Photoshop :: List Of Key Commands Out There?
Apr 15, 2004I'm looking for a list that describes the various key commands Photoshop employs. You know, like "V" is for the Move Tool, "L" is for the Lasso Tool, etc.

View 9 Replies View RelatedOne of them is to e-mail drawings to our clients but my boss doesn't want to send them the blocks we drew so I have to do the following for every drawing.
1) Freeze the Multileader layer (the numbers disappear and turn into some text whenever I explode them so I have to freeze this layer.
2) Select All
3) Explode (I explode it 2-3 times)
4) Select everything on 2-3 Layers only and block those and disable "Allow Exploding".
5) Save.
I just came up with this...
LAYER
K-Numbering
F
SELECT
ALL
EXPLODE
SELECT
ALL
EXPLODE
PURGE
QSAVE
Ran it, didn't do anything, figured as much since I pretty much threw those commands in there.Anyway, which book or site would have a list of commands I could "pluck" and use in the text file?
I'm assuming an AutoCAD script is just a sequential list of commands like the above without all the ++ -- {} syntax? If so, it shouldn't be too hard right?
How to get a list of commands and variables in AutoCad 2013. In the past I always got that from the help files, but it seems now that I cannot find in the help files in this new version of AutoCad 2013.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI created a command that I no longer use. I actually made a spelling error upon creating it "SUPECLOSE" and I want to delete it.
This is how I created this command: I typed in ALIASEDIT in order to add a new alias to a command.
I then clicked on the "Add" button.
In the "Alias:" field, I typed in "xx"
And in the "AutoCAD Command:" field, I typed in "SUPECLOSE" - which isn't actually an autoCAD command. "SUPERCLOSE" is the command I use to run a custom LISP routine that I created. Upon hitting pressing "OK" to this, AutoCAD prompted me with: "'SUPECLOSE' is a new command, Do you want to add this to your list of commands?"
I said yes. And then shortly afterwards realized the spelling error I had made. Problem is...I don't know how to access this list and delete the new command that I had just created (which does nothing).
Is there a list of obsolete commands / variables AutoCAD 2012?
AutoCAD Commands, variables, LISP commands, LISP variables?
I used to have an A1 printed sheet of all of the ilogic commands, functions, syntax or whatever you call them. It was all nicely grouped and colour coded etc
Unfortunately I have since moved jobs and lost this and neither me or google can find this again, any copy or link? it may have been a pdf or excel format.
I have some blocks (different exit signs) in a drawing. I want to make a table or excel sheet that sums up the number of equal blocks in the drawing. How can i make this?
I want to connect this tabel to excel 2010.
I use AutoCad LT 2012.
I have a list -
(setq List1 (list "Line A" "Line B" "Line C"))
I would like to add each item in an existing list to a new list -
(setq ListNew (list "This is some text" "This is more text"
the following is the part I can't figure out - it just adds the list to the list, not the individual items
(mapcar '(lambda (x) x) List1)))
I am looking for ListNew to be - (a list with 5 strings)
"This is some text"
"This is more text"
"Line A"
"Line B"
"Line C"
I use a setup with Shader List (Volume) with two mists. One regular and one to blur out the horizon. After working on the scene for some time I notice that the shader list now contains eight copies of the last shader. I think I would remember if I did that. So, whats up with the shader list?

I notice that recently hitting Key Commands in Photoshop like Command-M minimizes my open window to the dock instead of opening Curves? This used to work. The Keyboard Shortcuts as set in Photoshop correctly, but it is ignoring them and using the Finder shortcut instead?
Is there some way to use the command or option key to set control points within curves. Have to activate the little hand to get to do this. I could use the command key with click to set points I was sampling within image in previous 2 versions. Now have to use the hand, and it's to wiggy. Any thing I haven't seen to use commands?

View 3 Replies View Relatedjust installed CS on to my new computer, and all the key commands i use no longer work. For instance holding down the space bar to get the hand tool isn't working, holding down the shift key when i want to proportionally transform something doesn't work, holding down the apple/command key and the space bar to get the magnifying glass tool doesn't work, and so on...
I have seen under the Edit menu the keyboard shortcuts option, but i never set these short cuts up myself, they were just defaults in photoshop. When i was using CS on my old computer, the key commands i spoke of above worked fine....so what has changed? why don't they work anymore?
Is there a way to modify the DEFAULT SCALE LIST to show a metric scale list in an imperial template? I mean, I start a drawing using the imperial template, but i want to use the standard metric scales on paper space. on previous versions the scale list shown both imperial & metric. Now it depends of what the template is using.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm not that good at typing and when I make a mistake in Photoshop CS6, suddenly find myself in a strange place from which I often don't know how to return from. I use about twenty keystroke commands, but there are so many others I don't use and which cause me problems.
Is there someplace on CS6 to turn off those commands I never use?
In PS CS5 Extended latest version. I select all, then go to Select|Modify, and all choices are grayed out other than border. This is an 8 bit RGB image. The layer is selected. I also tried flattening it. I also tried creating a new image, RGB 8 bit depth. Also 16 bit. Nothing works.
I double checked CS3 and this works in CS3, but not CS5.
I loaded my legacy actions to Photoshop CC. They worked as usual until I loaded the PShop updater today. One of my own custom actions is F5 which adds a darken only layer. F5 now deletes the currently selected layer. I have looked though the keyboard command menus, and see MANY key command options.
I still am not seeing an F5 command to delete layer. Not sure how many other key commands have been added. I can foresee some very uninted results with actions I have spec'd that may now be superseded by new key commands. There seems to be a legacy option, but the interface to all of this seems a bit complex.
Instead of having to click OK to see the result then, if not happy, having to backtrack and try a variation any number of times, could we see the document updating as we change parameters in the dialogues of Stroke and Fill commands? This could be an option that the user can disable
View 7 Replies View RelatedPS not letting me edit some random commands before executing them, including Duplicate, Fill, Print Preview, Stroke...possibly others I haven't discovered. When I click the dropdown choice, an edit window used to let me tailor pixel widths, color, etc. (I know, [it's what] 'edit' means). Now, the little eyedropper icon replaces my cursor, all top menus are grey except 'View' and 'Window', I get that awful 'doont!' sound, and my only option is to just hit 'Enter' and it executes the command with whatever preferences I last set before this problem, usually of no present use to me. I have relaunched PS, restarted the computer with no other tasks and relaunched, and impotently shaken my fist at the screen to no avail.

I want to do the same things in my few other images.
How I can extract actions/commands from the PSD file?
So I can apply same things with my few images.
I want to know what has been done with image (jpg) file.
Capture the following keyboard commands:
CTRL + A
EDIT > TRANSFORM > FLIP HORIZONTAL
CTRL + D
And save it as an Action called am_Flip_Horizontal.atn. Then how would I go about loading that action automatically each time PS boots and assigning a keyboard shortcut to it (say, CTRL + /) ?
I notice that some Actions are black, some are red. Some have a checkmarks and others have toggle icons. I think I have the concept down, but just not the how-to knowledge.

Toolbox shortcut commands no longer work in PS CS2. Any command that I try to execute in PS generates a "program error" message, including trying to exit the program. Now I have to go into Task Manager and "kill" it in there to get out of it. Images and changes will not save.
I have deleted the PS preferences and rebooted. I un-installed and re-installed PS. Same problem. Only happens in PS, not InDesign.
I can click directly on the toolbox to activate a certain tool, but this is so painfully slow.
