I know how to combine or merge tow images in Photoshop CS5
But if I use images from the Internet, mostly by seaching in Google picture search. The images has different quality, such as colors and lightning.
Is there a way in Photoshop to combine the colors in two images, so they have the same color tones. So as speak, look like the same quality.
How do I meassure and compare the colors and light in-side Photoshop.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have taken about 50 images of people walking in a heavily trafficked area. I want to have all the people added together into one image. Each person is to have full opacity.
I started by making an image with no one in the scene using the Median blend mode with a layer stack to remove all the people. Worked fine. Now, I am hoping there is some way to create masks or knockouts of the people in each of the individual images by somehow comparing them to the scene with no people. Some way to mask out or knock out those areas which are different, i.e. the people. I will then stack all the images of the people on top of one another to create a very complicated image showing the volume of traffic.

I was looking at a picture of someone where they took a picture of a pumpkin, and one of themselves, they managed to combine the images so that their face was in the pumpkin, as if they freally had a pumpkin for a head. can anyone direct me on how to do this, it was really cool.

One is of some trees, with "holes" cut out where the leaves were (I used a a mask to generate transparent regions where the leaves should be), and another Duotone image of just the leaves. I would like to combine the two, with each Duotone image retaining its unique and different color scheme. If all went well, the leaves would be visible in the transparent "holes" of the tree image. However, when I try combining the two, by dragging one on top of the other, they both take on the Duotone color scheme of the trees image. So I do see the leaves in the "holes", but they have lost their unique coloring. Is it possible to combine these two Duotone images in some manner? The Duotones are saved in the default .psd format.

I have 4 differernt photo shoots that I want to combine into one big single catalogue. I want to be able to rank and choose images from all 4 shoots at the same time so I can get the best ones identified.
Each shoot is already in its separate catalogue but I cant figure out how to get all 4 shoots to show up at once so I can rank the best shots and maybe even make a collection of my best images from the 4 shoots.
I am working on pdf file, in which all the assets has been created in illustrator. I am opening that file in illustrator, and by save for web option exporting the images. But somehow the images as not proper. There are some colour related issues and also the images are not proper.
Is there any other way around so that I can extract those without loosing the quality ?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been having problems with Photoshop CS3 lately, for some reason the image quality is always horrible when I'm working on a PSD.
As you can, see the gradient quality is HORRIBLE.
All I did was add a slightly lighter shade of gray over the background, I have dither checked, I'm using RGB mode, and I'm using 8-bits channeled..
But if I do a simple white to black gradient it turns out smooth, the bad quality gradient only happens when it's two dark colors.
I would like to know if there's any possible way of increasing the quality of a low resolution image? if sharpening the image might make a difference.

When designing the pages sometimes i need to CTRL+T (shrink or enlarge) the images. So the question is, do these images lose (print) quality with all the CTRL + T?
BTW i never decrease the resolution, image size.
I want to re size a lot of images to a lower quality. Is there a way of doing this process without having to open each individual file time after time. All the images are different sizes. I just want to lower the size of the file for putting in a pdf catalogue.

Toady I've noticed that Gimp opens high quality jpg images in lower quality than their original ones.I made sure by opening the image using another software, and it gave me apparent good jpg quality that i expect.Please check attachments (see the red button).Noting that when i saved the opened image form Gimp using the maximum quality (100%), it saved in a lower quality that was on-screen visible when it was opened. it is a bug?

View 2 Replies View RelatedOur customers have given us some black and white Monochrome Bitmap images at 400 ppi (see attached sample) and 600 ppi of some scanned black and white engineering drawings. Some of the small text on the drawings is not very legible because open areas are filled in with black. Some of the vertical and horizontal lines are ragged (digitized) on the edges. Is there any way that I can improve the visual quality of these Monochrome Bitmap images in Corel Draw (which I use) or Corel Paint (of which I'm not very knowledgeable, or adept)?

Problem: All images are poor quality. I've tried clicking on enhanced view. That didn't work. This is across Draw, Photo Paint and Connect. I tried to alter a logo in Paint a year ago. I thought maybe it was just my machine causing the problem. But, I emailed to my brother and it was just as blurry on his machine. I've tried to look at Clip Art and the vector images are really bad--especially ones from previous versions of Corel.
When I make a standard print of any object, I normally offer two or three views, I also include an isometric view of the object that I draw in a 3-D program, and I cut and paste a screen shot of that image into my Autocad file. I do this for the few of our Brothers who have a problem reading standard blueprints for their own reasons. After cut and paste, I find that the image quality is extremely poor, with ragged and unclear edges, I am not sure but I think the poor quality edges are called tesselation. Is there a solution to this condition?

I have to scale it down small, but I can't figure I've tried different settings with the pdf.I have also scaled it in photoshop and still doesn't matter.
