Trying to print a pic from my digital camera the image size is 2896x1944 seemingly plenty big enough. But when windows prints at 8x10 the edges get cut off
Setting it to a canvas size anchored middle gives me a big white border..
I need to get a print out today for Christmas and cannot find a way to layout an 8x10 with a white border on a 8 1/2 x11 photo paper.
I know I have to trim the sheet to make it an exact 8x10 but I cannot find a way to end up with an 8x10 with border all around from 8 1/2 x 11 photo paper.

View 4 Replies View RelatedUsing LR 4 print module, 4x6 works fine, but changing to 8x10 still gives me a small print either in the middle of an 8.5x11 sheet or in the upper right corner.
I am using the 8x10 template so the cell shows 8x10, and in page settings I am using US letter (8.5x11) paper, zoom to fill. The image is cropped, but that shouldn't matter, right? It looks fine on screen.
It printed correctly when I printed with PS Elements, but I want to use LR.
Tried attaching a screen shot but that didn't work either.
Trying to get an 8x10 print from a digital camera photo on a letter size paper. Reguardless of what we do, the print job only comes up to 8x6.5. How do we get an 8x10???
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to assemble a figure for a publication in a journal. one of the images has been created by the person who generated the data using MS paint.the files he has sent so far have not had resolution above 96 dpi, saved as a png. I need better res files to send to the publisher, I'm hoping we can save it out such that it will be 600dpi?
I'm laying out the final figure in photoshop, and have created a high resolution document in which to import this image from paint with some other images. however, when i check the res on the files that he's given me so far, it's screen res.
when i resize an image for example to 27 x 18 cm there is no problem however, when i try and print the image and the preview window comes up there seems to only be a tiny part of the picture visible? its basicly a tiny square in the top left corner of the preview page and its just big enough to see its a minute part of the image i want to print. If i try and print the image anyway i just get "could not start print job".I never had any issues before then suddenly a few weeks ago the problem happened in version x2 on any pictures i tried to resize and print , so i updated to x3 in the hope it would correct the error but its still there. Any setting somewhere , i tried using a trial version of a rival program and that worked fine and showed the print preview exactly how it should.

I could use the print button, yes but then I lose the quality of the pic.
you could copy the layer from picture 1 to picture 2.
So you coud copy whole "effect-strings" much easier as before.
Is there a chance to implement this feature to P.net?
And the issue I am having, isthat I created a Magazine cover using my son's football pic. To make a longstory short - I can create a fabulous 4x6, but when I try to send it out toblow up to an 8x10, it crops way too much of the cover... How do I save oredit the pic as an 8x10 so that I do not loose my added graphics andartwork?

I'm able to select paper size from iPhoto on the MAC, but it also prints according to the paper size. Even though I've selected the image size as 11X14 the image is printed full paper size.
most of my crops are set for custom. i want an 8x10 print. if i change the aspect ratio from custom to 4.5/8x10 it screws up my crop completely. that means that i cannot upload to an online website, be printed automatically and have it come out the way it want. but can that custom crop image be printed 8x10 manually?

Trying to print 4x6. If I flip the setup on my printer to landscape it only shows the bottom of the picture and it is not centered, the right size, and is on the top middle of my 4x6 photo paper. I want to print a picture and use the caption from the meta data and the information about shutter speed, focal length and so on. I figured out that there is a way to print this information in the print module, but it is attached directly to the image, which does not look good. Question is there another way? Maybe involving Photoshop? I would like to have the flexibility I have with the slide show designer, where I can put caption to the left side of the image and ISO, shutter speed and so on to the right. Is this possible somehow?

I'm trying to print the presidential medal of freedom in high-res but all the samples I found on Google image search and on wiki are low-res. Since I need it for print, I increased it to 300dpi and it looks really jagged and blurred. I tried to search for a vector version, but couldn't find it. This is how it looks:

I used scale image to make a 2.314" x 3" image to print so it'll fit in a frame that I have for that same size. When I print it out the size looks great but it's over on the edge of the 4x6 paper and most of the picture is cut off. I tried, I should use print size and not canvas size but when I change the print size to 4x6 it also changes my canvas size back to 4x6. I still have my original so I can do this again but what I want is a 2.314"x3" image to print out on my 4x6 glossy paper.

I am trying to print a picture package with Adobe Photshop Elements 8. The package size is letter (1)5x7 (4) 2.5x3. When I press print, the package is sent to my printer (an HP Photosmart Premium), but it never prints.
My computer shows it is "printing", but it just remains stuck in the que. I cannot even delete or cancel the jammed print job without shutting off the printer, closing the program, and rebooting my computer.
I can print individual pictures with Adobe Photoshop 8 and I can print other pictures and documents from other applications on my computer. So my computer and printer seem to be communicating and functioning correctly except during the use of APE 8. The problem seems to be a gliche in the adobe program which does not allow me to print photo packages.
