Transforming Objects updated 8/6/12 and it still doesn't mention that in photoshop cs6 one can specify the interpolation method used for the transform in the tool options bar:

I've been trying to resize an image and tried Gimp 2's interpolation method but nothing happened. I increased the size to 150% with 153 pixels (I think). Did I do something wrong or is Gimp just not good for interpolation?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have just had to re-install my copy of X5 Ultimate as for some reason the files stopped working..
When I first started the software it told me there was a service update (previously installed on last install and worked fine) but when I clicked on update now it just closed the window without doing anything. I have downloaded the patch from Corel and that installed without problem.
But now, on looking in the 'do more' section there are only 3 items, Boris, Newblue Effects and Jamendo. (I have the first 2 as part of the ultimate edition anyway). The templates and other downloadable content are missing.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a business card file created in AI CS6. The file has two identically-sized art boards with crop marks. All the fonts are outlined, there are no linked graphics. I've opened the file in AI CC, made some minor changes, and tried to save as a PDF. When I open the PDF in either Acrobat Reader or Pro XI, there is no content, only the crop marks.
Interestingly, the desktop icon preview, and the open dialog box preview both show the content, and when I open the PDF in AI CC, the content is there. But when I open the file in either version of Acrobat, the content is gone. Just the crop marks show.
There is no 1/4 x 1 x1 Angle in content center. Can this be fixed?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI did a (I think) standard install of product suite premium 2013 a while back and am trying my first flexible hose run.
When I hit populate I get an error message saying something like "your request cannot be fulfilled because parts can"t be fetched from the content centre"
Now I see a whole lot of libraries are not available. My only other experience with this was when the mold libraries were not part of the installation and I had to do a huge download.
As far as the missing mold libraries went, I felt that was something the vendor should really have told us about. But let me not get ahead of myself this time, even though it's midnight and I can't do at least 1 run to show for tomorrow.
I am using IV 2010. I am missing the metric items for content center. I have checkeed the filter for DIN and nothing appears. It looks like the only thing I can view is ANSI. How do I get the rest of the content center loaded?

Just upgraded from X3 to X6. Still getting used to it, but so far so good.
On one layout, some items on a printable layer do not appear on the Print Preview. The page contains a monochrome bitmap, some text and a curve. Only the bitmap appears on the print preview, yet everything prints.
It doesn't happen with every job. Not a big deal on this job, but there will soon come a time when I need to know what will and will not print.
I've recently upgraded to Win7 64bit. In Acad Architecture (trial versions 2010,2011 &2012)The content browser has nothing in it and the tool palettes aren't there.

which is actually a description that typically appears in AI files saved without PDF compatibility. It's not document-wise but rather application-wise issue because it happens even if I create a new Document, draw something in the middle of the canvas and save it. Also, all of my existing documents which used to save well before, do that now. Basically, I cannot save correctly a single PDF. But it seems that the exported documents must contain the data because they have different sizes based on the content.
There's no problem with saving in AI format.
As you can see, there is an entire face of the pipe missing. When I highlight over it (2nd picture) it thinks it is there. This has happened on lots of content center parts. There has been a few issues where this has happened with some of our downloaded user content (in our custom content center) even to the point of disappearing entirely.
This has happened across multiple (identical) machines. However, it doesn't seem to be reproducible on demand.

how I can get the bolt type and sizes to show in the description of the item in a parts list when placed through Content Center! I would like the same with all fixings.
We have configured our own Content Center by copying standards and replacing the part number with our own reference number. This then shows the description as "Bolt" with no size etc.
Can Content Center be configured in a way to show sizes in description?
We facing the error shown in screenshot attached with this mail.

I also check the path "C:ProgramDataAutodeskInventor 2013Content CenterLibraries" and found that its a empty.
We are using :
Software : Inventor 2012 Professional ultimate edition, MS-Office 2010 64 Bit.

the path to download these content centre files for inventor 2012.
When I attempt to place from Content Center some components, I receive the error message I attached:
"Unable to Update Content Part . Write permission is missing."
I receive this error not for all files.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIf I want to to print an image at a certain size in photoshop but do not want to have the image resampled up or down I can basically do this
1. go to image, resize and uncheck the resample image box and type in the resolution at which I want to print = lets use 300ppi just for kicks.
2. Now that will depending on the resolution of the image this will resize the photo the the max size that can be printed at that print resoultion- period. Then is the image is say 5x8 and I want to crop to 4x6 I can set the crop tool to 4x6 and leave the resolution fields blank, to crop with no resampling. Is this correct so far?
Now want I need to know is how do you do the math to figure out max print size from a given resolution- if I have an image that is 800x640 say- how do I convert that to inches to see the max size that can be printed without resampling- am I just dividing both fields by ppi?
to be sait i have picture 8*6 and 300ppi and i wont to scale this image to 12*10 and 300ppi with crop tool (not image size). my question it's: do photoshop now in this function make bicubic smoother for interpolation or he that's make asimple interpolation like bicubic?

View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to do a precise crop in any units that avoids interpolation. As far as I know entering a size in the input boxes, does not give a crop box of that size, as it does in the selection tool. The only accurate way that I can think of is to use guides to mark the crop and then use the crop tool. A bit primitive is it not?
Also can the guides be set by an input box? It is very difficult to pull them to the correct position, using the info box. I can only set 1000 and 4000, by zooming to 100% and then scrolling, otherwise the info box is too coarse. I suppose someone will say that CS6 addresses this!
When I try to scale down a Smart Object, by using the Free Transform tool, I get over-sharped edges. Mind you when I do the same on a raster layer I can overcome it since there is an option box where I can choose interpolation method.

What is interpolation when scaling images in Gimp? it is under quality. I see there are None, Linear, Cubic, & Sinc (Lanczos 3)... what are these and which one is the best one?? and does it matter which one e.g. are they all the same?

View 2 Replies View RelatedIf I generated FG maps with interpolation of every 3 frames and I use read FG points at every 2 frames. Would this be wasting my time? Would it be better if I just set it to 0? Once it starts rendering it comes up with warning signs saying it can't find specific FG maps which is understandable. Would max have to generate new ones (because this would be a waste of render time) and if it does can I somehow just tell it not to?
It is an animation that I am rendering (moving car and moving camera).
