I am wondering if it is possible with an 3D autocad design to make a 'free roam' kind of walk through the design.
I know how to make a video clip on a set path, but lets just say you create a road and a couple of houses next to it i kinda want to walk over the road/sidewalk like it were a game.
Is that possible within the autodesk software range? Or do i need to transfer a design to an game engine and go from there?
Is it possible to record a video clip (avi/wmv/MPG) of free 3d orbit shaded animation what you see on autocad screen (without specifing particular path).
There are animation settings in 3dorbit right shortcut menu, but it doesn't have option for recording a video clip.
I have installed X6 and it runs fine. However the option: save as still image is not available any longer. How I can make an image from my video clip?

As you can see in the picture i have a light blue background that has a circular shaped mask, and everything happens inside this mask in multiple layers on the back.
my problem is i want this mask to be animated, and to have a watercolor felling. so i thought of using video footage of ink, you know the typical video of ink falling into water and sort of expanding.
i have no problem making the video appear inside the ink stain, but my question is: is there a way to make a video follow the shape of an object? so i can make this ink footage adapt to different mask forms, for example a circle or a triangle, or even more complicated forms like, i dont know a human silhouette?
i am thinking something that stretches the video along a path with the shape of the object may be the solution.
Working with a 1080p/60fps mp4 file from my GoPro 3. Trying to save a trimmed clip using "same as first video clip" option. Everything seems to work fine but the saved clip plays for a second and then the video freezes but the audio continues. This happens playing the clip with WMP and VSx6. The original untrimmed mp4 plays fine.

After a lot of fiddling about (VideoStudio didn't recognize my camcorder) I was able to see my video clips in VideoStudio by placing my memory card in an external card reader. Whilst all the clips appear, VideoStudio informs me that there are no valid video clips.

Footage filmed with a panasonic cam, using Pro 6, when I hit share tab - create video file - I have many choices but I would like to save it as high format as the original, so do I hit , (Same as First Video Clip) or (AVCHD) both are nearly the same I'm guessing, I've saved in both formats and both ended up been the same size. What one I should save to ? I have added the properties of the original file.

However regardless of what I used, the wind was so bad that day the video footage was useless.I figured that would be the case the day I was shooting so I took out my Sony still camera and shot a series of still shots panned.I now need to take those still shots and make it appear as though it is video panning from the sign to the building. I then can lead that into a video that did come out good of the front of the building.In VSX4, ?I have done similar before by trimming the time and adding crossover, but it just does not look "good".

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm having serious issues in Illustrator CS5 trying to import SVG files with nested clip-path properties.
Illutrator seems to create unnecessary groups, and messes up with group parents, effectively screwing things up.
Here is a minimal example :

Such a valid SVG file displays fine in Chrome, IE, Opera, Firefox, but Illustrator fails loading it properly, because it creates two groups between "main" and "piece-1" (which is in itself not too bad), and sets piece-1 as a brother of another unnecesarry group from which piece-2 will descend. piece-2 and piece-1 are then clipped with piece-1 clip-path, which is just plain wrong and screws display.
Note that you can move piece-2 to the root of the document, which restores the display. But save this fixed file, and open it again : it"s back to its broken state.
Does anoyone know if this is fixed in CS6 ? If there is a workaround ?
I'm trying to set up a script that will grab a group of objects and turn them into a compound path, then apply a clipping mask to the compound path and the next group in the layer.

I had to convert all clips to smart objects it seems to adjust highlights.
I had rendered the project once to 1080P but forgot part of one clip and dragged it into PS.
It is the exact same size but is not positioned correctly and I lose part of the right edge.
I thought it would fix itself with rendering it to 1080P as the image and canvas size are identical and from the same shoot--but it didn't.I hit "fit in screen" or actual pixels but not sure that matters.

View 1 Replies View RelatedUsing LR4.4 on Windows7 64-bit Pro, and I am new to video. I shot a 1 minute segment and used the tools in Lightroom to trim that to about 16 seconds. I made no other changes in QuickDevelop. Then I exported to a location on my hard drive, specifying "Original" in the format choice.
The file that emerged was the full 1 minute length when inserted in ProShow Gold and ran the full clip as shot.
I have looked over the video tools documentation and it seems to confirm that length is a parameter of export. Why the file that exported retained the original length?
I have a video that has an object with a logo on it I need removed. If I could work with each frame like in PS, it would be a 2 second fix for each frame. Does Premiere have a feature like this, or how do the pros blur out or delete unwanted logos or images that infringe on copyrights quickly and easily?

Upon checking the file's Properites, it says that it is a 24 byte file... this can't be right. In the Export Settings window it says that it's several gigabytes!
I'm using a custom built PC, running the most up-to-date version of Windows 8. I have a quad-core Intel Ivy Bridge Processor, AMD HD Radeon 7770 GPU, 8 GB of 1600 MHz RAM, a 256 GB SSD running the OS and frequently used applications, and a 1 TB HDD. I am running Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and it is completely up to date.
I have been digitally converting old VHS, 8mm, and miniDV tapes. I have a digtial converter that has Composite ports and an S-Video port on it. It connects to the computer via USB. I have a program called Debut Video Capture that records the video and saves it as an uncompressed .mp4 video file. Premiere Pro also has another issue where the audio and video are always out of sync because it can't seem to handle videos with variable framerates, so, I open the videos in Quicktime 7 Pro, and save them as a Reference Movie—This makes it so the videos are at a constant framerate. I take these files and import them into Premiere Pro. My sequence is DV - NTSC Standard 48kHz (the videos are all in an old 4:3 format). I'll drop the clips into the timeline and edit them, edit out the blue screens and splice different clips and such, lower the volume, and slightly increase the Scale in the Video Effects.
When everything is done... I'll open up the Export Settings.
I set the Format to H.264 and Preset to NTSC DV or NTSC DV Widescreen depending on the ratio of the video. Some of the videos are very long (1 Hour or longer... one video is almost 4 hours long). I will go down to the Bitrate Settings and change the Bitrate Encoding to CBR, and set the Target Bitrate to a reasonably high number. I try to have a minimum of 10 Mbps, or if the video isn't that large, I'll set it to 14. If the Estimated File Size is over like 3 GB (I'm not sure of the number, but it works for these long videos when they're under like 3 GB). If the videos go over, they'll encode for an hour or longer and when it's done, it will save and appear as a 24 byte file.
The only thing I've got is to make the Target Bitrate very small, that's the only way the videos will encode, but then the quality degrades...

As you can see I'm just playing around w/ the effect/amounts etc.
I had to manually apply this effect at every frame in the Photoshop's Timeline, which takes a to long... I would love to do it to whole clips. What's the best workflow for that?
A way I tried w little success before was to split the clip into individual frames, (forget how to do that) & then apply a batch command to all the pics, I remember trying this method & it not working w/ Oil Paint effect.
