I have converted old Family movies to DVD and am trying to download into Photoshop to edit and burn copys can this be done? Try to get done before christmas for family gifts.

After 3 hours of converting file the burn said failed with no explaination. So I then made a file of the movie. Opened vs3 again and tried to burn the saved file which was an mpg format to disc. The program doesn't recognize mpg files only vsp files. The program made the mpg file. So how do I burn the mpg file to disc?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm new to video editing and also VS X4, but have been able to create a movie from Canon HFM 301 camera using imported clips (AVHCD). The total movie length is 1:25. When I go to burn disc, it informs me it is too long and canot fit on a single disc (4.7 GB) but there seems to be no alternatives available, for example, how to compress, etc. Do I have to manually create a second movie for a second disc? Are there settings or another step I need to take?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI took a promo portrait of a book author that needs to be in color and b&w depending on where it will be used (b&w on the book sleave, color on a flyer, etc). I have a vitual copy for the b&w image which has different contrast settings, otherwise they are identical. Normally I only have one photo to deal with if I need to use Photoshop, and it's aways my last step. This is a little different in that if I don't want to adjust the contrast on the edit, I will have to eyeball the same brush strokes both copies, which will never exactly match. Is there any way to do an identical Photoshop "Liquify" edit on both?

Adobe Elements 9 works fine on the desktop but when i try to print from the laptop a box appears saying 'could not complete your request because an error occured while printing' All other programs print fine from the laptop, Paint, Word, PDFs. Have uninstalled and cleaned registry before reinstalling, But still cant print with Adobe.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have been going through my catalog & find hundreds of old pictures what I should delete as they will almost certainly never be looked at or used again. If they were to be reused I could probably only need a copy that was much smaller in size. Rather than just delete them I was considering making the files size much smaller.
Is there any way yo use the batch processing tool to resize hundreds & have them saved by overwriting the old copy rather than have them as a version set? I didn't want to do this one at a time.
I want to rename multiple files, but each time I try, it creates two copies of each file, and as they are numbered sequentially, I cannot just delete the extra ones at once. I don't understand why it does this, and how I can avoid it!

When i edit a picture and save it, it saves both copies in my organizer as edited rather than leaving the original as is.

Using Photoshop 11 & elements trial 11 how do I burn a cd/dvd of 400 images? I created a slide show, saved it, & want to put it on a cd or dvd to send it to someone. the trial version of elements 11 puts the "trial version" stamp across each photo. is this the only way to put images on a cd/dvd?

View 1 Replies View RelatedRight clicked on an album for "Export to DVD" and a little preview window opened & downloaded 360 images for 10-12 minutes, it closed, then I put a DVD in the tray & the program automatically started to burn to it for about 10 seconds. I checked the DVD and it only had nine images.
Tried the whole process again and got 7 images on this DVD. Why won't all 360 images in the album burn to the DVD [when they apparently all download to the "Preview" window?
I have Elements 8 and burning photos to a CD/DVD is very easy to do. who just bought a new computer and Elements 10 is on it. I tried on her version, but I couln't find how to do it. I couldn't even find a video tutorial on how to do it in Elements 10. She has not created an account yet - could that prevent access to the Adobe TV tutorials. I have had my version for two years and I forgot how I set it up.
