Photoshop :: CS4/CS3 PDF Presentation
Feb 12, 2009Installed CS4 Production Premium about a month ago. Recently went to File--Automate--PDF Presentation and it is missing. Should have read the forums before I got CS4! So I confidently went back to Photoshop C3 Extended and started to do a series of PDF Presentation document builds. My one page "documents" went fine. Had two multi-page documents. Go thru the menus ok and even see the page by page presentation during the document build and then no error. Come to find out, all the multi-page files have the proper "name.pdf" but have a file size of zero. Now this never happened prior to installing CS4.
Q1. Did the installation of CS4 actually remove function from the installed Photoshop CS3?
Q2. What happened to all the Photoshop CS3 plug-ins? Don't see any way to get a listing in CS4.
Maybe I missed it but was all the function removal from CS3 with CS4 ever described in the "What's New in CS4" documentation?
Photoshop :: Resolution With PDF Presentation From CS6 In Bridge
Aug 28, 2012I'm having exactly the same problem as this guy but on CS6 URL..... "I am consistently having problems creating multipage pdf files using Bridge; though they are created using 300 dpi files in Photoshop CS6 the resulting multi page pdfs from Bridge are not print quality."
I couldn't find any updates for Bridge CS6.If Adobe wants us to use Bridge for generating pdf's it'd better be working correctly.
Photoshop Elements :: Resolution On Presentation So Low?
Nov 10, 2013When I make pictures with my camera, they are of very high quality, about 4000*3000 pixels. When I open them in Organizer elements, the quality is still very high.
However, whenever i want to make a presentation, teh resolution of so much downgraded that pictures get all blocky. If I want to export this presentation, the highest quality i can select is 1024*768 dpi, ony 25% of the original photo size.
How I can get my presentations in a decent quality?

Apr 21, 2012I have CS4 and am consistently having problems creating multipage pdf files using Bridge; though they are created using 300 dpi files in Photoshop CS4 the resulting multipage pdfs from Bridge are not print quality. I never had a problem with this before Bridge was required to create pdf presentations.
The files used to create the presentation in Bridge are either psd or Photoshop pdf at 300 dpi. I am completely self-taught in Photoshop and my skill level is moderate at best,

Feb 27, 2013CS2 and Bridge will not make any pdfs'CS2 has been un-installed and re-installed twice from disc without solving problem. I will download CS2 from Adobe as my next step, however my CS2 disc would have to be de-activated and there is no activation server for CS2 anymore.{URL]...

AutoCad :: Animated Presentation With Drawings
Oct 14, 2011My boss has seen a video clip that start with an aerial view of a building, then a rotation around that building- a top view which turns into CAD or similar drawing. Then the building is viewed floor by floor from top to ground floor. Then the clip carries on showing a production line with conveyor belt moving and so on.
Now he wants to prepare a similar thing for a job he is pricing at the moment. He wants to know what packages are needed and time scales for getting something like this ready. I have never done any animation don’t know where to start.
I can produce 3D drawings with CAD and Solid works and thats about it.

Jun 7, 2012I created *.ipn file and I tried to record the animation AVI file. After I finished playing the animation, I can see the AVI file was created but with 0KB, the avi is empty and cannot open.
I have no problem to create AVI file in my laptop but have such problem in my office's desktop computer.

Oct 11, 2013I have a large assembly in Inventor Pro 2012 where I'm trying to show the installation process in Presentation. Since the sequences behave as opposite to an explosion, all the parts return to their original location after a tweak.
However if I am trying to show a jig that works in the installation process that I want to show being removed, how can I do that. In the assembly, the jig is constrained to the the part being installed, which makes it very difficult to show it being removed since the move happens first then it mates to the part during an animation. Any way to reverse the animation sequence?

My problem is that when I do this, all the layers seem to stack up together, so when I create the gif, the animation consists of the first layer, then the second one "on top" of the first one, then the third with the previous two, and so and so forth.

Sep 19, 2011I'm trying to create an animated GIF for use in a PowerPoint presentation. I've created the images in PDN and saved the cels as GIFs with the transparency threshhold set to 255. (I've also tried 0 and values in between). The individual cels have opaque white backgrounds, verified by inserting them in a PP slide overlapping another image. When I load them as layers into PDN and save as an AGIF, then change the extension and load onto the PP slide, the white backgrounds are now transparent!
This wouldn't normally be a problem, except that the transparent areas have an odd mottled effect to them instead of being solid white. How can I correct it?

I know when you create the view you can select which representation and level of detail to use, but how do you change these after the exploded view is created?

Nov 19, 2012We have the following problem / bug and i was wondering if others can reproduce it.
(IV2013, SP1.1)
When adding a new sub-assembly to an existing ipn, the newly added assembly doesn't have the + sign to expand it. (see image)
Steps:
1. create a part. (anything will do) - Part1
2. make an assembly and add Part1 a few times. - Assembly1
3. make another assembly and add Assembly1 a couple of times. - Assembly2
4. create a presentation file with Assembly2, add a tweak for good measure. - Assembly2.ipn
5. Save the ipn. (and any other unsaved files)
6. now go back to Assembly2 and add another instance of Assembly1.
7. look at the presentation again, if it's the same as our situation there shouldn't be a + next to the newly added instance.

Mar 22, 2007I created a IPN from an IAM for an exploded view. When I put the base view of that exploded assembly into a drawing, one of the main components is invisible. So when I mouse over the edge of the view, the bounding box does not even reach high enough to possibly include this component. All other components are visible in their correct exploded positions. I tried deleting the view and placing it again, but it does the same thing. The colored and shaded preview just before view placement shows all parts where they should be.
