lines around each button on the left side navigational bar (not a true navigational bar just created by buttons) and around the head and body etc. (The lines are blue if that tells you anything - each section is numbered with a little tiny icon that looks a little like the back of an envelope.)
My question - we wanted to change the word on one of the buttons - I did that saved the psd file - no problem. Then I cropped out the button that we had changed. When I saved it to the web (as a jpg) the button looks like a button (a box around it - not a line a raised area that looks like a button.) The other buttons do NOT look like a button (even though the layers are named buttons.)
How can I change it so it looks flat (not button like) like all of the rest of the items on the navigational bar.
I am growing increasinly frustrated. I just installed AutoCAD LT 2013 on my laptop. I managed to get everything customized the way I want, except the button icons on my (classic) toolbar are much too small. If I go into the menu and select 'use large icons', they are too huge. My screen resolution DOES NOT need to be changed or adjusted. I went to the help menu to see what I can do, and found that I can go into CUI and adjust the size of the button icons that way, via the button image editor, however there is no 'button image editor' dialog box when I select any given toolbar command.
to making Gifs, but just took some black text, made bg transparent, changed resolution from 300 to 72. text is huge so have to make it smaller with bicubic resample. but then text looks very jagged and awful,
I make brushes for sale. I make versions vor CS2+ and I make larger brushes for CS6+.
I think I should probably make the brushes in CS6 to be good for CC and CS6, but thought I'd ask if it's possible to just make them in CC. Would save me having to keep CS6 on my computer.
I do quite a bit of Photoshop work but it is simple. I am trying to re-create the look of this image but struggling on it. I did some that were close but the look was off.
The black layer is added in, any tips on how it is done and what tools are used to go around the relief so well?
for some weird reason all of a sudden the adjustments I make to my images in ACR are not carrying over when I open them in CS5. I've cheked the Adobe website to make sure I have the latest versions of both ACR & CS5 & I do. Any thoughts on how I can correct this? Very frustrating to adjust 10 - 15 wedding images in ACR then they're right back to the original image when I open them in CS5.
When I save photoshop documents on my Mac they are unable to be opened on windows. This happens roughly 60% of the time. The only way I have learned to resolve this problem is to create a new photoshop document, copy all of the layers into this new document, and save it again. The Mac is new - about three weeks old. We save all of our files on an external harddrive backed up on the Mac. All of our computers run CS6.
I have a rather lenghty action that was made for me in photoshop cs2. we just upgraded to cs3. is there any way to import this action from cs2 into cs3? or does it have to be re-written?
Is there a way to make text 3d and fold it round to make it look like each letter is a stone in stonhenge. I'm not worried about the colour or rendering but about how to do the control of the text either as text or converted to paths and then folding it into a circle so that letters at the front are facing into the circle?
I finally gave up and decided to join a forum, THIS forum! LOL.. Well anyways I would really like to know how to take a picture and put a filter on it or something so that that picture would be made of words. I remember seeing it before but I forgot what it was called, I think it has somethign to do with halftone.
I am trying to make warp text like this picture. But when I do "warp text" it never comes out like that. I try the different "lower and upper arc), my text becomes a little rounded at the bottom (its suppose to be straight). Is there a special to create this type of warp text?
I made a flyer in Photoshop, I saved it as a JPG. Then I went into my email client AOL to insert it into the body of the email to send out to my clientele. I sent it to myself first to check the resolution etc. The problem is I cannot get it to keep the orginal aspect ration within the email. I compared it to other flyers sent to me, that were produced in Photoshop, I checked all the specs and everything in them matched mine. When I put them into the email the retained their orginal format.
I'm having a problem saving changes to tiff files. Example: I open a new tiff (scanned image, 16 bits RGB, I duplicate the image, close the original unchanged. I then make simple changes, e.g. levels or calculations, and then "save as" with a new file name with the tiff extention. CS2 grinds away. When I open the new image it is the same as my original tiff, none of my adjustments are saved. I HAVE reset my preferences, no dice. I rebuilt my cache, no dice.
Standard Winxp2, I have a cache drive, computer has good speed and drive space,
This Part was created and given colors in CATIA. I now imported it into Photoshop to create some more realistic textures and what not to it. Although the original textures are still there.
Not sure how to just start fresh and make all new textures... basically what i want to know is if there is a way to delete these. They can all be edited but it takes time and effort to change all the names and stuff...
My user made cs5.1 actions have disappeared after an error message came up as PS was opening. None of the factory or user actions are there, and they were unsaved. Are they retrievable?
