Just updates to Photoshop CC and I am having a problem with the pen tool. In CS6, if you made two point, and then added a point between them you could immediately move the middle point. Now in CC you must move your mouse off the point and back on for it to recognize it. There is a video of the problem at this link:

I've tried trashing my preferences (shift alt option on startup) and it did nothing.
Is it possible to find intersection poit of the anchor point and any point on path?
Like on a picture, there are an anchor poit from a line, which intersects arc path, and I need to find intersection poit on the arc (can be line) path. Thus I can do further processing for arc after intersection - change position, set color etc.
I suppose I need to divide that arc path and that will be the best way, but all I need for this moment extract point before intersection and after and process in our custom preview. Is there way to find this intersection?
How to move circle -centerpoint- to the middle of distance between two rectangles?
I am using autocad 2013.
In AutoCad when the text is aligned with "Middle Center" has two points, but in C #, I only managed to capture one of the points using: myText_DBText.Position.

I'll be painting and I'll bump the middle button on my wacom pen and I'll get the circle of circles that spins forever... until I force quit. It's so cumbersome. I have my middle button mapped to the middle mouse click.
I use a mac and currently on CC. I have an intuos 5 but It used to happen to my three too. It's been less of a problem lately because of the crash recovery feature but it's still a huge problem...Like if there was an auto save feature or something then I'd be less frustrated.
I seem to have trouble articulating what's going on as well because all I get back is... did you update the drivers? it must be a wacom issue. try an update... etc.
The wheel spins but the pen still draws... like... FML

how to match up certain points. I have imported 2 point clouds and have tried to use the 'align' tool to specify three points from the source object (cloud) and three points from the destination object (cloud). When doing this, it does not properly align them. The point cloud makes it difficult to select the exact point I would like to align, since there may not be a point at that exact location, but close to it. Does AutoCAD require the points in alignment to match up perfectly or is it capable of doing a best fit?
Also, is AutoCAD capable of creating a solid 3D piece from the point cloud? I would like to take all of my points and make a smooth object.

Any way i do not understand with after using -convert point tool- the tool -Direction tool- (2) do not leave me to manage both the direction handles (3). I try to upload a screenshot:

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've converted a 2D image into a smart object, dragged into a project then transformed it using the Distort command (similar to how you might distort a 2d image to make it sit inside a photo frame at an angle) . I need to then warp that image around over something that looks like a curved panel thats 2D but looks 3d. Its not a 3d object, but a rendered 2d image that just looks 3d.
I'm using the Transform > Warp tool as Puppet Warp isnt available after using Distort when using Smart objects.
Warp works fine to some extent but I could really do with more handles and smaler grid for more accurate warping rather than the default 3x3 grid & handles..
Possible to add more handles/ nodes/ control points (or whatever they'e called) and/ or increase grid points in the same way Puppet Warp does this so as I drag around I control a tigher & smaller space?
Is it true, with CD Essentials i do not have a 3-point ellipse tool?

I hold the ALT button and click on the center of my drawing and then a window pops up to enter in what degree I want my object to be. Currently the decimal point only allows for hundredths, ex. 45.25 degrees. Is there any way to change this to thousandths or even higher, ex. 45.25125? I've attached a screenshot to show you what I mean.

What I imagine would be good therefore would be to have an option for how the transformation is previewed -
1. None - useful for moving many points; might not be necessary if 2 below works well2. Low-Res - useful for getting the transformation almost right without incurring exasperating delays3. Full Quality - final checks and tweaks
(It would also be a useful extra to mark key points and see how they move, but not quite so necessary as having a low-res preview option)
Also an option if feasible to transform what's outside the cage also?
Is there any way to export coordinates of a point created using the paths tool? I'm trying to determine the distance of each of the points in the attached picture from the blue mid line.

I have read several Pen tool tutorials but haven't found anything about this:
If I draw a path with the pen tool and later want to reactivate it, clicking the last anchro point to make the path active severs one of its control handles. Specifically the handle that is for the curve that is yet to be drawn. And after that I have to use the Convert Anchor Point tool to recreate both control handles and try to math the already existing one to its former place.
How can I fix this?
When I try to trace a template with the pen tool parts of the template disappears with each new anchor point. How to keep this from happening?
