Is it possible to change the registered owner "names" of photoshop cs2 & illustrator CS2 that were defined in the installation process... my partner installed the programs and registered them under his name "Mark" and "home" for organisation, but for my design course we need to submit the original authored ps files with our own name (as the author) to prove we have a "legit software copy".. something like that...

I have to macs with photoshop and I need to monitor who is editting what I figure if everything saved on my machine gets tagged I could work it out from there? A bit like how microsoft word will add the author by default.

I had to re-insatll Adobe Production Studio Premium CS3 on the same computer. When I now start up any Adobe application such as Photoshop I notice on the logo/loading screen that my name who it is registered to is no longer their.What file/folder do I need to update? or can I re apply my name so I can see it once again on the logo/loading screen.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have my brand new Sony HD 1080 5.1 video camera, I download the video files to my laptop and convert them using PMB to Mpeg2. I create my Ulead Video project then I am a little confused. I can't seem to use the "Create Disk" option without it forcing me to use a menu, but having problems with this in the past I have always used a 3rd party program for this, so presently I am using DVD Flick. I exported my project to a 1080 format Mpeg (I forget the name) and author my DVD-R. The result is poor quality and the sound is at least two seconds out of sync!
Going back to the "Create Video File" option, which option do I export to? Can I assume that I also need HD DVDs for it to remain true HD?
Almost a month ago I purchased Photoshop CS6 for Windows from isoftware.co.uk (in thr UK) and received an Adobe Licence Reference and a Product Serial Number. I downloaded the trial from the Adobe site and chose to immediately activate it with the Product Serial Number. All seemed to go through fine but when I now check the Adobe 'Myaccount' it does not show that the product is registered to me. What do I need to do to reactivate the product and ensure that Adobe acknowledge it as registerd to me?

We have a problem with this drawing and we need to find out which company indicated various items. However I believe that the company that sent the drawing to us last has changed all layers to suit their own CAD standards.
What I am asking is. Is there any way to find out the author of the original layers before they were changed? So I could then have proof that such a company set up such a layer and indicated various items on said layer.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIn the part file I created a table with the 2 different sizes used. I can manipulate the part by editing extrusion 1 and the ribs and slots adjust accordingly. However, I would like to keep track of the wire trough used in a similar fashion as a tube weldment, one part, but multiple lengths used, for BOM tracking.
AS soon as I author the part to structural shapes I get issues with the extrusions and sketches, looks like the initial geometry is lost it's constraints to projected lines. (sketches are full of the pink lines).

I have a programming background but have never used AutoCad nor AutoLISP. I'm walking into a situation where we had a resident AutoLISP expert that has written a routine to output Autocad to PDF using the built-in PDF. I'm told the autolisp goes through a bunch of logic to create folder path, file, etc of the output PDF. I don't have access to the code.
What we need is for that routine to also set the metadata on the output PDF (Title, Author, Subject, Keywords), At the minimum we need to set the PDF Properties Title = to filename and it needs to be done at the time it is generated from Autocad to PDF.
I am using Ilogic to complete details in the drawing iproperties to use in a drawing border.
I can successfully enter the creation date with the line:- iProperties.Value("Project", "Creation Date") = NowÂ
But is there a way of doing the same so that the iProperties.Value("Summary", "Author")Â =Â Â computer user ?
When I place a custom ipart (a simple one in this case) the length in my table changes

I am with CS5's enhanced brush engine - the great new media brushes...BUT, when using them, and a wacom intuos4 tablet, with the canvas rotated - where the cursor is when stroking is not where the pixels created by brushing go. Very frustrating. The greater the rotation of the canvas, the greater the offset is. It's hard to know where the pixels will appear when I put pen to tablet and stroke. Makes it impossible to accurate, well-controlled brushing.I'm forced to stop using the Rotate Canvas tool with media brushes and the Rotate Canvas tool is incredibly useful for freehand painting/drawing (I rotate my paper every which way while drawing on actual paper.)

I installed service pak2 today and now all of a sudden I am not able to insert fields. I get an AutoCAD warning that says " there are no registered modules to edit fields or demand loading is currently disabled. I have not changed a single setting other then loading service pak. This sheet set is over a 150pgs right now.

I'm trying to add a small registered trademark to an existing logo. I have the front and the matte of the logo which I take in to paint. While in paint, I add the registered trademark using the text brush within the graphics option. However, I can't seem to get the matte of the trademark and the existing matte of the logo to show up when I view the matte it's either one or the other - not together. So when I render, I'm not getting both the original logo and the trademark rendered with both mattes. For now, I've just composited the two in Action so I can move forward with my work but I would like to know how to do this in paint.

I added the tool data to C3D Metric Transportation Subassembly Catalog.atc. Tool is listed on Subassembly catalog and i can copy-paste the tool to Tool palette.
But on tool palette when i try to drag it to drawing it gives the error "tool is not registered". error msg is attached.
can it be about the resource fileds on ATC file eg: resource="1302" or the new GUID values?
I've been using X3 for about 5 years.Today, I can't open the program.... a message appears
"Unable to create a DOM document.Class not registered Verify that MSXML4 is installed."
I have no idea what this message means. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled, rebooted and still the same message comes up. I use this program almost everyday, so, of course, now I'm unable to produce art for clients.

So i have managed to get my VBA apps working up to version 2010 (with the AcFocusCtrl). I just upgraded to AutoCAD 2012. For some reason I cannot get the ACFocusCtrl on my VBA userform. When I try to drag it onto the userform, I get an error "Class Not Registered". how I can load that control?Â

I'm using a network installation and I do not have the option of changing it to a DVD installation.
