View 2 RepliesI created a Web Gallery and forgot to update the folder name for the FTP server.
How can I update the saved gallery? If you change module and double click again on the saved gallery icon, the changes are lost.
Here is what I get via right click:
How do you solve this without the need to delete and save the gallery again?
Is there a way to turn off all section tags for drawings refering to all Sketch Layouts in all the Construction Document Layouts?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had a great time using the Web Photo Galleries in Photoshop CS and CS2, especially since I'm fairly deft with HTML and a total Flash dunce, so the Web Photo Gallery Flash 1 and Flash 2 templates have served me well and allowed me to make fun Flash stuff without having to learn. But, with learn-by-doing, there often comes a point of confusion, and I think I've found mine.
I noticed that (when using the gallery "Flash 1"), if I click the little ? in the bottom right, the file name will come on and stay on throughout all the pictures. This is exactly what I want since that's where I do all my captioning and it really adds something for me to be able to see that. My question: how in the world do I get it to do this by default? I'm always telling friends/family, "oh, click the little ? in the bottom right and it'll show the captions," but am certain there must be some way to do this by default.
I fiddled in the galleryconfig.xml file, but there's only this line
HTML Code:
<var symboltype="boolean" name="showHelpButton" value="true" />
which actually just tells the button to be displayed, but not for the thing that happens as a result of pushing the button to stay displayed.
In version 9. How do I get the gallery tabs at the bottom, for a gallery pane docked on the right?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI import a gallery into LR 5. It shows up on the list on the left side. I click on the folder. The folder opens but the thumbs are dimmed. I can't undim them. I can open a single file but can't Develop it or do anything with it. I can't even Delete the folder so I can try again.
This happens over and over again. Yes, I'm new to LR but this is ridiculous.
In making a web gallery is there a way to make some minor changes and resave the web gallery?I find I have to delete the existing web gallery then recreate it then save it again ?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using a Mac, Lightroom 3 uploading to a host monster.com server. the Lightroom HTML gallery displays fine when exported and opened offline but when uploaded to my server, backgrounds and navigation and cells appear fine but all the photos appear to be missing. the source code appears to have the correct path. When I've seen this question earlier users suggest that the photos are being put in a bin file but mine look to be in the correct path on the server. Other users suggest changing code in some Lightroom files perhaps using the SDK but I can't find the files they suggest changing (I think they might have been on pcs instead of macs). .

I am working with the Web module in Lightroom 4 (now 4.4) to create an online gallery with photos. I like the layout of the HMTL default template and would like to use. The only problem I found is that I can't seem to find a way to change the size of the thumbnail images and the enlarged photo that appears once the viewer clicks on the thumbnail.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy current website has Flash-based galleries created in LR using SlideShowPro. I want to create an alternate web gallery for viewing on the iPad and iPhone. Any LR web gallery plug-in for this purpose? If possible, I'd like the gallery to work the way the iPhone Camera Roll works, but at very least, I'd like viewers to be able to simply flick their way through the images.SlideShowPro Director does this, but I'm not quite ready to take on its complexity.)

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a problem saving a web gallery locally: I originally build/saved/uploaded a web gallery (www.myreimannfamily.de >dogs < Inouk and Tofino >2013).I now modified/added pictures to this gallery and tried to save it again locally. Got the error message:
export did not complete successfully it then showed all pictures in the collection then the message: JPEG files were generated using the best pixel data available in the image cache the local web gallery structure (content, resources...) were correctly created but all files were completely empty All image files are there and can be modified at high resolution in the Develop mode.
Since the original set up of this gallery I:
upraded to LR 5.3
converted some .nef files to .dng
If I delete the saved web gallery and create the same gallery from scratch, the same problem/error message pops up. Construction of other web galleries is no problem (up to now)
This is so incredibly cumbersome for clients to have to sift through hundreds of images, with dozens of pages, when they should be able to view one page (even if I have 80+ rows) or a couple in a gallery.
I reallllly hate to keep using Legacy Bridge scripts for web gallery, since LR is lightyears ahead of it in so many aspects. But I don't have a choice since I can only get 40 images on a page with.
I can't find any custom presets that offer more than 5 rows!
PS - I only use HTML to keep it iPhone friendly and nimble...
Is it possible to use the flash gallery in Lightroom and have a way for the user to right click and save images for themselves? I see that in the simpleviewer there is an option for the user to right click and open the image in a new window so users can save the images from the new window. Is there a way for this in the flash galleries as well?
View 1 Replies View RelatedStill using Lightroom 2, created a web gallery and closed the program still on the web tab. Now Lightroom won't load. The icon on the bottom (Mac) shows it's working (like it does for export) and shows it completely filled up, but the screen won't even open if I ever change to another program while waiting for it to load. If I leave it up it just stays there.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have AdobeRGB PSDs and camera RAW files, that I develop in LR and then export for web. Does LR default to a conversion to sRGB? I can't find a tick-box for this. All web images seem to get tagged sRGB, but I'm not sure whether this is a genuine colour space conversion, or merely a re-tagging.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to get user created profiles for my Sony cameras and lenses, as LR doesn't have very many built in.
I need to install the profile downloader, which downloads as a ".air" file. I've uninstalled Adobe Air and reinstalled the latest version but when I try to install the "Adobe_Lens_Profile_Downloader_1_0_1.air" file I get the message:

I want my laptop to function as a quick viewer for showing a portfolio.
I thought I'd experiment (for the first time) with the web creation options in LR5.3, but at "Save" time point all materials, files, links, etc. inside my own hard drive or SSDs on the laptop. There are times when I want to show someone images without depending on a connection to the Internet. I have web-delivered services I can use but I am looking for the quickest appearance and on the screen and some control over navigation (able to organize the materials). I want ease of replacement or addition of images from LR as circumstances dictate.
I own Dreamweaver from CS4, and have a little experience setting up links. Perhaps I would have to do some work in Dreamweaver?
My "real" portfolio is a WordPress.org install hosted at my ISP and I might even pay to have that template duplicated on this "local web server" but that's a different question.
I have an existing website and I would like to embed a Lightroom gallery into that website. I am not sure how to get it on my web page since the code from the gallery puts out an index.html page. The program has everything I want but only if I can put into existing web pages.
I can upload the page and get it to run on its own but that is not what I want. I want it embedded into my existing website.
LR 4.2: I'm using one of the HTML web gallery templates, with drop shadow switched on for the thumbnails. The drop shadows are rendered fine online with all my browsers EXCEPT IE8, whey are just not there.
