i am working on a project right now, that involves working with someones trademark.... well their logo with a design. this person , and i dont know how to go about it, he doesnt want someone to steal his logo...

I would like to insert a registered trademark, but how? I am basically using the text tool and then I want to click that magic button put in my registered trademark and then continue to use the text tool (keep typing text). Can someone help direct me how I can get the registered trademark. I am using Photoshop CS (the best).

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to add a small registered trademark to an existing logo. I have the front and the matte of the logo which I take in to paint. While in paint, I add the registered trademark using the text brush within the graphics option. However, I can't seem to get the matte of the trademark and the existing matte of the logo to show up when I view the matte it's either one or the other - not together. So when I render, I'm not getting both the original logo and the trademark rendered with both mattes. For now, I've just composited the two in Action so I can move forward with my work but I would like to know how to do this in paint.

View 2 Replies View Related40+ years ago I bought a book from a dealer who sold antique Scottish books. It is A4 in size and has 400 B/W photographs of Scotland.
There is no date in the book but the pictures are late 19th century & early 20th century. There is a reference in it regarding the opening of a new railway line. That line was opened in 1908 and I'm guessing the book is circa 1910.
A few years ago I scanned into my computer several of the views. Like a lot of early photographs the skies are almost non existent. I took out the castles, bridges, etc and made up my own skies in KPT 6.
The finished results are A3 in size.
My question is - is the copyright still valid on the book or am I free to do whatever I want with them?
By the way the company who photographed and published the book is still in existence. Also I'm from Scotland but I'm curious as to how the book would stand regarding copyright throughout the world.
I had to re-insatll Adobe Production Studio Premium CS3 on the same computer. When I now start up any Adobe application such as Photoshop I notice on the logo/loading screen that my name who it is registered to is no longer their.What file/folder do I need to update? or can I re apply my name so I can see it once again on the logo/loading screen.
View 3 Replies View RelatedAlmost a month ago I purchased Photoshop CS6 for Windows from isoftware.co.uk (in thr UK) and received an Adobe Licence Reference and a Product Serial Number. I downloaded the trial from the Adobe site and chose to immediately activate it with the Product Serial Number. All seemed to go through fine but when I now check the Adobe 'Myaccount' it does not show that the product is registered to me. What do I need to do to reactivate the product and ensure that Adobe acknowledge it as registerd to me?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am with CS5's enhanced brush engine - the great new media brushes...BUT, when using them, and a wacom intuos4 tablet, with the canvas rotated - where the cursor is when stroking is not where the pixels created by brushing go. Very frustrating. The greater the rotation of the canvas, the greater the offset is. It's hard to know where the pixels will appear when I put pen to tablet and stroke. Makes it impossible to accurate, well-controlled brushing.I'm forced to stop using the Rotate Canvas tool with media brushes and the Rotate Canvas tool is incredibly useful for freehand painting/drawing (I rotate my paper every which way while drawing on actual paper.)

I have a sheet set that i have been adding sheets to for a couple weeks and inserting fields to reference page numbers and titles. I installed service pak2 today and now all of a sudden I am not able to insert fields. I get an AutoCAD warning that says " there are no registered modules to edit fields or demand loading is currently disabled. I have not changed a single setting other then loading service pak. This sheet set is over a 150pgs right now.

I created a new version of DaylightBench subassembly with a different class library application on .net for c3d 2009.
I added the tool data to C3D Metric Transportation Subassembly Catalog.atc. Tool is listed on Subassembly catalog and i can copy-paste the tool to Tool palette.
But on tool palette when i try to drag it to drawing it gives the error "tool is not registered". error msg is attached.
can it be about the resource fileds on ATC file eg: resource="1302" or the new GUID values?
I've been using X3 for about 5 years.Today, I can't open the program.... a message appears
"Unable to create a DOM document.Class not registered Verify that MSXML4 is installed."
I have no idea what this message means. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled, rebooted and still the same message comes up. I use this program almost everyday, so, of course, now I'm unable to produce art for clients.

So i have managed to get my VBA apps working up to version 2010 (with the AcFocusCtrl). I just upgraded to AutoCAD 2012. For some reason I cannot get the ACFocusCtrl on my VBA userform. When I try to drag it onto the userform, I get an error "Class Not Registered". how I can load that control?

Granted, I know that the watermark is there to prevent a picture as being claimed by someone else. However if that picture is changed and no longer the original, is it then fair game to remove the watermark?
I created a custom brush with my logo on it and then created an action that puts my copyright logo as watermark. The problem is copyright logo gets placed on different places on different size image. For example, I created the action to put logo on the lower right hand corner of a standard 800x640 pixel horizontal image. When I run this action on a vertical image, logo gets placed somewhere on the top. If the image is in higher resolution, logo gets placed somewhere in the middle.
How can I modify the action so the copyright logo gets placed in the same place? I guess I am thinking if there is a way I could calculate the image size and put the logo from certain percentage away from the lower end corner automatically?

It's an e-commerce site for some sports related jewelry that he made, and he wants to protect the logos we worked on and the site design. What I've usually seen are people slapping a copyright date on their work and calling it good. However, I don't think that's really going to protect anything from being ripped off. I'm looking at websites and what it looks like is that I have to get an attorney and file some paperwork with the US Copyright Office.

There is a company that is selling it on a flashdrive and they claim that it doesn't have to be activated but the help files have been removed and the software cannot be undated.I asked the company about the software and they claimed it is legal.
