I am trying to create some funky text in photoshop 5.5 but I am new to the software.
Could someone plz give me some useful tutorial links on create text in photoshop?
I need example and step by step instructions.
I'm wanting to create transparent text over a picture with only the outline of the text showing. So basically, I need to only see the stroke of the text and have be picture show thru from behind.

Notice how the text box is now much larger than the text displayed. I would like to make this text box as wide as the guide aligned with the "Donate" box.

I wonder if it is possible to create a new text style where one can set the text to be already rotated.
I know that it is possible to rotate text in many ways but the styles always seem to be set on the horizontal to begin with.

The box AROUND the text needs to remain white....so that ONLY the text is transparent. The effect would be that the text would appear to be cut out of the photos behind it.
So in other words, I need to end up with a big white box that has text on top of it. Then the text in that box is transparent and shows photos underneath both layers (including the white)
I would like to resize a letter using the transform tool in Photoshop. I am thinking the best way to do this would be to change it to a graphic.. I am using layers so do I need to flaten the image first then bring it into my layout to do this? Which means I could scale it before or after bringing into my layout...

1. I've exported my project as a pdf. Some of the text is not selectable at all. That is, the cursor won't even highlight the text in the pdf file.

View 11 Replies View RelatedAnyway, my quest is to create an action in CS3 that will position and size text (eg. center) as a watermark in any size image. Currently I am creating a copyright symbol, then a text layer and then another text layer and either grouping them in the action or merging them down as created to be in one layer. This works fine as long as I run the action on another file of the same size but when it comes across a different size file the components are all over the place and differently sized.
