View 9 Replies View RelatedI have two images that are of different sizes to begin with. One is 1330x2000 and the other 400x472.
way to resize these pictures to become the same pixel size so that they are symetrical. I know how to resize the pictures but when I do, both pictures never become the same pixel size because they are different in size to begin with. I have found that I need to crop first and sort of play with the cropping and the resizing of the picture. This takes forever though!
I can tell it to make both pictures the same pixel size (without stretching the picture). Or can I set the crop size of an exact size then crop the main areas of each image. Wouldn't this then give me the same pixel size?
I want to make symmetric surface i.e. golf ball with dimples. I found that I can do them by using revolve cut but how can I set them symmetrically on whole spherical surface.
View 5 Replies View RelatedIn our work we draw many symmetrical outlines. In many cases, chiefly due to space constraint, we draw only half the outline and use a centerline of the symmetry to dimension the part.
Our current method is to use sketches to achieve this. I wonder if there is a way that we can make this linetype available from the styles? Diagram attached below.
I am currently trying to make a symmetrical texture map for my character.
For example, I want the arms of a character to share the same texture pattern.
But I can't place the UV shell corresponding to one arm on top of the piece corresponding to the other arm because it doesn't match without flip.
If I'm trying to flip this shell it becomes shaded with a semi-transparent red color. But all UV shells must be shaded with blue and have a clockwise winding order. Am I right ?
Is there a way to reverse the winding order so the UVs match the original half's without physically flipping the UV shell on the U or V.

View 9 Replies View RelatedFor most of our product photos, I create a copy of the image, flip it vertically, fade it out, and then move it down to create a mirror image effect. Simple enough. But this one I'm having a problem. The product has 4 legs, and from this view, the back 2 legs are shorter. When I do my normal steps that I listed, I get similar to what you see below. I know all about drawing a marquee around part of the reflection, hitting Ctrl+T and then holding down Ctrl+Shift to skew just what's in the marquee. I've done this technique a lot, but it does not work for this particular image. What do I have to do to get the reflection of the back legs to line up with the actual back legs in the image?

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I have 2 alpha channels. When I try to make a new selection intersecting those 2 alpha channels, there is always about 1 px that is not selected...
In the image the black pixels are the new selection, and red pixels are one of the alpha channels. No matter what I do, I can't make the new selection completely "fill the red pixels".

View 2 Replies View RelatedThere was a video that showed you how to create the mirror effect that USED to be the "flip" for PSP. The video I am referring to, it showed how to do it as a script, and then customize it with a shortkey, and finally, it showed you how to add it to the menu (I had it under "Images", just above Flip Horizontally, Flip Vertically).

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have taken about 50 images of people walking in a heavily trafficked area. I want to have all the people added together into one image. Each person is to have full opacity.
I started by making an image with no one in the scene using the Median blend mode with a layer stack to remove all the people. Worked fine. Now, I am hoping there is some way to create masks or knockouts of the people in each of the individual images by somehow comparing them to the scene with no people. Some way to mask out or knock out those areas which are different, i.e. the people. I will then stack all the images of the people on top of one another to create a very complicated image showing the volume of traffic.
Using CS3.

I have two Duotone images generated using CS5. One is of some trees, with "holes" cut out where the leaves were (I used a a mask to generate transparent regions where the leaves should be), and another Duotone image of just the leaves. I would like to combine the two, with each Duotone image retaining its unique and different color scheme. If all went well, the leaves would be visible in the transparent "holes" of the tree image. However, when I try combining the two, by dragging one on top of the other, they both take on the Duotone color scheme of the trees image. So I do see the leaves in the "holes", but they have lost their unique coloring. Is it possible to combine these two Duotone images in some manner? The Duotones are saved in the default .psd format.
