I am trying to make an animated gif for tumblr in PSE 10. I'm very new to this and I don't understand what I am doing wrong. The gif only includes like 15 frams but when I go to Save for web or whatever the animation button is disabled.

I have bought yet another Elements and this one doesn't work any better than the last one did on Windows 7. I am sick of wasting money and time! Last time I was out the money and just had to continue using Windows Movie Maker.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe movie clips in my "project" are not playing the audio. Yes, volume is on and I have ensured that the volume is all the way up and that the "mute" option has not been selected. Screen cap is attached of the video tab.
When I click on the individual "clip" the sound works no problem. The other audio files are also working no problem.
I should mention that the original file was an IFO file from a Sony Handicam that I converted to AVI which I dragged into the program.
why the clips are not playing the audio?
Any way to produce a feathered edge to a movie clip? Similar to what people often do with photographs where the outer say 30pixels fade to transparent. Can't find any way to do it in VS X2 or in virtualdub.

All seems very very familar...similar etc and not asking it to do anything out of the ordinary which 11+ couldnt cope with ( just nowadays using all this AVCHD malaky etc )
Question -Main menu of my dvd - Why am I getting on my main menu page the begininings of my movie!!! I have my main menu setup ( bringing in a pre-made 30second clip on which I will put 'Press Play to watch movie' and/or 'chapter select'. ) When i preview my main menu page...I see the 30second clip i wanted but as it runs so too does my actual movie - at the same time.
I cant seem to find a button to ..basically..tell it not to play the movie as soon as you load the dvd but instead to wait until the 30 second main menu runs and automatically reruns etc until YOU decide to press the 'Play movie' button.
I'm aware that you can create animated gifs using gimp.Is it possible to make a short movie using gimp? such as for youtube?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have uploaded a trail version of X4 and so far so good. I am importing canon 7d footage and so far no problem. The problem is that the "Make Movie Templates Manager" seems to be playing up when rendering to MOV MPEG4 as I cannot change the "Quality" bar of the options, meaning it does change on the template options but the rendered file is either to small and visually bad or its the other extreme where the file size is the same size as the imported file. So in otherwards the "Quality" slider has no effect only extreme left or right. I have the smart render switched off as per other posts I have been reading to try and troubleshoot. Deleteing the template and recreating it also seems to do nothing. It's like it saves the setting and does not allow further changes at all!
The footage from the camera is 1920x1080 23.976fps. Setting also attached as temp3.
Attached is the settings for the templates. If I can't have control over the render settings, then what is the point of buying this product. I have also tried the presets and there is a noticable decline in quality especially when it comes to motion i.e pans or zoom out, they become jittery. The mov container seems not to be affected when rendered with this degradation..
I am new to Photoshop. Once I have all my movie clips arranged, how do I proceed to make a DVD?

1280x720 8000kbps WMV
1920x1080 8000kbps WMV
1280x720 8000kbps MPEG-4
1920x1080 8000kbps MPEG-4
And have everything in those templates configured just the way I need them to produce a consistent result that meets my needs.
My question is, how do I export or backup those 4 custom created templates so I can re-load them if I either reinstall the X4 that I have or use them in the new license of X5 that I have ordered for my other machine?
I modified some properties of the underlying templates that were used as the basis for some of those above, but don't know all the details as it was rather a confusing process. But I believe it was one of the ULEAD entries that I tweaked in order to get the proper options available to me in the template.
Bottom line is, I have it all setup and just want to be able to load those setups into X4 or X5 when I complete and install.

When i make a GIF on websites, either the quality is really bad or its really choppy. I recorded a small clip with FRAPs, so the quality isn't bad. I've never worked with GIF's before, so im kind of clueless.
I tried it on Photoshop but it ended up looking realllllly bad. I uploaded the video to Youtube.

I know how to make a video clip on a set path, but lets just say you create a road and a couple of houses next to it i kinda want to walk over the road/sidewalk like it were a game.

Kind of at my wits end with this software. Decided to give it a proper test on a job involving some wire removal and a bit of 3D comping. Every day brings hourly crashes, corrupted sequences, black frame renders, inability to archive projects, on and on. It's like every shot on this project is a minefield of troubleshooting and trying to find workarounds just to get a render complete. I'm spending easily an extra 20 hours a week just trying to overcome problems with the software.
Now I've got a sequence that I literally spent 4 hours on and just trying to open it brings smoke to a hard crash. Trying to make a cfx clip of the sequence takes half an hour to save so I've only been doing that once a day.

I'm a complete newbie and I'm trying to design some T-shirts using public domain clip art of old woodcuts and pen and ink illustrations. I want to have them printed by an online site. The trouble I'm having is making the image transparent so that the black line art is solid but the color of the t-shirt shows through. the illustrations are so intricate it is impossible to use the magic wand or erase the white area within the illustration. Is there a simple way to do what I want to do?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm inside cfx where at the end of my network , i attach resize and set bit depth to 10 bit. Then i create a cfx node. The cfx node now cannot be rendered. After finish rendering, it will be back to unrendered state. The project setting itself is set to 16 bit fp. If i set that resize using the same 16 bit , then cfx clip has no problem.
