Paint Shop Pro :: X6 - Where Creative Content Stored
Oct 27, 2013I installed the Creative content for the PSP X6 Ultimate. I can see the new content, but I would like to use one of the "environment map" as a Pattern, so I would like to copy it into the Pattern folder, but I cannot find those new files from the Creative Content.
Where are they stored once installed? It was where I expected it to be (in Program Data) but it was in a different drive!

Dec 10, 2013I installed PSP x6 ultimate using the install 32 and 64 bit versions. I tried to install the kpt and creative content and get the following message-

I also get the same error message using the 2nd dvd to install "perfectly clear" and "ultimate creative content".
I am running windows 7 pro and don't know why I am getting the error messages. Could this be because they do not run on the 64bit versions? If so when asked to install both versions would they run. There is no program start application for the 32 bit version even if you select install both.

The blub says something about extra backgrounds, where do I find them. What else was installed? The pack installed very quickly for the size so I'm wondering if it installed correctly.

Dec 28, 2011I am tracing a simple raster shape in a new vector layer and I want to know how I can remove a portion of the content from the center. Picture a shape like a letter "o" where there is shape data comprising the perimeter ring, and no shape data in the center. I trace the perimeter of the the shape making a solid eliptical-type shape, but I need to then remove a portion of the center of the shape so that only the ring of the O has vector data. How can I do this?

Jul 17, 2013I head over to the icon in the top-right corner, "Corel guide". Then I go to the tab "Do more".From here I can download frames, patterns, preset shapes etc. However, I cannot find the downloaded content after installing. I have restarted PSP afterwards, but to no avail. I would try to uninstall and reinstall the packages, but I can't find a way how to do it.
I am using Windows 8 64bit, and the latest update for PSPx5.

May 30, 2011Is there a tool missing from Organizer? A "create new folder" tool button?
Also when returning to organizer, the program doesn't remember where in the folder it was browsing and opens at the TOP of the list. Can Organizer stay running in the background? It can be slow on older machines. Good thing for fast RAM and CPU.

Paint Shop Pro :: Tool Bar Missing On Photos
Jun 16, 2012I'm using Paint Shop Pro X2. Within the past 2 days a problem arises when I try to load more than one photo on the screen. I have multiple photos of the same thing and I want to compare them. When I switch to one of the other photos, all of a sudden I lose the top bar that contains the 3 icons to close, minimize or expand. My only alternative is to shut the program down and restart it.

Feb 19, 2013Running Paintshop pro X5 on windows XP pro SP3. Update from SP1 to SP2 was successful, the program behaves normally for those bits I use. However, after installing SP2 a scan of the registry with CCleaner flagged a missing Type lib reference, {2E3D1417-1E33-4145-AF85-A151B9E95302}
This is referenced in the Type lib key under the following keys but is not defined under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTTypeLib

As I don't know what operations in PSP X5 those keys control, I don't know whether anything is broken as a result of the missing typelib key, or indeed whether those registry keys were made redundant by SP2, but not removed by its installation.
Provide the appropriate reg file to insert the typelib key into the registry, under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTTypeLib.
Paint Shop Pro :: Missing Picture Frames On X6
Oct 26, 2013I know that x6 comes with limited Picture Frames. I loaded, via preferences, the x5 set of frames that I had been using. All was well. Now my frames have vanished. (All but the original limited set). I've tried to reload them into x6. But x6 is refusing to find them. I'm using 64bit. Was before when all was well. Why can't preferences find them now? The thing is I rarely use Picture Frames so I may have forgotten how to reload them via Preferences.
(For interest sake I fired up x5 and the frames have also gone from it. The location was /My Documents/Corel Paintshop Pro/16.0/Picture Frames. The files are still there).

Paint Shop Pro :: Missing Font - BETSY?
Mar 21, 2013I have Paint Shop Pro X4. I File/Open a .PSPIMAGE file and I get a Replace Font window telling me I am missing Font: BETSY.
I went to a download site [URL] and downloaded a Font called BETSY FLANAGAN which appears to be the font I need.
In the dropdown box for the Replace font, I search and find the BETSY FLANAGAN font I downloaded to the FONTS Folder. When I insert it, the text where it is used comes out odd. I have the original jpeg file, so I know the font is not the same. Is BETSY FLANAGAN the same as the missing BETSY font?

Paint Shop Pro :: X2 Missing Menu Options?
Jun 26, 2011In PSP X2, the menu options went suddenly missing.
I can see the Menu Bar (File, View, Effects, etc.). However, when I click on, say, File, I can see the drop-down options, but none of the options expand into their sub-menus. All I see is a grey box where the options should be.
I just now was able to reinstall PSP X2 after many months of problems due to the usual "illegally modified" message. It's very frustrating to say the least.

