I have made a couple of web templates that I would want to try and use to turn into a website. I make them all on PSCS, but I just wanted to know from the majority.....how would I make my photoshop work published into a web template?
Macro that will publish selected layouts, and give you the save to option.I know you can do a right click and publish selected layouts....but I'm looking for a macro
How to use Autodesk's DWG to PDF driver to plot multiple through publish? Whenever I try to plot more than one layout at a time I get a driver not found error.
after 2013 was installed in my colleagues computer he now has the option to include Layouts when opening the publishing command, which didn't happen before. It is a slight pain removing these from the selection to be published and I was wondering how I get it to only select models and not layouts when opening the publish command as default.
How come when I publish to plotter the layouts in a dwg in 2014 they stay in perpetual publish status and don't plot, but open same dwg in 2013, publish and almost by the time I get to the printer, all 7 layouts have printed.
when I trying to publish in single-sheet file. so I type publish on my command bar, then I chose publish to pdf but when i try to click on publish options to set the location where I need to put the pdf files the publish window freeze. same thing when i click on add sheet button.
NOTE: I have this problem especialy when I used AUtoCAD from home. to use AutoCAD from home I made borrow licence.
Using AutoCAD 2013, myself and several other coworkers have encountered an error message when creating a pdf with the publish command. I attached a screen shot of it.
We never experienced this in earlier versions. It doesn't happen 100% of the time, but it has been recurring more in the past month. I have restarted the computer after receiving the message and then invoked the publish command after restart and it was successful. I'm not going to do this every time I publish, nor do I see the need to turn off background plotting. That just seems like a bandaid fix.
I even tried publishing with different page setups to determine if it would react differently to any page setup, but it doesn't. I attached a view of my publish window, as well.
I'm desinging a site for a local tattoo shop and i made the layout. How do i keep that same layout for all the pages of the site, but have the content on it for those pages? Would i like them the same way and link would be used in html? Also, i read constant tutorials about slicing and i still do not get it. I'm trying to slice the layout so i can have the content area fully manually editable in html without the layout breaking up into pieces which happens when people are new at slicing.
I am trying to make a couple of web layouts in photoshop but I am having a problem with the dimensions. What is the avergae size for a layout and how can you determine how big everything is? Would you design for instance a header, menus, etc seperately then put it together in a main layout? Does anyone have any tips? When i look at tutorials i can produce the layouts but when it comes to looking at them in html,
Why would you take a layout from Illustrator or Photoshop to InDesign when you can do the entire layout in either of those programs, with crop guides and save the files as a PDF for printing? Is there any reason to not do an entire layout in Photoshop?
I've made quite a few layouts in Photoshop CS and feel like adding flash effects to some of them. Each layout has a sort of "banner" on the top (like the polar bear scene in my example), that displays an image (or group of images) that set the theme of the site.
How do I take the layout "banners" I have now and convert them into Flash documents, with all layers nicely converted and eveything?
An example is this: I'd like to make those snow flakes fall (or move, for starters)... how can I begin?
Is there a way to customize Picture Package Layouts in PSE 10? I have one image that I want to print 1in x 1in and completely fill a letter size sheet with that same image. Or, is there a way to tell PSE 10 to print out the one image 56 (or however many) times on the page and it would size it automatically?
I would like to create a collage for my sons birthday with a photo from each month and one big one the middle with some text..so a layout for 12 or more photos is what I need.
i have started creating layouts in photoshop cs3 and i was wondering if there is an easy way to save my layouts as fluid width, as opppsed to fixed, so they resize according to the browser window. is css the only way to go?
I am trying to build custom layouts for printing picture packages, but cannot find out how to get to the layout dialog box or the edit layout dialog box so that I can build and save custom layouts. How do I get to the point where these boxes appear? I've tried it from both Organizer and Editor, but not joy at all.
I notice that my photo's look a lot more fuzzy (unsharp) when i resize them and publish them on my website Currently i simply do a image resize to 960 pixels and then choose Save for web?
I used to use a program called Paint Shop Pro X for photo-editting, and there was a feature on it that curved the edges of your item to make it look 3D, like a button. Naturally, it was called "buttonize." So I thought, "Surely if PhotoShop CS3 is so much more expensive than PSPX, then they must have some way of doing this," and yet I could find none.
Second of all, I'm trying to post an Image that I made for an avatar on another forum. However, I can't post an image larger than 100x100 or with a file size of 18Kbs or over. It's ridiculous, I know, but it must be done. Anyways, my file-size now is around 27.5Kbs. I need to make it fit, but every time I adjust something like the dpi, it doesn't save as a smaller file-size. I tried to look up the "Save for web or Device" feature, but it keeps telling me to use the "Optimize" menu which does not exist at all!
I'm about ready to put together a large job that is going to have a lot of sheets. Since most of my jobs are one sheet plans, this is out of my comfort zone. I usually just have a scaled cover sheet/border that I drop into model space and put whatever I need into it there and then print it. This job has several mini jobs in one huge model space. I think It's going to be better for me to actually use paper space as its intended this time. I'm using 2010. Just a skeleton of an order of operations, so at least I have something to search for detailed instructions.
I had created 14 layouts, in 9 of them i can copy my stamp, in others 3 - I cant ( I am doing copybase and simple copy/paste - isn't working)... what could be wrong with those few layouts. ?
When I cut and paste a viewport from one layout to the other the layers that were frozen in that viewport become thawed. Is there any way of copying the viewport over so that those layers that are frozen in that viewport only remain that way ?
Any way to select an Invalid Xref that is attached on multiple layouts and delete them at once instead of going through every single layout and deleting it manually.
I Can't think of what might be making this happen, but when I export a single layout to PDF (or to a printer) everything works out as normal. When I Export all Layouts to PDF, my text changes fonts and inserts squares for only some of the characters.
When I add an object field in paperspace to report on the scale of a viewport in the layout, as I return to that layout and zoom in or out the viewport displays as hot in MS (tab reports as PS) and leaves the MS information of my previous visit embeded on the layouts neutral background and the "new" zoomed MS information is added to modelspace. The background objects cannot be selected or deleted but if I go to the block editor screen -choosing any block for my selection, when I close the block edit and return to the layout, the objects are cleared. I have installed service pack #1 for v12 and I lso have installed V13. I didn't notice this problem prior to the service pack or usin v13. I have an Intel i7 processor, 64 bit.
