Is there a method to move gallery tabs so that Page & Layer Gallery tab is first in line (at the top) of docked gallery tabs at the right of the screen? I can move gallery tabs, but cannot make Page & Layer gallery tab move to the top.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm used from XDP6 to having the P&L Gallery stay the size I set it to - whereas in XDP7, when I press 'Pages' to reduce the listing into page names only - the panel suddenly shrinks to the left, given that the names only occupy a small space. This bugs me, esp at it shunt the page I'm working on to the left by the same amount as well.

View 2 Replies View RelatedEvery time I launch Xara, I want the page and layer gallery to be at "layer level" mode, however it is only showing it at "page level" mode. Is there a way to make it default to layer level? It can get pretty redundant to have to click on that page to open it every time.

As the attached screen shot shows, the thumbs are indeed bigger but the gallery width has stayed the same so that the large thumbs are clipped.
P.S. I would like even bigger page thumbs.
My work PC says it is W7 64bit, Xeon E5504 2.0GHz ( 2 processors ) with 24GB. I am not sure how fancy that is but it sure has a lot of memory.

Scrolling the PageGallery thumbs was super fast.
Scrolling the whole document was a bit laggy but just acceptable ( not really ).
BUT the delay between clicking on a PageGallery thumb and that page being rendered was unacceptable ( ~15secs ).
So, unable to navigate at a workable speed, I gave up and split the document into several separate files.

It's just the same. If anything the delay after clicking a page Gallery thumb is longer. So I guess memory was never the problem ?
Can I remove the "arrows" when i move the Gallery?

Nothing happening. I can select it and see it drag, but as soon as I release the mouse button it disappears. Also tried using the "apply" button on the gallery.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had a great time using the Web Photo Galleries in Photoshop CS and CS2, especially since I'm fairly deft with HTML and a total Flash dunce, so the Web Photo Gallery Flash 1 and Flash 2 templates have served me well and allowed me to make fun Flash stuff without having to learn. But, with learn-by-doing, there often comes a point of confusion, and I think I've found mine.
I noticed that (when using the gallery "Flash 1"), if I click the little ? in the bottom right, the file name will come on and stay on throughout all the pictures. This is exactly what I want since that's where I do all my captioning and it really adds something for me to be able to see that. My question: how in the world do I get it to do this by default? I'm always telling friends/family, "oh, click the little ? in the bottom right and it'll show the captions," but am certain there must be some way to do this by default.
I fiddled in the galleryconfig.xml file, but there's only this line

which actually just tells the button to be displayed, but not for the thing that happens as a result of pushing the button to stay displayed.
I created a Web Gallery and forgot to update the folder name for the FTP server.
How can I update the saved gallery? If you change module and double click again on the saved gallery icon, the changes are lost.

issues with PageGallery and CS6? I have uninstalled and reinstalled PageGallery until my fingers are numb. Today I thought my version of CS5 was causing a conflict so I uninstalled it, uninstalled Page Gallery, reinstalled PageGallery and now have two different issues. The first is an error message that an exe disk can't be found (the download does't require a disk) and when I bypass that message and try to make a page from PageGallery, the error message is: cannot connect to Photoshop: class not registered.

View 3 Replies View RelatedIt would be nice if the Web Gallery in Lightroom and Bridge would allow an easy way to add a home page link to allow users & clients not only to see the Gallery but get an entry point into your main web site. Manual and a tad time consuming, but adding a small amount of XML/HTML it can be done.
When you create a Flash Web Gallery it created a number of XML files in the Resource Directory. Navigate to this directory and open the file called group.xml
Here is where you need at add a snippet of code and here is the example - not elegant but I am not a programmer. Look for a section called custom it will look like <custom> and under the <siteTitle> add the code highlighted in red. The http reference should be red but the formatting of this page will not allow

Edit Arrgh the formatting of this page stripped out the link after the first ". so you will need to add your full URL including http and www of your home page..Now save the file and then upload the package as you normally would and at the top of the page of your Flash Gallery will be the link you inserted.
As I said not very elegant but it does work.they will add an input box to the Web Gallery Creator.
I have an original copy of Corel Xara that I purchased many years ago.
On the disc is a huge amount of clip art and other items, I tried to incorporate these into the Designs Gallery but whilst I could get the graphics to work I could not get the images to show in the drop downs against the icons in the designs gallery. I just got a grey blank panel with the graphic name. This means that I still have to search through the manual to find a specific graphic.
Fortunately I also have the 500'ish page manual (approx 100 per page) for the clip art/symbols/fonts/etc..etc.
I may not use many of the graphics but it would be good to be able to install selected images with the pictures.
Today, I've been mostly trying to get the Cloud Gallery 2 widget to work as advertised. According to the instructions, once the photos I want to use are in place I can -
'Set text shown when mousing over the image using the caption field on the image tab of the Utilities > Web Properties dialog. Do this for all images.'
I've done this, but all I can get to appear is the main title of the widget itself. At no point can I get individual captions to appear describing the graphic.
Currently running designer Pro X, I am finally getting around to trying to build or add additional bitmaps to my gallery so that I can customize my graphics. I cannot find, the bitmaps Gallery on my original install disk. Where can I find quality bitmaps to add to my gallery? Once I locate either a complete file and/or a single image how do I permanently added to my gallery file so that when I launch Xara the bitmaps will be available any time I want to use them as a fill from the paint menu?

After downloading the content pack earlier this week, my brush gallery disappeared. The only brush that is available is the "normal line". All of my "galleries" are checked in the Utilities menu. I know I can delete the original image and replace it but is there a way I can drag my new picture over the old one and replace it like I can when I drag an image from the Bitmap Gallery?
I presume it isn't possible as the original image is a square or rectangle that is filled with the bitmap and the clipped image is an irregular shape.

I have created a simple animation with 6 frames in the gallery. I want to link each individual frame to different websites. So, as the animation on the site is changing, you can click on one frame, and it takes you to one site, or you click on the next frame and it takes you to another site.

I created a new page in tumblr and would like to embedd a picture gallery out of Lightroom. There are some nice html presets in Lightroom, but I cant get them into tumblr. I now installed a tumblr plugin (Jeffrey Friedl), but it only let me upload a picture onto my main tumblr page. What I want is to export a HTML gallery preset not on the main page of tumbler but on the "sub" page I have created.

The area where the mouse converts to the double arrow is quite narrow. At least for an old shaky man like me. Is there a REGEDIT value I could change to widen the "active" area of the gallery borders for the purpose of stretching them?
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe same thing happens on all three blur gallery effects (field blur, iris blur, tilt shift). Once I pick the filter the layer becomes empty. The strange thing is that when I manipulate any of the controls the object appears, but once I stop holding the mousebutton down on the input. The object disappears again. When i apply the settings (enter or the ok buttoon). The layer is empty.
I have used these filters a lot, this just happend suddenly. And I can't fix it. Restart does not work.

I cannot find how to show page tabs at the top of my workspace.
I attach a .jpg to show where the tabs are missing (compared with a screen shot of a video that has the tabs in-place).
I am sure they were there originally but cannot restore them (I tried widows -> control bar -> reset, but that didn't work).
I just added a fill/texture to an image and now when I create more objects, the fill is still there. How can I re-set the fill gallery back to no-fill?
