Sep 1, 2013I have a file made by a friend as a jpeg file whidh I have imported in photoshop 5. I would like to make some changes in the text in the file. How do I do it?

May 18, 2013I have loaded pictures from PSE 11 to my face book page but it only gives me 1 of 3 options. I load one pic it goes onto my timeline as normal or it will let me select on of 2 albums or create a new album. I have like 8 albums on my facebook how do I find or choose my designated folder with it only giving me the option for 2 the 2 I don't wish to load any more pictures to. I see it if there is not an option I'd need to save it to my windows view/folder and upload them that way.

Nov 29, 2012I can't believe this is still an issue in CS6. When you have multiple text layers stacked near or in between each other, its impossible to lock the layer so that it can no longer be selected. Even if the layer is locked, the TYPE tool is still able to select it. This makes its a super pain in the tail to edit text near each other. Is there a way to make the text layers lock and NOT be selectable?
Instead of locking a layer and not being able to select it with the type tool, a pop-up telling us that its locked come up?

Jun 25, 2012I transfer my adjustments from lightroom to photoshop for additional editing. The adjustments show in the new Photoshop file. However, when I make a selection from that file and copy and paste it into a different Ps file, it does not show the adjustments. I even tryed saving the adjusted photoshop file as a jpeg and then opening it up and reselecting what I want.....Copy and paste it.....and the adjustments still don't appear on the different Ps file/photo. How can I keep the adjustments made in lightroom as a selection to copy and paste to a new file?

The album company will accept psd files or jpegs.
The jpegs need to be at least 30MB. The psd file sizes are around 108MB.
When I save them as jpeg at the highest quality I am not getting anything larger then 10MB.
I am trying to avoid having to upload 32 psd files thru ftp.

Jun 29, 2013When running a batch I have an existing file open and then an action which opens a pre exisiting file that i Drop images into to give boarders and logos.
When I run the action it drops image into the PSD in the correct area and the file looks correct , then in turn it saves the Original file and not the one the batch ran on even thou the file was worked on and edited on CS6. So in a sense it saves the Original File with the correct File naming when ran in the Batch Image processor.

Saved File name
OUT_9035-12x18-2013.PSD
Still with nothing done to the saved file execpt the name change.

I am wondering if there is a way to create a text style, library or whatever with the created "text". There can be hundreds of characters on a single drawing so importing and aligning and placing each object 1 at a time is very slow and painstaking.

When converting an IFC file (which is created in All plan) components disappear from the model and some components ( not all ) get a other category assigned (not all floors together etc.). This is what happens in Revit 2013 but in Revit 2011 we did not have this problem.
Are there already improvements/solutions to work better with IFC files?The orange colored walls and the transparant floor ( V3 ) are invoked differently than the others.When I “bind” the IFC file now Revit makes the components disappear.
Illustrator :: File Creator Made Up Font
Nov 25, 2013I inherited an AI file that I need to work with. The main project is text and I can't (or don't know how) to identify the existing font.
So my question is, is it possible that the file creator made up the font in Illustrator? I tried the find font tool, and also when I try to import the file into photoshop it opens as a flattened image. How would I know if they did in fact create the font?

Feb 2, 2012Basically we have a number of different procedures that need to be written in each drawing. Each drawing uses one of 5 or so procedures. Usually we type it out every time which is a pain or copy paste. We also tried making word documents and inserting them that way but it got a little buggy. Is there any way to have 5 or so pre made text blocks to pick which to insert onto different types of drawings but that can be global used across a few systems?
We have a small group of workers all on the vault server. Basically I just want to be able to have a finished drawing. Click something that will open a list of my pre made text blocks, and insert one into the drawing that I can scale etc. We use Inventor 2011.

1. Open up picture in Paint.net
2. Make new layer
3. Type what i want on the new layer
4. I click effects->stylize->outline
5. adjust the settings
6. Boom, my picture is gone with the text looking gargled.
What is the correct way of adding outline to text?I tried the plugins and they do not work.
