I want to create my own clip art from scratch using Photoshop.
What is the best method for doing this? (I'm assuming clip art is created by using the various drawing and paint tools and saved in GIF format.).
I have Video Studio Pro X2. When creating a DVD, I would like to select an Introduction Video other then the first video clip. This is the video that runs on the DVD template when you first insert the DVD and have the menu on the screen. I video taped a wedding and I would like the Intro video to be of the bride and groom which is not the first video clip on the DVD.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI am completely baffled by what is happening to my text. I am using a Windows 7, 64 bit computer and CorelDraw X6, and am trying to create a 3" round button graphic. About two weeks ago, I created a photo button and wanted to put white text on top of the button. This worked fine, and I sent the proof to the client.
They wanted to change the text and so I went in to change the text to what they wanted. That's when things went weird... Now, when I retype the text to insert it on the round path, I position it and then when I click off the text, the text is no longer white, but rather it has an orange outline and no fill!
I look at the color boxes and yes, the fill is white with no outline. I am no expert by far, but have been using Corel for many years. I do notice that whenever Windows does their little "updates" my computer gets wonky and they did about two of those updates in the last two weeks.
Today, I did a system restore back to 9/12/12, but it is still happening.
What would be the short cut key for creating a gap effect of the clip on the track below?

View 3 Replies View Related1. I put a clip in a timeline , then i put a cfx clip on top of the first clip. Add axis clip to cfx clip, set transparancy to 100% (fully transparent) , when hit render , this cfx is still calculated.
2. if i have stack of cfx clips, the clips are solid (no matte or transparancy ). one clip is on top of the other. In the top layer , i add a axis fx and cut a very small hole. We can see even a very small hole ( that will exposed small part of the bg ) will trigger smoke to render both of the clip full frame. Actually i only will see small part of the BG so i'm expecting smoke to render only that visible pixel. How to control this ? In some case i will waste my time waiting smoke to render part that i don't need.
I have an old clipart disc from the 80's but it will not open in PS.I do not have illustrator I would like to be able to get a good disc with just clipart on it that I can use in PS, is there any out there. I have been considering ArtExplosion but I hear that is mostly vector based......

View 2 Replies View Relatedlet's say I have a picture of a girl on a horse. It is for the cover of a magazine. But the picture is proportioned to where a masthead would cover up her head. How do I do that effect where I can clip out her head and shoulders so that it will show up on the top over the text, while still retaining the entire background? So it will basicaly look like her head covers up part of the text. And can I do that so that I can export it into a layout program like Quark and it will retain that setting?

I select the truck wanted from the photograph, I want to save the image of the truck only (subtracting the background such as sky, pavement, other cars and ect.) so that I may insert it into a word document wraping text around the jagged edges of the truck, not a bunch of squared off white or transparent space for a brochure. I have CS5.5 version.

Using the tutorial on page 2 of Animated Text in PS (using 6.0), I am not getting the desired result. Ctr/Alt click on the line between the text and image layer only results in dancing ants around text. It does not cut the image as in your example.
If the cursur is place low I get: Group with previous (in history); if it is placed evenly on the line I get Load selection.
I'm looking for (specifically) for Victorian border clip art, frames with tops, bottoms, and sides, in color. So far after scanning zillions of sites from a Google search, nothing of quality.
I'm not averse to buying the CDs, just that I don't often use Victorian...
I was just playing around and wanted to put a text layer on top of another layer, I hit a problem with drop shadows though.
I would like the drop shadow only to appear on the bottom layer, at present it drops some of the shadow into what is empty space

Arh seems I can not upload images yet, well think of a transparant background
layer one is an oval disk and layer two is some text.
The text starts half way up the disk and reaches above it, I want to get rid of the drop shadow that is above the disk.

I had to convert all clips to smart objects it seems to adjust highlights.
I had rendered the project once to 1080P but forgot part of one clip and dragged it into PS.
It is the exact same size but is not positioned correctly and I lose part of the right edge.
I thought it would fix itself with rendering it to 1080P as the image and canvas size are identical and from the same shoot--but it didn't.I hit "fit in screen" or actual pixels but not sure that matters.

As you can see I'm just playing around w/ the effect/amounts etc.
I had to manually apply this effect at every frame in the Photoshop's Timeline, which takes a to long... I would love to do it to whole clips. What's the best workflow for that?
A way I tried w little success before was to split the clip into individual frames, (forget how to do that) & then apply a batch command to all the pics, I remember trying this method & it not working w/ Oil Paint effect.
