I downloaded Photoshop CS6 Extended and had registered, but I wanted to check if I have done it properly and if my PS is already registered. The question is how do I check? It is the extended version when I start PS, and I can see the 3D tab between View and Filter, but when I click on it, everything else is grey and I can't click it.

When I now start up any Adobe application such as Photoshop I notice on the logo/loading screen that my name who it is registered to is no longer their.What file/folder do I need to update? or can I re apply my name so I can see it once again on the logo/loading screen.
View 3 Replies View RelatedAlmost a month ago I purchased Photoshop CS6 for Windows from isoftware.co.uk (in thr UK) and received an Adobe Licence Reference and a Product Serial Number. I downloaded the trial from the Adobe site and chose to immediately activate it with the Product Serial Number. All seemed to go through fine but when I now check the Adobe 'Myaccount' it does not show that the product is registered to me. What do I need to do to reactivate the product and ensure that Adobe acknowledge it as registerd to me?

I have upgraded to Adobe Creative Cloud and installed PhotoShop extended CS6 using Adobe Application Manager as recommended. It didn't ask me if I wanted to upgrade or do a new install for PhotoShop. So now I CS6 running with no Plug-ins. I need my plugins! LOL.

I tried pointing to additional plugins in the CS6 preference to the CS5 plugin folder. Upon Launch it gave me a whole slew of error messages saying something cant load or launch C+ runtime error or what not. It does open up, but it only gives access to Nik and Topaz. OnOne doesn't show up under filters or extensions.

So, what are my options?

Just copy the plugins from CS5 to CS6?

I dont't want to reinstall all the plugins to CS6 if I don't have to as I've auto updated them over time to current versions online, so only have installation files for my original purchases.
I am with CS5's enhanced brush engine - the great new media brushes...BUT, when using them, and a wacom intuos4 tablet, with the canvas rotated - where the cursor is when stroking is not where the pixels created by brushing go. Very frustrating. The greater the rotation of the canvas, the greater the offset is. It's hard to know where the pixels will appear when I put pen to tablet and stroke. Makes it impossible to accurate, well-controlled brushing.I'm forced to stop using the Rotate Canvas tool with media brushes and the Rotate Canvas tool is incredibly useful for freehand painting/drawing (I rotate my paper every which way while drawing on actual paper.)

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a sheet set that i have been adding sheets to for a couple weeks and inserting fields to reference page numbers and titles. I installed service pak2 today and now all of a sudden I am not able to insert fields. I get an AutoCAD warning that says " there are no registered modules to edit fields or demand loading is currently disabled. I have not changed a single setting other then loading service pak. This sheet set is over a 150pgs right now.

I'm trying to add a small registered trademark to an existing logo. I have the front and the matte of the logo which I take in to paint. While in paint, I add the registered trademark using the text brush within the graphics option. However, I can't seem to get the matte of the trademark and the existing matte of the logo to show up when I view the matte it's either one or the other - not together. So when I render, I'm not getting both the original logo and the trademark rendered with both mattes. For now, I've just composited the two in Action so I can move forward with my work but I would like to know how to do this in paint.

I added the tool data to C3D Metric Transportation Subassembly Catalog.atc. Tool is listed on Subassembly catalog and i can copy-paste the tool to Tool palette.
But on tool palette when i try to drag it to drawing it gives the error "tool is not registered". error msg is attached.
can it be about the resource fileds on ATC file eg: resource="1302" or the new GUID values?

So i have managed to get my VBA apps working up to version 2010 (with the AcFocusCtrl). I just upgraded to AutoCAD 2012. For some reason I cannot get the ACFocusCtrl on my VBA userform. When I try to drag it onto the userform, I get an error "Class Not Registered". how I can load that control?Â

Subsequent to that I have purchased CS4 and of course, as expected, CS4 Extended does not recognise the serial number. I had thought that by entering a valid serial number for CS4 that some of the features of the trial Extended version would be deactivated but this appears not to be the case. Does this mean I have to uninstall the Extended version and then install CS4 from the CD or will simply running and installing CS4 from the CD overwrite the Extended version?

CS3 worked just fine but had many issues with Bridge CS3.
1. Sometimes the file menu selections are non-selectable grey including fundamental functions like Open and Exit not even clicking on the x will allow PS to close! I found a workaround, I can select a tool that is not currently selected (like the crop or brush) and now the menu items appear.
2. The Arrange Documents drop down menu is blank except for the lower text portion. All icons are missing. Roll over text popup shows what is supposed to be on the menu but no icons.
3. I have setup Bridge CS4 to auto start at logon. Works OK but sometimes for whatever reason stays busy after I close. Task Manager shows Bridge using up to 25% of CPU time and the program is not even open!
5. I purchased a couple Canon EOS 50Ds as backup cameras for our business. Worked last week with CS3 and Bridge with Raw 4.6 upgrade. Does not work with RAW 5.0 in CS4bummer!
