Paint Shop Pro :: Close All Command Missing?
Dec 31, 2011Where did they hide the "close all" command or what was it renamed to? It's not in the Unused Commands, nor can I find it in the File command list

View 7 RepliesIs there a way to either add a Close All icon to the toolbars or keybind it? I can't find it in the list of menu items you can do that too. It only appears to show in the context menu when you right mouse click on a toolbar.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have just installed PSP X5 and have found a couple of problems.
First one is when I close PSP the process still runs for a good 10 minutes afterwards and consumes a lot of system memory. I found this by accident after I closed PSP X5 and then decided to start it again. It wouldn't open until I closed the previous process.
Second, when I start PSP after the splash screen and the program interface appear I have to wait about 1 minute 40 seconds before I can do anything with the program.
how to improve this situation because at the moment I don't consider this acceptable?
I'm running Windows 7 32 bit with 4Gb of RAM, other than browser and email no other big program is running inthe background
Been using PSP since X2 and never had any real problems, but I recently purchased and installed x6. It started giving me a problem I couldn't live with so I uninstalled and then reinstalled PSPX6 Ultimate. That didn't fix the problem tho.
My problem: when I click on minimize, maximize or close, nothing happens. Repeated clicks of maximize has more than once even closed the program altogether.
As I mentioned, re-installation did not fix it, although the first time I clicked maximize after re-installation it did work. Then it quit.
Just recently, upon closing PSP x5, a message window pops up, the title area usually references using the e-learning center or "Explore more ways to learn and love photography", but the window itself is empty except for the message "Do not display this message again" with a checkbox and a Close button. The Close button does not work, nor does the red X close window button. I have to go into Task Manager to finish closing the program.
I'm on a Windows 8 machine and this just started happening after months of use.
I have installed "creative collection" but an still missing the pen "line" shapes. IE: horizontal, vertical and angle.
View 10 Replies View RelatedWhen I use the Object Removal Tool and after removing the last object I can't cancel or clear the command. The dotted selection box around the object selected remains on the screen. "Esc" doesn't do anything. After doing a crop I can right click on the screen and a dialogue box opens up allowing me to clear the screen of the grid, but that doesn't seem to work with the Object Removal Tool. I think I've read everything I can find, but I'm not seeing the answer. I watched a video on the command, but it didn't show how the command was canceled.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there a tool missing from Organizer? A "create new folder" tool button?
Also when returning to organizer, the program doesn't remember where in the folder it was browsing and opens at the TOP of the list. Can Organizer stay running in the background? It can be slow on older machines. Good thing for fast RAM and CPU.
I've had PSP X3 for a while but it was too much for my old XP machine. With a new Win7 pc, I've installed PSP X3. The "auto hide" function is missing from the palettes. I have PSP8 and PSP10 so I've used the feature before.