Sep 18, 2011I cannot seem to find the clone tool options in the EDIT TAB. I have used PSP from version 7 through version X2. Normally when you click on the clone tool a series of options appear in the upper left hand corner near the pull down menus. One of the options is the ability to adjsut the size of the clone tool. These tool adjustment options are missing in version X4. Interestingly, the tool options are available in the Adjust tab.

Feb 17, 2013I have found, that when setting up the Organizer in the Edit workspace, which then has a number of images displayed, if I close PSP, and remove an image using Windows Explorer in the folder that the Organizer had displayed, that when restarting PSP, it freezes immediately after loading.
As I have the Edit workspace set to open first, and because the Organizer was displayed when closed down, it tries to open it with the missing images displayed as gray boxes, and every option in the program locked.
Because it locks immediately, it doesn't allow any changes to fix this problem. The only way to close it is the windows task manager, End Process. So consequently, the only way to access the program is to either uninstall and re-install, or find the original image with the same file name and copy it back to that folder, so that it matches what PSP has displayed for that folder.
Not sure this is a bug, that PSP, when loading, doesn't recognize the changes within the folder it is displaying by the Organizer, or a problem that has a fix?

Dec 27, 2013I installed PSP X6 Ulitimate and when I first pulled it up I saw Instant Effects Thumbnails under the Adjust Tab. I experimented with a few then had to get off. When I reopened the program all the thumbnails were gone. No matter what I do I can't get the Instant Effects to show up in any of the tabs. Sometimes I'll scroll the mouse over the area, click it, and the photo will have one of the instant effects applied, e.g. black and white. That doesn't do me any good because I can't see what is being applied before clicking if the thumbnails aren't showing. how to get the instant effects to show back up?

Dec 13, 2013PSPx6 64-bit runs fine on my computer, but a few weeks ago, the shortcut icon on my desktop (installed by installer program) "defaulted" to a generic-looking "document" icon that communicates nothing. The original icon with a camera and "64-bit" in it disappeared, and I can't figure out how to get it back. Deleting the generic desktop icon and re-creating a shortcut from program files/corel/corel paintshop pro x6 (64-bit) doesn't restore the original icon either. Sounds trivial, but a dumb-looking icon in the system tray (when I have a lot of work going on) doesn't work for me find PSPx6 when I have minimized it. Plus, I wonder if the missing icon isn't sign something else is "broken" as well? (diagnosis, PSPx6 32-bit is also on this laptop, as is PSP pro x3.)

Jul 26, 2011The title just about says it all. I usually edit in Full Editor mode, but normally there is an Explorer-like ribbon running across the bottom, much like the one in Express Lab. I opened PSP ProX3 today and it was gone. I'm guessing it disappeared when i did some editing for my daughter in a non-standard (for me) mode.
How do I get it back? I swear I have hunted and even RTFM'd.
Photoshop :: Missing Plugins From Creative Cloud CS6 Download?
Sep 9, 2012I am missing all the default Plug-ins from Photoshop CS6 from the Creative Cloud. I have uninstalled it. Used the Adobe Cleaner Tool. Done this over and over 4x and the Plug-ins are still missing from the new installation. It is like the Cloud is only re-installing the previous bad version. I also check don't migrate and don't save preferences.

Photoshop :: 3D Missing From Menu Inspite Of Full Subscription In Creative Cloud
Aug 29, 2012I've been reading some of the discussions here regarding missing 3D menus and all the advices have been "if you have a beta or trial you need to upgrade" or "get the paid Creative Cloud version". I have the paid version and I still don't see it. I've seen it in the Panel Menus but don't have a clue as to how to make it visible. All the components under the 3D heading are supposed to be visible (all have "eyes" on them).

Is it my hardware then that's a problem? I've tried CS5 trial version and the 3D worked perfectly on this computer. I'm running on XP professional and a Dell machine that's about 4 years old.
VideoStudio :: Missing Do More Content
Jan 12, 2013I have just had to re-install my copy of X5 Ultimate as for some reason the files stopped working..
When I first started the software it told me there was a service update (previously installed on last install and worked fine) but when I clicked on update now it just closed the window without doing anything. I have downloaded the patch from Corel and that installed without problem.
But now, on looking in the 'do more' section there are only 3 items, Boris, Newblue Effects and Jamendo. (I have the first 2 as part of the ultimate edition anyway). The templates and other downloadable content are missing.
