I am unable to select paper size from the printer driver of my EPSON printer for the iMAC using PS5. Is there a print driver I am missing?

I'm able to select paper size from iPhoto on the MAC, but it also prints according to the paper size. Even though I've selected the image size as 11X14 the image is printed full paper size.
Trying to get an 8x10 print from a digital camera photo on a letter size paper. Reguardless of what we do, the print job only comes up to 8x6.5. How do we get an 8x10???

1. What would be the coordinates if you want to make a Poster?
2. How about a full paper. What size does the Photoshop picture got to be to fit a piece of paper perfectly?
3. How about DVD covers? Either just the front or the front and the back.
Using ObjectARX2013, I have to solve problems.
When I plot PNG or JPG file, its paper size is needed to edit according to drawing size.
I want to know the source code or function(or method) - C#.
I have tried numerous times to make my paper size and actual plot size the same. My paper size is 24 x 36 but for some reason it rotates the paper and the output is 36 x 36, every time! When I look at it on the preview, it looks correct but then the paper comes out with a foot of paper at the top of the drawing. I've created new page sizes, etc.

When i print the photo, it prints to the size 4.31 x 3.12 on the 5x7 paper.
I go through a lot of sketch stages to get to a final picture, and I sometimes print on legal paper. My Brother printer does fine at that with Apple Pages, MSWord, Acrobat, and Illustrator, but with Photoshop there's a problem. I set up a legal-size image in PS, go through all the settings I can find for printing to a non-letter-format sheet, hit print, and what I get is a letter-size patch of image on a legal-size sheet. Clearly, either I am missing something or PS is missing something.
View 3 Replies View Relatedbefore when i wanted a 8.5" X 11" size i would just put a piece of paper on my screen and size it up with what i had in PS....i know barbaric right !
the only reason i do that is when i make a new Doc and use a preset " Letter " it pulls up huge on the screen 25% , not actual size.
So, I have a "Fit Screen" image open with no canvas.  I select "Print Size", and it reduces the image size, but leaves a huge expanse of canvas that I have to drag in to remove.

I'm trying to print a 24 x 34 print to an HP Z3100.Everything sets fine in the HP driver, but when it comes back to the Photoshop print dialog box, PS still thinks it's printing to an 8 1/2Â x 11 sheet.

How do I get Photoshop to 'listen' to what the printer is supposed to be doing?
When i try to create a new document by file->new after i click ok , it automatically opens the "image size" dialog box.

Inside that folder there should be a text document called "New Doc Sizes.txt" but it's not there. where I might find this text file in a presets folder?

I have a C drive, but my folder for CS6 is on my D drive. I use Windows Ultimate 7 x64.
I want to print out this poster I made and I want it to completely fill the white computer paper. When I print out it leaves a white border. I made the image larger but it still leaves a border. Any ideas?

My image is : 297x210
Res : 300ppi

I now have the official release of CS6, and I am still seeing this issue. And for clarification, here's what the issue is:

- I start off creating a text layer with a font size of 20px.
- I then transform this layer to make it larger.
- I copy the layer over so I have identical text layers.
- When I select each individually, I am shown the new, larger font size, we'll just say 40px. But when I select both together, it shows the original font size of 20px in the character palette. When I increase the font size with both selected to say 30px, it actually makes the text more like 60px.

Will this bug actually get fixed?
I have an HP 6500A Plus, and it should be capable of printing edge to edge, even on custom sizes. After contacting both Apple (I am running MacOS 10.8 Mountain Lion) and HP for answers, I burned a lot of time with Adobe either just plain not getting an answer because I didn't buy it or being given the run-around. I need to know what Photoshop is doing to block the available capabilities from working.

Problem is that in CS6 I cannot adjust Set Up dialog to get entire paper printed correctly. The printer(both Canon's 9000mkii/9500mkii)Â always have a border. Red River(the paper I use) sez use 8x12 but there is no 8x12 setting.

the paper size in the CS6 Print menu (PS Manages Color) so the copy is inked 100%?
Running Mac os x 10.8.2 and Photoshop CS6. I have an Epson R2880 and so far only used Epson paper. I was able to find all the paper settings but i decided to buy a new German paper.

I downloaded the ICC profile, copied it to /Library/ColorSync/Profiles (and actually any other path that i could find in there). When i open the print dialog i cannot set that paper in either Photoshop or the Epson dialog.

I then removed ALL the ICC files from that path and... surprise. All the profiles are still shown in Photoshop.
I tried to make an image that, when printed, would take up the entire sheet of paper (having removed the margins in the printing properties), but I seem to have failed.
I made the image 8.5 x 11 inches, but when I printed a test at that size it came out too small... is there a % bigger that I need to make the image to fit, or did I go wrong somewhere else?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI’m using Photoshop CS 8.0 not the newer versions of CS2-5, in my previous versions of Photoshop before CS I was able to print Tabloid paper sizes, and in the new CS under page setup tabled is no longer in there. I am running windows 7 64-bit, the printer is a Xerox Work center 7345 with updated drivers. the printer sees and recognizes the paper size under the control panel printer driver preferences. but Photoshop CS will not see that size available.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to edit a number of photos for a Ken Burns type travelogue, and that means I have to make all my color and other adjustments, and then edit to a common size (1280x720). This usually means resizing the photo which gives me the 1280, and then I need to pick which 720 of the image to include. With the rectangular select I can get close, but my mouse movement is usually too much to get exactly to 720, so I often end up having to resize again to drop/add a couple rows.
Is there some way to set a selection box to be a certain size so it could then be moved up and down in the image, and then crop the image when you have selected the portion you want?
Just to clarify, I know of the "Fixed Size" selection. But it is almost as impossible to get that lined up so that you get the full 1280 width as it is to get the bounding box dropped to exactly 720...

Trying to print a pic from my digital camera the image size is 2896x1944 seemingly plenty big enough. But when windows prints at 8x10 the edges get cut off
Setting it to a canvas size anchored middle gives me a big white border..
And the issue I am having, isthat I created a Magazine cover using my son's football pic. To make a longstory short - I can create a fabulous 4x6, but when I try to send it out toblow up to an 8x10, it crops way too much of the cover... How do I save oredit the pic as an 8x10 so that I do not loose my added graphics andartwork?

I know I have to trim the sheet to make it an exact 8x10 but I cannot find a way to end up with an 8x10 with border all around from 8 1/2 x 11 photo paper.