I'm using Paint Shop Pro X2. Within the past 2 days a problem arises when I try to load more than one photo on the screen. I have multiple photos of the same thing and I want to compare them. When I switch to one of the other photos, all of a sudden I lose the top bar that contains the 3 icons to close, minimize or expand. My only alternative is to shut the program down and restart it.
View 3 Replies View RelatedRunning Paintshop pro X5 on windows XP pro SP3. Update from SP1 to SP2 was successful, the program behaves normally for those bits I use. However, after installing SP2 a scan of the registry with CCleaner flagged a missing Type lib reference, {2E3D1417-1E33-4145-AF85-A151B9E95302}
This is referenced in the Type lib key under the following keys but is not defined under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTTypeLib
ICorelRipple:
HKCRInterface{761E5581-E7DB-46A0-B0AD-DD19747844D6}
ICorelWindTiles:
HKCRInterface{80980957-0A6E-4067-B7E2-FD156341965D
[Code] ....
As I don't know what operations in PSP X5 those keys control, I don't know whether anything is broken as a result of the missing typelib key, or indeed whether those registry keys were made redundant by SP2, but not removed by its installation.
Provide the appropriate reg file to insert the typelib key into the registry, under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTTypeLib.
I know that x6 comes with limited Picture Frames. I loaded, via preferences, the x5 set of frames that I had been using. All was well. Now my frames have vanished. (All but the original limited set). I've tried to reload them into x6. But x6 is refusing to find them. I'm using 64bit. Was before when all was well. Why can't preferences find them now? The thing is I rarely use Picture Frames so I may have forgotten how to reload them via Preferences.
(For interest sake I fired up x5 and the frames have also gone from it. The location was /My Documents/Corel Paintshop Pro/16.0/Picture Frames. The files are still there).
what is so hard about reinstating the links to the cnews.corel.com newsgroups on the Corel website?
Yes, I know, newsgroups aren't that popular any more, blah blah blah, but they ARE with the people who use them, especially the Paint Shop Pro groups.
Corel are in need of some serious deaf aids as they're just not hearing/listening.
I have Paint Shop Pro X4. I File/Open a .PSPIMAGE file and I get a Replace Font window telling me I am missing Font: BETSY.
I went to a download site [URL] and downloaded a Font called BETSY FLANAGAN which appears to be the font I need.
In the dropdown box for the Replace font, I search and find the BETSY FLANAGAN font I downloaded to the FONTS Folder. When I insert it, the text where it is used comes out odd. I have the original jpeg file, so I know the font is not the same. Is BETSY FLANAGAN the same as the missing BETSY font?
URL where I can download the correct font for free?
In PSP X2, the menu options went suddenly missing.
I can see the Menu Bar (File, View, Effects, etc.). However, when I click on, say, File, I can see the drop-down options, but none of the options expand into their sub-menus. All I see is a grey box where the options should be.
I just now was able to reinstall PSP X2 after many months of problems due to the usual "illegally modified" message. It's very frustrating to say the least.
I cannot seem to find the clone tool options in the EDIT TAB. I have used PSP from version 7 through version X2. Normally when you click on the clone tool a series of options appear in the upper left hand corner near the pull down menus. One of the options is the ability to adjsut the size of the clone tool. These tool adjustment options are missing in version X4. Interestingly, the tool options are available in the Adjust tab.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have found, that when setting up the Organizer in the Edit workspace, which then has a number of images displayed, if I close PSP, and remove an image using Windows Explorer in the folder that the Organizer had displayed, that when restarting PSP, it freezes immediately after loading.
As I have the Edit workspace set to open first, and because the Organizer was displayed when closed down, it tries to open it with the missing images displayed as gray boxes, and every option in the program locked.
Because it locks immediately, it doesn't allow any changes to fix this problem. The only way to close it is the windows task manager, End Process. So consequently, the only way to access the program is to either uninstall and re-install, or find the original image with the same file name and copy it back to that folder, so that it matches what PSP has displayed for that folder.
Not sure this is a bug, that PSP, when loading, doesn't recognize the changes within the folder it is displaying by the Organizer, or a problem that has a fix?
I am finding that X5 is missing some of the basic Gradients.
For instance, how can I get the foreground/background (Corel_06_029) I often use that gradient
I installed PSP X6 Ulitimate and when I first pulled it up I saw Instant Effects Thumbnails under the Adjust Tab. I experimented with a few then had to get off. When I reopened the program all the thumbnails were gone. No matter what I do I can't get the Instant Effects to show up in any of the tabs. Sometimes I'll scroll the mouse over the area, click it, and the photo will have one of the instant effects applied, e.g. black and white. That doesn't do me any good because I can't see what is being applied before clicking if the thumbnails aren't showing. how to get the instant effects to show back up?
View 4 Replies View RelatedPSPx6 64-bit runs fine on my computer, but a few weeks ago, the shortcut icon on my desktop (installed by installer program) "defaulted" to a generic-looking "document" icon that communicates nothing. The original icon with a camera and "64-bit" in it disappeared, and I can't figure out how to get it back. Deleting the generic desktop icon and re-creating a shortcut from program files/corel/corel paintshop pro x6 (64-bit) doesn't restore the original icon either. Sounds trivial, but a dumb-looking icon in the system tray (when I have a lot of work going on) doesn't work for me find PSPx6 when I have minimized it. Plus, I wonder if the missing icon isn't sign something else is "broken" as well? (diagnosis, PSPx6 32-bit is also on this laptop, as is PSP pro x3.)
View 3 Replies View RelatedThe title just about says it all. I usually edit in Full Editor mode, but normally there is an Explorer-like ribbon running across the bottom, much like the one in Express Lab. I opened PSP ProX3 today and it was gone. I'm guessing it disappeared when i did some editing for my daughter in a non-standard (for me) mode.
How do I get it back? I swear I have hunted and even RTFM'd.
I need to copy and rename my current drawing then open the copied drawing, and I need to close the original drawing.
However when I try to both open the renamed drawing and close the original drawing (in the code below), the original drawing will not close.
If I don't open the renamed drawing, the following code works and I can close the original drawing.
[CommandMethod("TestClose", CommandFlags.Session)] public void TestCloseDocument() { string fullName = Autodesk.AutoCAD.ApplicationServices.Application.DocumentManager.MdiActiveDocument.Name; string projectDirectory = System.IO.Path.GetDirectoryName(Autodesk.AutoCAD.ApplicationServices.Application.DocumentManager.MdiActiveDocument.Name);

View 9 Replies View RelatedIn the menu under File there is a command "Close and Go to Bridge" Is there a way to do something similar for returning to Lightroom after a "Save"?
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe "X"'s in the minimize, maximize, close space are missing from drawings and the recovery manager. I have to close Acad and restart to get them to reappear.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI've seen this happen with a couple of the previous releases, but not for some time. After the CLOSE command is issued, the drawing graphics remain displayed but no AutoCAD specific keyboard or mouse input is accepted. More of an annoyance, I guess, as Control + O will then allow opening of another drawing file. This just started today for no apparent reason after using 2014 for the past week or so. Prior to this happening, my workstation locked up completely while trying to close a CAD file and Task Manager wouldn't take any input.

I almost always work with multiple drawings in the same Autocad window. Often (maybe 2/3rds of the time?) when I have one drawing maximized inside the Autocad window, the minimize-downsize-close buttons disappear from that drawing's window. The only way to get them back is to cascade the windows.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have Lightroom installed on two Windows 7, 64bit systems. On one the top line above the File, Edit, Library... line is the expected; Lightroom 3 Catalog... at the left end and the three boxes on the right (minimize, maximize and Close). On my other system that line is missing. How to get it back?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm using autocad 2013 & the classic workspace instead of ribbon. For some strange reason, if 2 or more drawings are open & I minimize a drawing, it removes the minimize, maximize, close buttons from the right top side of the screen like in the attached picture. To get them back I have to go to the window pulldown & select the drawing from there. I'm using windows 7 pro with a nvidia quadro 1000m card.
