View 2 RepliesMy Photoshop CS6 BETA has updated and so I need to uninstall it before proceeding. It is not listed in my add remove programs and I can not see it with my CCleaner either.
Â
If I go to the directory there is no set up file nor uninstall file anywhere.I am using Windows 7 and Photoshop Beta version 13.0.0.0.
I checked the FAQs and found general instructions which presume there is an entry in W7 Programs & Features. There is no entry in my system, and I found no Uninstall app in any Adobe CS6 folder.

Now CS6 won't install. Says an earlier version is on the machine.
Â
Which specific files must be uninstalled to allow the CS6 installation?
I'm running OS10.6.8 on a mac pro.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have taken the opportunity to try Lightoom 4 beta but have decided to stay with CS6 when it arrives, I cannot see any way to remove the program from a Mac, in the aplications folder where lightroom is there seems to be no uninstall option, I have tried to drag it to the trash but that does not work, I want a lean machine for when CS6 arrives so a Gb of HD space would be worth having.

View 3 Replies View RelatedUnfortunately I attempted to uninstall my CS6 beta by dragging the app to the trash, then emptying the trash bin. Now the install disk for CS6 still sends an error message and says there is a beta version of CS6 on the disk and won't install the real CS6.Â
View 1 Replies View RelatedI installed Photoshop CS6 beta on my Mac, OS 10.6.8. Once I purchased and went to install CS6, the installer informed me to uninstall the beta version of Photoshop, but didn't say how, or that there was a catch. I went and uninstalled Photoshop CS6 beta by dragging it to the trash. OOPS! - now the release version won't install, and I can't find anything on the Adobe website other than private messages from Adobe employees to specific users with the same problem as to how to rectify the issue.

Aside from venting my frustration at a situation I (and others have found ourselves in that could have been prevented by a little better planning and installer design.
I had to uninstall X6 for a while until some other issues are fixed, but that's another story. Once I did a repair on X5 and uninstalled the shell extension and reinstalled the X5 version, then ran the SP3 update, I have file icons back in the file open dialog, but with the preview pane active, I still get "This file can't be previewed" instead of the multi-page preview it should have for newer files and the first page preview for older files. I've associated draw files with X5, and everything else works fine, except the file preview.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have just a general question regarding "File Removal" of the Beta Programs.
In the past there would have been a "File Removal" app to go with the beta's after the expiration however there was no app this year, (our expiration was May 31st). any associated problems with removing the beta's "Manually" this year?

WHAT I DID: Â I downloaded AutoCAD LT trial version and used it for about 2 weeks. I then purchased the actual product and installed the purchased AutoCAD LT 2012. I then uninstalled the trial version.Â
PROBLEM: The file extension that says Autodesk Trial Player is now attached to all of my CAD work instead of the standard .dwg extension. I can not import my CAD files into Sketch Up because of this.
This is installed on an HP g7 laptop purchased new in Feburary 2012.
Is there any way to export LR photosdirectly from LR if the original file has been deleted from Hardrive. If not, can the image from LR somehow still be printed as photos and if so how?

The licensing subsystem has failed catastrophically. You must reinstall or call customer support. I tried redownloading and reinstalling it but it still does the same thing and customer support after waiting on hold for 10 minutes for someone to answer, just sent me here.
Also now that this is there, I can't run my CS2. It tells me my settings have changed and I need to reactivate but it won't let me reactivate apparently I guess it's been activated too many times (the first computer I had it on crashed and so I had to reinstall it on this computer I am using now) So now because of whatever is wrong with this CS3 I can never again use my CS2. I don't want to repurchase it, what do I do?
My font have started to un install. I have put them in two time.
View 13 Replies View RelatedWhy do you have to install both 32 & 64 bit versions of programs? In InDesign & Illustrator, you can uninstall the 32 bit versions using the Windows uninstaller but it won't let you do this in Photoshop; would be good if you were given the choice when installing to save your download quota and drive space.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI kept CS3 on my system even though I've been using CS4 since it was released. Uninstalled CS3 yesterday and since then I cannot call PS4 from Br4/ When I double-click on an image in bridge it brings up the magnifier. The menu option, "File-->Open With" does not show PS CS4 as an option nor does it give me a "Choose File" option. It does list Acrobat, my browsers, and Paint as opening programs. How can I get PS4 to show as an option here? Have searched all the Preferences but see no way to do it. On a related note -- is my memory faulty or didn't a double-click at one time allow one to open a photo in an external editor? Oh yes, I can open PS4 from LR, and I can open Br from PS4 via menu or icon click. Would appreciate some help. JEL P.S.I found I can get to PS4 from Br4 by first opening a photo in Camera Row and then opening it via the Open Image button.

how I can uninstall/get rid of Photoshop CS3?
When I got my Wacom tablet, it came with a copy of Photoshop Elements 3. I installed it and all was good. Then my laptop's motherboard broke (the manufacturer refused to fix it because the laptop was no longer under warranty and there had been a "silent recall" on the motherboards, but that is all trivial matter here), so I was left with a "homeless" hard drive I could use as a backup for all of my files. Photoshop Elements 3 is still installed on that hard drive and, because of this, I cannot install it on my new laptop using the serial number provided on the install disk.
If I reformat my old hard drive, will I be able to install Elements on my new laptop using the same old serial? If not, is there a way at all to uninstall or at least de-register/de-activate Elements on the old hard drive so I can install it on the new laptop?
