I am making some buttons to be used in a regular html setup. Well I have this problem that I dont know how to get around. I have star shapes that I want to be "buttons". Except when you go to click on them, the transparency part of the image is clickable also. How can I make it so the transparent 'box' around the image isnt clickable. I just want the star to be.

Is it possible to create a few navigation buttons in the html file, so that when a 3rd button is clicked, the animation jumps to the 3rd animation. Something like JQuery slideshow, but the difference is, each composition is animated instead of a static image.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIn our drawing office we use Inventor in a mining materials handling environment. Our output is mainly structural drawings where we require a bill of materials as part of creating a drawing. Whenever I insert a BOM in the drawing environment I get this table which is labeled in a foreign language (it looks like an Eastern European language) and the format is not as per the standard Autodesk installation setup.
How do I either revert back to the standard setup or do a BOM setup from scratch?
We use IV 2013 Professional on Windows 7 64 bit.
I installed CS4 because it seems I downloaded both the regular version AND the 64-bit version of CS4. I discovered this because I have both an Adobe Photoshop CS4 directory and an Adobe Photoshop CS4 (64 Bit) directory. Can I clean this up?? .... if it is not necessary, I'd like to free up the disk space.

I have a licensed copy of regular Ps CS6 but now see the following screen when opening Ps. It seems to want to open as Extended (which I have not licensed). This seems to have happened after updating Adobe Application Manager.

Each time, I am asked to sign in again and register, even though the registration page is fully filled out. This has happened three times in the last week. It isn't a matter of not paying the monthly fee...the payments show up in my account. Yet, each time, I get a message that my 'trial version' has expired. Except, I never downloaded the trial version. As I understand it, if you don't pay, you get a couple of months before you are locked out. Yet, here I am, fully paid up and locked out at least once a week. It's no big deal to sign in again but winter is coming and where I am, we regularly lose internet, sometimes for a week at a time. I also travel to remote corners of the globe. What am I supposed to do if this happens when I am cut off from the internet.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI want to use the burn tool for a special effect but I want to do it on a new layer, I've read all about making a new layer set to overlay mode with 50% grey but this produces a different effect than when I burn the backround layer.
When using burn>highlights>15% on skin colour I get a grey kind of burn which is perfect but it destroys the pixles but when using the non-destructive method I get dark red effect which is not what im looking for.
I'm not using the burn tool in the typical sense (to darken part of the picture) I use the highlight/midtone/shadows seperate to create a very specific special effect with the burn tool.
Does PS allow for scanning of negatives on a regular scanner, then processing them to digital positives? Scanner is Lexmark Prevail Pro 705

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have both Photoshop CS3 and CS5 installed on a Windows 7 64-bit system. Photoshop CS5 has two Helvetica fonts: one TrueType and one Type 1. The TT version only offers italic and bold italic styles. The T1 font offers the full suite of bold, italic, bold italic (or oblique), and medium (or regular). This seems odd, but it's sufficient. Photoshop CS3, on the same computer, only offers me the Helvetica TT font, with just the two styles mentioned above. Why can't CS3 see the T1 Helvetica? Why does the TT Helvetica only show me two styles? In case it's relevant, I believe the Type 1 version is the only one I deliberately installed, and I recently upgraded to a 2010 version of the font made available by Adobe.

Roboto font (by Google) is installed on Windows 7 system, but the regular weight is missing in Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign (both CS6 and CC, and same issue in Windows 8).

All weights are installed properly, the only one not listed in adobe programs is Roboto-Regular.ttf.
I'm using Photoshop CS5 Extended 64bit (12.0.4) on Win7 Professional (64 bit) and recently have had an issue using my Cintiq 12WX tablet in that using the brush with the tablet (whether I'm using the tablet as the monitor, or my laptop as the monitor) causes Photoshop to crash, usually within the first 30 seconds of usage. This has become so regular that I expect it to crash and no longer can trust it to use, but at the same time I depend on its use to get work done, so an expedient solution is absolutely necessary.
Does not crash if I use brush with a mouse, but that's not exactly a solution either, as you can imagine. I have been using this tablet with this Photoshop for a long time without incident, and I can think of no changes to the system I've made in the period when this began happening.
All drivers for the Cintiq are current.The entirety of the crash report reads as follows:

I tried copying and pasting the code thats under the project when I preview it in a web browser, but all that comes up when i preview that is a digram of my slices with red X's telling me the images didnt show up.

But where are these images? I know the red X's show up when the images are not present, like, they're not in the folders.
when I slice in imageready, it automatically creates that image, but where are they on my computer?
I used a template to start and have done some extensive modifying to it. My site consists of 4 pages with the corresponding tabs at the top of the page. The top 1/3rd is identical from page to page....the content on the bottom 2/3rds changes. I did all the editing in Photoshop and am now trying to convert it all to html. I have sliced the index page and saved it to html. When I go to slice the second page, the slice numbers dont match up from page to page. I am basically relabeling all my slices. Also can't I just make the bottom 2/3rds of my page change instead of having to reslice the identical top of every page. I have browsed around and I know its possible but I can't pull anything together do mainly to lack of terminology knowledge on my part....

I normally use the tool to export my slices to generate a quick view of what the page will look like and then take create a new page with CSS styles instead of what PHotoshop generates, but like the tool for creating mockups. I have searched high and low and can't find it. Can someone kindly please point me in the right direction?
Although I have found code that should allow me to convert 2dpolylines to regular polylines, I am having troubles implementing it. At first I got the eInvalid Input but have since fixed that. However, the error now is that there is no error. Autocad just seems to lock up but I can still switch to visual studio and look at my code. It as though Autocad thinks it is doing something but my code is not doing anything. I can scroll around.
